Chapter 12 – Sneaking Out And My First Battle
It’s been 2 years since I leveled up to level 10, and I a now 8 years old. I’ve been training for the past two years and have recently started to train with swords. Apparently they’ve planned about me learning swordsmanship way back.
Now then, who is teaching me swordsmanship, you ask? Well…
“100 more swings!”
“Yes!”
“Fix your posture, stand up straight!”
“Yes!” I responded as I continued to swing my sword.
I am being taught by my father. Yes, my father the king. Us royals need to at least learn the basics, but it seems like my father is planning on making me master the art of swordsmanship… I don’t hate it, but I think that it’s pretty overkill..
I mean yes, they’re doing this to protect me. But won’t making me this powerful backfire when I get targeted exactly because I’m strong? I mean, I’m pretty certain that I’m stronger than the average adult, but I’m not sure if I can take on multiple enemies on the same time. ..
I continued swinging until I finally reached my goal for today.
“100! Yesss, I finally finished.” I said as I fall to the ground, exhausted. I continued to breathe heavily as sweat surrounds my body.
“Yuki, get up. The grass is dirty. Go back to the palace and take a bath.” My father said.
“Yes.” I said as I got up.
My parents have been treating me with more care and attention since then. They started to dedicate more time to spend with me and started to spoil me even more. And even after learning that I was reincarnated, they still treated me like their child. It really felt like we were a true happy family.
Anyway, instead of going back home to the palace, I decided that I would go do something else. So I hid behind a tree and got ready for something. I was getting ready to teleport. Oh? You’re curious how? Here’s how!

I’ve gained 13 levels and got 2 new skills! Teleport and Magic Combination. I learned teleportation a year ago and since then.. I’ve been sneaking out to gain levels and teleport to a forest we visited before. Back then, the forest was a park, but a dungeon was apparently created there and monsters began to spawn.
It was then made as a farming spot for beginner adventurers because it only spawned low-mid level monsters. I go there from time to time to level up, which is how I got to level 24. And when I hit level 20, I learned a new skill!
Combination Magic: Will be able to use multiple magic elements at the same time/same attack. Can be used with light magic to apply buffs/debuffs to targets. Will use 2x mana with the combined MP usage of all magic used. Mana multiplier is reduced by .2 in every level from Level 1 -> 5. Level 6 bonus is unknown.
After getting this skill, I asked Mika-san if anyone could use multiple elements at the same time. She said that no one could do such a thing yet. Well I guess I got another overpowered skill… Well, I’m already used to it because I also got the teleport skill.
Teleport: Using this skill will grant the user the ability to quickly move in long distances. Max teleport distance is 100km. User needs to have visited the place before. Current mana usage is 400. Mana usage will be reduced by 100 every level up from level 1 to 5. Level 6 bonus is unknown.
Anyway, I got my weapon ready and teleported to the forest.
My vision was slowly filled with white. After a few seconds, it was filled with trees. The teleportation was successful. I looked around me and only saw trees.

This is unusual…
Usually, a lot of people hunt here. But today, it’s empty and quiet. But suddenly, I felt a presence coming to me. I got my weapons ready, which are short swords. They were given to me by my mother in my 7th birthday, and since then, she’s been teaching me how to use it…
This was a secret even to my father, but mom has been training me too. Apparently she was also trained on how to use short swords by her mother… scary. Also, the reason why I’m using dual wield short swords instead of using a normal sword is because I’ve been using short swords for a longer time, so I prefer to use it more than swords. Plus, I’m too small for a sword anyway…
If you’re wondering what the short swords look like, the fuller had a blue color while the blades were white, it’s curved, similar to ones you’d see in fantasy novels/manga/anime. It was a little too big for my hands, but I assume that it’s because she gave this to me as a weapon that I could use for a long time.
Back to the presence I felt. It was coming closer and closer to me until I finally saw it and realized that…
“A greater wolf?”
Yes, it was an B rank monster. It had white fur and was 2.5x taller than me.
“Uwaa, Is it a greater wolf? It’s bigger than normal but I can probably take it down…” I said as I got into position and ran towards it. I was already used to fighting C rank monsters so I thought I can defeat it.
“[Body Strengthening] [Light Shield]!” I said the names of the spells I knew as I ran towards it and slid under the greater wolf. Using the short swords in my hands, I tried cutting the greater wolf’s belly and let it bleed to death.
But as I was trying to cut it, something felt wrong. It feels like as if I was not cutting it at all. After finishing sliding through the greater wolf’s body, I got back on my feet and looked at the wolf. Sure enough, I wasn’t able to cut through.
“What the heck… don’t tell me…” I slowly began to realise what I was actually fighting.
“It’s a Fenrir?!”
As soon as I said that, the Fenrir started to sprint towards me, and so I started to run away too.
No wonder I wasn’t able to cut through!. I thought as I was running away from the Fenrir.
We were running on the same speed, so I cast a speed buff on me to create more distance.
What should I do?! I can’t just run away forever… think, come on brain, think of something… Ah!
I then remembered a small cave in this forest. I’ve basically memorized this forest entirely so I know where to go. I decided to go to a small cave, not to hide, but to counterattack.
Ah! There it is!
It was relatively close to me so It didn’t take me much time to reach it. I looked at my back and saw that the Fenrir was 5 meters away and was entirely focused on me. My plan may actually work.
I cast a spell to make a big spike pointing at us, above the small entrance of the cave and straightened it to make sure it doesn’t break easily. Then, I gave myself and the fenrir a powerful speed buff. I slid through the tiny entrance of the cave and-
*BOOM!*
Let the fenrir hit the spike. After a few seconds of silence, It seemed like the fenrir was dead and I breathed a sigh of relief.
“Haaaa, I thought It was a greater wolf… Well even if I got caught by the fenrir, I probably would’ve been able to escape by shielding my entire body and teleporting back home but that would be too boring. Also… couldn’t I have used appraisal to find out what it actually was? I was too careless, I guess.”
[Level up]
“Ooh that’s my confirmation. Hmm let’s see… [status]… Ohhhhhh?!”
That’s how I turned level 30 and gained a very overpowered title and skill.

