"Sometimes, I feel as if everything is futile" The man said with numbness in his words

"Crimson Rush" Sakuma screamed as his arms became bigger and broader, his torso became humongous, and his legs became tighter and muscular. His red hair grew longer and his canines were longer and sharper.

He positioned his hands like a claw, and a crimson aura engulfed them, creating big, sharp claws, which could tear through titanium.

He then rushed towards the purple monster in front of him, and started attacking its chest with his claws, there was a glow on the man's face, it appeared as if he was enjoying it to his heart's content.

"Not bad" The purple monster said as it took the attacks to his chest, "But, now it's my turn"

The monster then punched the man in front of it, launching the man a few meters away. After launching the punch, it rushed towards Sakuma to launch a second blow.

As it moved towards Sakuma, a blackish-red aura started forming around its hand and forearm, and with that arm it punched Sakuma.

After receiving the second blow to his torso, Sakuma crashed in a tree, he was all bloodied up, and he slowly started reverting to his original form. The monster then went ahead to kick Sakuma who was a meter away from it.

But suddenly it looked toward's its right, and saw a figure approaching it, and within a second its head got detached from its body.

"Final one down, now let's headback" The figure said

"Mr. Yellow?" Sakuma said softly without any life in his words

"Oh, shit" Yellow said as he turned around, "Wait, lemme patch you up"

A few minutes ago

"So, what now?" Yellow asked

"You go and kill those purple monsters" Blue told Yellow

Yellow nodded, and then disappeared

"Now, miss, what was your name again?" Blue asked

"Marionna, but what does it matter to a weakling like you" The monster said

"Well you see, Marionna, you are already dead" Blue said before rushing towards the monster

The monster smirked and rushed towards Blue, with what appeared to be some kind of net made up of the black strings, in her hands.

Blue swinged the saber in his right hand, trying to create an opening, but the net caught the saber. With a battle smirk on his face, Blue struck the monster with his left saber, resulting in Marionna's retreat.

Blue, who had freed his hand from the net, stood next to Carolina. "Can you launch your fire towards her from a distance? Like a beam of fire?"

"Yeah" Carolina nodded

"Attack her when I tell you to" Blue said as he disappeared

He then appeared above Marionna, and moved his leg to kick her, but before he could, his leg got tied with the black string, and using this string, Marionna thrashed blue making him land a few meters away. The strings went back to Marionna.

Blue sighed as he got up

"I can control these string in any manner I want, they will follow you till your death" Marionna shouted before sending the strings towards Blue

"Thanks for the info" Blue said

"Welcome, but you will soon die, so it doesn't matter"

"We will see"

Blue slashed the strings, but they just kept coming towards him. He kept retreating step by step,

while slashing the strings, no matter how much he cut them, they just kept growing.

Marionna had a very simple plan, she would first exhaust Blue, then attack him with a large horde of monster. She was confident enough to just stand there with her guard down.

"I guess, I spoke too soon" Blue said while struggling against the strings

"What can a weakling like you even do" Marionna said

There was a feint smile on Marionna's face, she felt ecstatic on seeing Blue feel oppressed. Her long, sharp canine were visible through her smile.

Suddenly, she felt a sudden outburst of warmth behind her, she quickly reacted and turned around to only see a sea of blue flames. The area the fire occupied was so vast that Marionna couldn't dodge it, she had to take it.

Blue took this opportunity to get away from the strings.

After taking the fire attack straight to her face, she was in a bad shape, some part of her body was burnt, and some parts of her body bled heavily. "You insignificant piece of trash" Marionna screamed. She looked at Carolina who stood in front of her with a grin on her face.

Marionna who was furious, charged towards Carolina with full speed, and in a split second appeared just in front of Carolina

Blood spattered, and just like that, Carolina got stabbed with the monster's sharp nails

Blue was away from the scene, and couldn't reach to save Carolina in time, on seeing Carolina getting stabbed he screamed, "Carolina!" while rushing towards her

Carolina who was in immense pain, took this chance to grab Marionna's hands, and then she softly said, "Blaze". Her hands got covered with blue fire, and with this fire, she scorched Marionna's hand

"You bitch!" Marionna screamed in agony, while she tried to free her hand from Carolina

After struggling for a few seconds, she finally freed her hand and retreated a few meters away. But, the damage was already done, her right arm, it was completely blackened because of the heat, it was as black as a block of coal. It didn't even look like an arm anymore.

Carolina spat out blood, before she fell down.

