-Gabriel’s perspective-

After a few more years. I am now fourteen years old. In this pass year I’ve been only training and if I have time I bond with Barky. She seems to be having fun cause before she doesn’t say much but now, she does.

Now that I have some free time maybe I should bond with her.

“Barky, where are you?”

“Yes, master you called for me?”

“Come on let’s play”

“Yes-yes, master”

I throw the object and she instantly get it and bring it back to me.

“who’s a good girl” I said while patting the top of her face

“Yes, I am the good girl more-more” She said

She seems to love it whenever I pat her on the head, I suppose.

“Here get it for me” I said as I throw the object farther.

It seems like she went to get it.

-Aqua’s perspective-

I have to get the object I have to return it pronto

I see it. I leap forward to grab it, but I lose my grip making it bounce further.

It rolls even further.

I have to grab it, I almost got it but it keeps rolling

Ah finally it stops on someone’s foot…. Wait someone’s foot?!

I look up to see Sylphy looking at me smiling.

“Ara-ara, seems you are behaving well Aqua, or should I call you Barky instead of Aqua” she said

“What the hell are you doing here Sylphy?!”

“Why you ask, well I came here by the command of the celestial being”

“Huh, but why?”

“The celestial being commanded me to supervise on you, because the celestial being has all his attention on the demon race. That means he can’t monitor you, so he given me the order to see if you are properly doing the task given to you, but seeing Aqua I meant Barky behaving quite well. Maybe there’s no need of me being here, I will go back to report that ‘Barky’ is properly doing her task after all she’s a good girl right? I’ll be going now, take care Barky” Sylphy said as she draws a circle on mid-air creating a portal, she looks at me before leaving smiling.

What the hell have I been doing? What happen to me? No, he did this to me. He made me a laughing stock, it’s all his fault. I am going to get him for this humiliation, but I need to act as if nothing happened and cooperate until I think of something.

-Gabriel’s perspective-

She’s been gone for a long time. Did something happen to her?

Oh, I see her

Barky came back handing me the object.

“Alright time for round three” I said as I were about to throw the object

“Let’s stop for now, Master” Barky said

Stopping me from letting go of the object

“Are you tired, Barky?”

“Yes, I am tired… Master”

“Ok let’s rest for a while then Barky”

“Thank you… Master”

I can’t take it anymore, the harsh training my father letting me do. I want to go on an adventure, an adventure to defeat the Demon Lord. I am going to tell them my plans that I will go on an adventure, it’s now or never.

There’s a time where we gather all together. I am going to tell them at that time.

After time passes, they all gather to have a dinner.

Alright I need to tell them my plans I opened my mouth and said

“Mom and Dad, I will go on an adventure”

They pause on what they’re doing and look at me.

They approach me as if they are going to scold me.

Alright I am ready to get scold a lot.

I close my eyes to prepare myself.

Hmmm? I felt something warm around me as if I were being hug, it’s getting stronger I think its squeezing me as if a huge snake wraps around me and tries to squeeze me to death. I opened my eyes to see father hugging me tightly. I am losing oxygen I think I’ll die of suffocation. I need to tell him or I’ll die from this. “Dad I can’t breathe”

“Uh, sorry about that Gabriel. It’s just that we are happy to hear you wanting to go on an adventure”

“Huh, you guys aren’t mad on me wanting to go on an adventure alone”

“Mad? Nonsense why are we going to get mad if our Gabriel said he will go on an adventure. Afterall I’ve been training you, so you are prepared to go on the outside world beyond this place” Riel said.

“Even though you’re a bit younger than most people who goes on an adventure, you are a genius so age wont matter. If you are going on an adventure you should go on an Adventurer’s Guild to know what you are going do to. There are lot of task that are given to people who goes on an adventure and pay them after completing the task that are given to them, adventurers can also pick their own task if they want. Adventurer’s Guilds can mostly be found on a city, there is a nearby city east of our village” Gabi said

“Oh, I see” Gabriel Said

“So, when are you planning to go on an adventure?” ask by Riel

“Probably tomorrow morning, I’ll set out on an adventure” said by Gabriel

“Oh my, guess I need to prepare things you’ll be needing to assist you on your adventure” said by Gabi

“That’s perfect, for tomorrow the village will be sending goods at the city. I could ask the coachman to give you a lift, he’s also a close friend of mine” Riel said

“Is Big brother leaving?” ask by Gabriella.

“Yes, I’ll be going out for a while. Ill be going on an adventure and when I get back there will be lots of stories, I can tell you and perhaps I can bring back some souvenir from my adventures” I said to Gabriella

She smiled at me and said “Ok, I’ll wait for Big Brother’s return”

-Gabriel’s perspective-

After talking to my family about my plans maybe I should talk to Barky.

“Hey Barky you there?”

“Yes, I am here… master”

“We’ll be going on an adventure”

-Aqua’s perspective-

Going on an adventure? Wait that’s great that means his life will be in danger. I can just say if he died, ‘I tried to stop him from going but it’s his own choice to keep going, I didn’t have the power to stop his own will ‘. Yes, that’s a good plan the powerful celestial being will believe that.

“Oh, that’s a great plan…. master”

It makes me sick whenever I call him master, but I need to keep acting just like before meeting Sylphy. Sylphy made me realize the humiliation that I’ve been doing to myself, because of him I did all those humiliating things. I will have my revenge on this bastard.

-Gabriel’s perspective-

Good Barky agree on going on an adventure.

“Tomorrow morning we’ll be going to the nearby city. East from here, by riding a wagon heading there. After arriving we’ll be going to the adventurer’s guild to check some task and rest in an inn before accepting the task that have intrigue me. That’s the plan for now”

“Ok master” Barky said.

The dawn approaches the village where they live.

I wake up as soon as the sun went up. I fix my bed and went to the living room seeing mother preparing breakfast she notices me and said “Good morning Little Gabriel. All the things you need for your adventure is prepared, so you just need to prepare yourself for your departure. Your father went to fetch the coachman, so hurry up before they arrive”

“Yes” I replied to her

After preparing myself and the things that were prepared by mother. My father and the coachman arrive just in time. The wagon is covered on a white cloth to act as the wall and roof, the front and the back does not have a cover. It looks just like the medieval wagons on earth.

“Is this the boy you wanted me to give a lift? Are you sure sending him on the city of Eyinas?” ask by the coachman.

“This boy here is my son Gabriel. Without a doubt we want him send to Eyinas, it is his what we all agree upon on. So, you better take care of him” Riel said to the coachman

“Yes, I will do my best” replied by the coachman

I enter the back of the wagon which full of barrels of goods. The coachman lashes the horses to make it move. As the wagon moves forward, I go to the back of the wagon to wave goodbye to my family. I see them both waving back at me. Mother seems to be crying, father gave a big smile as he sends me off and I can see Gabriella still half asleep doing her best to send me off.

I am finally out of the village, the village where I grow up where I experience being an infant once more and growing to where I am today. I will definitely return one day. So, this is where my adventure begins on the other world. An adventure to save the world.