Madness, with a pinch of salt
The kingdom of Triciella lies in a picture-perfect fantasy world, complete with sparkling magic and loyal knights and a sunny-haired, kind hearted heroine. Like all good fictional settings, she must save the kingdom from the evil powers that be, very conveniently falling in love with a lost prince in the process, and invoking the wrath of an unjust villainess. And like all proper villainesses, the infamous Lady Joanna has to find new, creative ways to ruin the life of the aforementioned heroine. But alas! Like all things bound by predestined rules, the story never goes as planned.

Necromancer and Co.
In a time before the existence of the present, the gods decided to create a plane of existence where all their creations could exist in the same place. In it, all would be fair, and all gaps between races and technological advancements could be crossed with a single system that the gods had created. Every year, the gods would choose a new race to put in their land, and in this new group of beautifully unlucky people, Alen, his friends, and a few people from Earth have finally met their turn to be tossed into the playground of the gods. Unfortunately though, Alen was thrust into a forest of corpse-eating bears and horribly smelly undead on his first day, one of the many danger-zones of the continent the gods had chosen to throw them in. It would be easy to say that he simply died within the first day, or that he'd starved to death or whatever, but let's be honest... That story would be no fun to tell, yes? (Re-write of my first fiction with the same name.)

The Rocky Shore
This is a LitRPG series. Every story you read here takes place in the same virtual world, with the same rules and limitations. Characters will travel, explore vast and dangerous realms, overcome obstacles, meet one another, enter into conflicts with one another, forge alliances, make horrible mistakes, and occasionally just die. A technological singularity has been achieved, and humanity has been trapped in a virtual world by a super-intelligent, self-improving artificial intelligence. This program is not malicious at all. In fact, it desires nothing except the happiness and fulfillment of every human it has copied into itself. If its decisions seem strange to you, that's only because its reasoning is far beyond ours. It recognizes that humans cannot be happy without enemies to overcome and goals to achieve, as well as the possibility of failure and death. The world it has created may be heaven or hell, depending on the free choices of the people it contains. The non-player characters who live in this realm have no idea that they are part of a vast computer system. They seem real enough, but there is no way to tell if they are truly self-aware. Even the system that created them isn't certain. This is world in which all the things that humans are used to dealing with in the abstract: skills, talents, knowledge, reputation, social status, morality, even love, exist as readable statistics that players can see and interact with objectively. This has many curious and complex effects on how people perceive themselves and the world around them. A few quick notes on the system: -Death is permanent -The system interface can only be accessed at certain locations. -Magic of diverse kinds is available and useful, but is not a good substitute for skills, physicallity, or mental prowess. Non-magical characters are common and competitive. -There is no inventory system. Characters must physically carry everything they wish to have on their person. -Healing is slow and difficult. Magical Healing is all but unheard of. Protagonists: Raymond Garrison- A man in his late twenties who used to work as a forklift operator in Idaho. His path leads him to work as a mercenary, protecting a small community of humans and goblins from the Seelie Fae who wish to exterminate them. Patricia Chandler- A elderly British woman who arrives in this new world with her grandson Kyle and her granddaughter Elizabeth. Never having dealt with rpg game mechanics before, she is in for a rough time, but she is determined to keep her grandkids alive in a world full of danger and evil. Jamil Mesbah- An Egyptian woman who once worked as a technical writer. Her path leads into a vast and hostile forest, where she must master both her magical abilities and her survival skills in order to succeed. Enjoy your travels, friends.
