Lupa receiving the professor’s order grabbed Valarie and flung her into a wall before ignoring her and running to Eric.

At this point the snipers had failed to stop Eric who leaped up at them with all his claws in full view. The snipers froze when they saw this scene, right before Eric could get to them something smashed into his ide sending him to the ground.

Eric managed t roll to his feet and turned to look at what exactly it was that had sent him down, before him was Lupa who was making it on to her feet.

Eric: “Esther… don’t do this please. You are my sister and I refuse to fight you.”

Saying so the glow disappeared from Eric’s eyes and with it went his claws and the wolfish features his face had taken on. He stood in a defenseless position before Lupa, she seemed to understand his words as she had left her battle stance and was now just staring at Eric with a head tilt.

Seeing this, although she had yet to retract her claws, Eric assumed he was getting to her. He took slow but steady steps toward her, vigilantly watching her but even as he got close, she made no movements to attack and still remained standing in the exact same posture.

Eric smiled when he was a meter away from her, she tackled him, sending both of them rolling on the ground. Lupa ended up on top of Eric and sent her claws down at Eric’s head but he reacted quickly enough holding her arms and preventing the claws from moving an inch.

Eric: “Esther, I know you are in there. I am not going to fight you; you hear that I’m not going to fight my baby sister.”

Eric’s words fell on deaf ears, as Lupa tried to headbutt him but he avoided it pushing her to side and going on top to pin her down. Eric failed to do so though as Lupa managed to push him of her before putting her claws into his side, causing him to scream out in pain.

Eric pushed her away before his eyes took an amber glow healing his side but even so he refused to bring out his claws. Lupa on the other was not holding back and came in with a heel kick directed straight at his head but Eric managed to dodge it.

The scene continued with Lupa charging with attack after attack and Eric did nothing but dodge and block making no move to attack. Valarie who was watching this from the side felt conflicted as she watched this, on one hand she thought Eric was dumb as it was clear he was getting through Lupa and on the other hand she felt sorry for him, one could only Imagine the mental turmoil he was going through.

He lived his life thinking his sister was dead all this time only to learn she was alive and that he had left her alone in that hell when he escaped on his own, even worse his escape caused her to go through inhuman torture which deprived her of her own free will.

The professor at this time had made it to the roof and looked down to see the scene below, seeing the scene he couldn’t help but break into a grin.

Eric avoided a wide swing and moved to her back trying to put her into a hold but she was quick and flipped him straight to the ground and followed with a stomp. Her attack was stopped by Eric who grabbed her foot and sent her straight t the ground,

They both performed kick ups at the same time before Lupa charged at Eric once more, she was relentless and Eric found it harder and harder to hold back as he took attack after attack. His healing factor was working on the clock to keep up with the wounds Lupa delivered.

Eric: “Esther please remember it’s me, your big brother. I know you’ve been though a lot and I’m sorry trust me I really am, I wish I could have been there sooner… I wish you never went through all the hell you did not deserve, But I’m here now. Do you hear that Esther, I’m here and I’m not losing you again.”

Eric tried to get to Esther with his words but he was stopped by a loud sound that drew the attention of all present. Eric looked up to see a massive Helicopter underneath this helicopter was the symbol of the new order. The helicopter headed towards the side of the roof to allow for the professor to board.

Lupa seeing Eric was distracted did not miss the chance to deliver a devastating kick right to his sternum sending him rolling backwards.
