Eto finally got home, he opened the door, looked around at the familiar sight of his mum's house where he grew up with his sister, The house was a 10 story building made up mostly of smart glass, The house included a Training room, a Game room, Weapons room, The Bedrooms, a Macro Terrarium and a lot of other rooms.

Eto looked around the house but didn't find his sister so he guessed she wasn't able to convince Mira to wait until he gets back.

"Hey Al, I want a sandwich with some orange juice" Eto said to the butler

"Right away sir.." the android said and started moving towards the kitchen, Eto moved and sat at the kitchen island, Then he thought of calling Jen but thought to himself.

'Nah I should call her later when she's less busy then we can go see the mermaids at that new instance' Instances in the galaxy of NYCTOS are irregular movement of a space or place in time in another planet to another place, The time for instances vary, some last forever, while some are just there for a few milliseconds.

Al brought the sandwiches and orange juice over and placed them on the kitchen island, While eating he looked through the list of people in his contacts on the kitchen island, the kitchen island is made of glass with touch input making it look like a giant screen sometimes, He found who he was looking for and touched his name.

"Hello, Who this" a male voice came, before a face with week old stubble came up on screen.

"Hey Joe, I see you're still as lazy as usual."

"Am not lazy man, just saving energy and besides I exercise when I sleep, and besides I thought you died so I was sleeping to rejoice, You know if you die, I get everything you own, from your video game collection to your weapons collection, your spaceships, and maybe even your girlfriend."

"Hah in your dreams, You know deep diving with VR while sleeping isn't healthy, You could die in VR and in real life, Your brain registers the death in deep dive and just switches of over here killing you."

"Whoa, That's interesting, Am fascinated, Am intrigued, Oh how smart art thou." Joe said sarcastically with a smirk on his face.

"Funny, I'm just looking out for you, come over man let's play the hunt."

"That's a weird game bro, all we do is walk, hunt animals, drive, hunt animals and then repeat."

"Well you know you can choose to be the animal."

"Like hell I would, don't think I've forgotten what you did to me last time, You shot my butt."

"Yeah man, I was trying to keep you from running away, I'll just plug in the mod so we can play animal wars while hunting, that way they can attack us when they see us."

"Yeah now you're talking, those killer meerkats are the worse, they climb into your mouth and come out your butt, now that's just furykey business, I'll be right there lemme get dressed."

Eto cut the video call, and continued eating, When he was done he got up and went to his room on the 5th floor, He had his wash and changed his clothes into what he thinks is comfortable, a sweatpant and a grey t-shirt, He went back down to the living room to wait for joe, Joe showed up 20 minutes later.

Joe was a tall and muscular guy with a chiseled face and a black hair.

"Finally our deer arrives." Eto called out as soon as Joe came through the door .

Joe looked at him and said with a smile"Don't poke me, I've got antlers man."

"Come on man, the games are waiting."

They went up to the game room and wore the VR glasses which are as thin as paper. Then they entered the game.

"Okay hold on, let me fix in the mod and ... there we go, The hunt begins."

"Hey Eto that gopher's looking at us pretty strangely."

"That's means it working."

"Yeah am pretty sure that gopher wasn't here last time."

"True but we were in the weeping forests when we played last time remember, we couldn't have seen all the animals from there."

"Okay let's go, am gonna stick with you this time, we'll wait for them to come together then we kill them all."

"Or we can seek them out before they come group us and swarm us like they did last time, I can't believe you died to a frog."

"Hey bro, that frog was poisonous, all it had to do was touch my face, And don't think I've forgotten how you died to, how does someone die to a swarm of flies."

"Alright alright, let's go."

Eto and Joe started walking then Joe spotted a pack of hyena moving with a pack of wolves. He turned and looked towards Eto but he was surprised to see that Eto climbed a tree and got ready to shoot at the animals.

Eto signalled to Joe using his hands and said

"Hurry up joe before they leave our line of sight."

They were using rifles fitted with scopes.

Eto steadied his breathing like his mum taught him and fire the first shot at the alpha wolf meters in from of him, The bullet wheezed past the wolves head, but the animals had already heard the sound and where quickly scurrying away, Joe fired his and managed to graze the wolf of the alpha who hadn't been expecting a shot from another direction.

"What happened to you Eto." Joe said and smiled at Eto.

He looked at Joe and said grimly."The wolf dodged it." Joe looked at him and said "What do you mean."

"I mean he dodged it, am looking at the mod again." Joe looked into the distance and they both neglected the path behind them and two white animals with fluffy eyes creeped closer to them, Eto looked at Joe and said"Its says that after repetitive gaming, there is a ninety percent chance for the animals to develop into a H.A.I(Higher Artificial intelligence)"

"Wow so that means if we play it long enough, the animals may even get as smart as us."

"Probably."

"Hey... " Joe looked around and from the corner of his eye his saw the ears moving towards him and Eto, He took a deep breath to calm himself and said to Eto. "This is bad, there are two targets behind us, how we gonna do this, guns blazing or dagger wiping."

"Guns blazing bro.."

They both saw the glint in each other's eyes then turned around really fast and shot at the two rabbits.

As soon as the rabbits died, A pack of wolves made up of a dozen black wolves, was moving slowly towards them, They both looked at each other again then started running, In the game, they made their characters very normal so they didn't have any powers, The wolves chased after them, and they shot at the wolves as they ran.

"Joe , Joe , we have to hurry and get to high ground, I don't think I can keep up anymore, my character is getting tired."

"Serves you right for making your character fat, but what you said is true, if we had the higher ground, we could force them back."

They ran until they came across a river and they both jumped inside thinking the wolves won't jump after them but the wolves jumped inside and started paddling towards them, they swam faster and climb ashore then hid in a nearby bush and waited till the wolves past, Joe looked at Eto and said"Looks like their intelligence hasn't increased as much as we thought."

"Good thing too."

"Okay let's go." Joe was about to move when he saw a muscular saber toothed tiger watching them, he was about to let go of Eto when he steeled himself and spoke, " Eto , problem, we gotta problem."

Eto looked up at him confused then he saw the expression on his face and looked in the direction of his eyes.

When he saw the tiger, his expression changed from one of fear to curiosity, he looked behind him plotting the best path of retreat then looked at Joe and said"Run to the left through the space between those two trees, he's to big so he can't pass."

They looked at the tiger who hasn't moved but was just staring at them. They they moved and the tiger pounced in them heading towards Joe, Eto turned and threw a knife at the tiger but it just hit it away with it's paw and continued charging at them, Eto and Joe had already run past the two trees, And they jumped into the water then dived deeper and deeper into the water, they raised their heads and saw the tiger sniffing the air, then lunged in the direction they had come from. They came out of the water after they were sure it was gone and started walking in another direction.

" well that was strange." Joe said as he turned to Eto.

Eto turned to look at Joe and said" I think it's cause of them moving to H.A.I and that tiger was the first one to evolve."

"I think the tiger is gonna come back."

"Yeah me too."

'Let the hunt begin.' They both thought as they looked at each other..
