She was about to go to Asahi's house when her phone started ringing.
It was Asahi, she picked up the phone and before she could let out a word she heard him screaming "SLEEP!.
Yui moved the phone away from her ear because the scream was too loud, she said with a confused voice "what do you mean sleep?".
Asahi immediately answered but not as loud as before "just trust me and sleep".
Yui still didn't know why he would call her just to scream at her and tell her to sleep, but she trusted him so she agreed and said "ok, I'll sleep so just stop screaming. She thought that she wouldn't be able to sleep because she didn't feel fatigued but as soon as she put her head on the pillow her vision got blurry, her eyelids and head felt heavier than anything she ever carried and she fell into a deep sleep.
After 40 minutes, she got up feeling energized to the point that she felt like she could run a marathon.
It was odd that she couldn't feel all that fatigue before she slept, but it didn't matter because she felt energized. But her happiness was but short when she heard a noise in her head *ting* and a blue window appeared in front of her.
THE HOST HAS RESERVED ENOUGH REST
SYNCHRONIZATION OF THE [SYSTEM] WILL BEGIN SHORTLY
Yui jumped and fell back from the sudden surprise, she couldn't believe what she just saw, she just stayed there with her mouth open until her phone started ringing again.
She picked up the phone and immediately said "Asahi what is this?"
Asahi then said while laughing "YES! I'm so happy you got it too, I was shocked at first too but then I remembered how I was obsessed with these kinds of things".

Asahi felt excited to see something like this in front of him, so much so that he couldn't hold in his giggles.
"Oh and choose ," said Asahi.
Yui was confused as to what he meant, but then the windows disappeared and a new one appeared.
*ting*
THE [SYSTEM] IS READY FOR SYNCHRONIZATION
_WOULD YOU LIKE TO START_
She was hesitant but she yes and hoped for the best, wasn't something someone with the title smartest in the world would do but that just showed what kind of influence Asahi had on her.
She heard the noise again and the windows started to appear in front of her.
*ting*
_COMMENCING SYNCHRONIZATION _
_SYNCHRONIZATION COMPLETE_
_ THE [SYSTEM] HAS SUCSSESSFULY BONDED WITH THE HOST_
Yui was overwhelmed by all the windows in front of her, but then said "ok, what now?.
Asahi was excited to hear her reaction and told her with a voice full of excitement "now say character window ".
After she heard that phrase she got an idea of what was happening, "character window" said Yui.
***********
Lvl: [locked]
Stats:
[locked]
Skils:
***********
Yui was quite disappointed to see that the level and stats were locked but that was to be expected as the world was still normal to a certain degree, but that didn't stop her from saying "that's lame".
"it's not lame," Asahi said, "it's awesome, we get the magic sense, and this weapon properties thingy".
Yui went silent for a while trying to think about the situation reasonably, it was weird for them to have the magic sense since the world still didn't have any magic in its atmosphere.
Normal humans don't have any control over magic but sometime after the disaster, normal human bodies couldn't handle the density of magic in the atmosphere. This caused humans to evolve to a point where their bodies could take enough magic from the air and adapt to the magic-filled atmosphere.

This change also came with a sixth sense for magic and a tiny mana pool, it wasn't nearly enough to do damage to monsters, but some people used this tiny mana pool to strengthen their bodies, even if this strengthening could only turn a normal human into an athlete it could at least help them run away from the monsters.
However, this proved useful for the artifact users, the strengthening would help their already strong bodies grow stronger and make their fighting ability even better.
They came to the conclusion that they were pumped with mana while they were sleeping.
It wouldn't help them if they ever encounter a monster but it would help them find and get the artifact.
Asahi wanted to test this weapon properties skill so he picked up a kitchen knife and thought really hard about using the skill.
there was silence when Yui heard Asahi say "HOLY SHIT!!"