"You can't die now, I will make you feel what hell feels like!" Marionna said while looking towards Carolina

Blue was finally near Carolina, he looked at Carolina with numbness in his eyes

Suddenly, Yellow appeared behind Blue and said, "I did the job"

"Get the healer" Blue said seriously

"What?" Yellow said

"Get the fucking healer" Blue yelled

After hearing this, Yellow disappeared, and a second later appeared on the same spot with the healer wrapped around his arm.

"Heal her" Blue said coldly while looking at Marionna in front of him

The chestnut healer quickly started healing Carolina

"The strongest person is here, I have been waiting for you" Marionna said while looking towards Yellow

"Strongest? Uh- I mean, yeah I am the strongest and all, but I'd conside-" Yellow said while stuttering, but was interrupted

"Whatever! Let's start" Marionna said as she formed a lot of black strings using her left hand, in a second these strings started to approach Yellow and Carolina

Blue kept slashing all the strings which came towards Carolina, while Yellow used his speed to evade all the strings and then slash them after making distance. After a while the strings just went back to Marionna and disappeared, she again formed the strings and sent them towards her targets

Blue and Yellow looked towards each other, and some kind of thought connection happened between them, and both of them nodded

Yellow kept running around the forest, he was not teleporting like he normally does, instead he just ran, not too slow, not too fast, but enough for the strings to easily follow him. He ran in very random directions, around the trees, through the bushes, through the pile of monster carcasses, it looked as if he was just running mindlessly to save himself.

"You have finally started to exhaust yourself? Isn't that right?" Marionna said with a smile on her face. The strings which were previously trying to attack Carolina, now got re-routed towards Yellow, putting more pressure on him.

After a while, the strings stopped following Yellow, and Marionna tried to call back the strings, but they didn't com back, it was as if they were stuck somewhere. She tried very hard to pull back the strings, but they just didn't comeback, "So, that's all you could do? I can just cut off the strings?"

Before she could cut off the strings, a tree near her fell down, followed by numerous more trees, and suddenly her strings came back to her, these string got wrapped around her and bound her.

"What's happening" Marionna said

"Your strings just fucked you up instead" Yellow said

"Well, you see, when your strings followed him, he made sure that these strings go all the way around the trees, let's call that a circle, so when I cut the trees, the whole circles of all the trees, they attract towards the center, which are you, so basically you are now binded by your own strings" Blue said confidently

Marionna looked at Blue with her eyes wide open, she was a little surprised by the plan her enemies had forged. But she keep her calm and said, "You have got me by the balls, but what can you even do? I will just attach my body back together"

Blue took a deep breath and said "I had that in mind, but I am pretty sure, you feel pain, how's that for a plan? We will just stab you, until you just give up, and die?". There was a dark smile behind his mask.

"Bro, that would take an eternity, and she might not even give up" Yellow said

A small smile appeared on Marionna's face on hearing Yellow's words. "See, even he knows that you guys can't do shit to me"

"I never said that-" Yellow said but was interrupted by Blue

"Then, why don't we just electrocute her, with lightning? Let's just burn her too death" Blue said in a cold tone

"Okay, let me set up my knife" Yellow said as he started walking towards the female monster. He placed one of his daggers just in front of Marionna, who was on her knees. "Now then" Yellow said loudly after walking away from Marionna

Yellow raised his arm towards the black sky, and suddenly a cluster of dark, black clouds started forming above them. The sound of loud and terrifying thunders could be heard by everyone in the forest. Yellow sparks started appearing around his hand, and his eyes started glowing.

"No, no, don't" Marionna said hastily, while Blue just stood with his arms crossed in front of Carolina who was getting healed

"Let's start, ENLIGHTINING YOU!" Yellow said coldly in a loud voice, as he abruptly lowered his arm. Immediately after he lowered his hand, a barrage of lighting struck the ground around the dagger.

"No!" Marionna screamed

The lightning barrage ended, a dark layer of smoke appeared because of it, and it also formed a huge crater.

Blue coughed as he said, "You have improved"

"Yeah, you think so?" Yellow asked in the same manner as a child asking his parents for compliments

"Very slightly. You have improved, very slightly" Blue said, crushing Yellow's hopes

Yellow looked at Blue for a few seconds before looking away. He felt sad.

"Whatever, I saved the day, now let's go home" Yellow said

"You are not going to pass out?" Blue asked

"What?" Yellow said, before suddenly dropping on the floor and passing out

"You will never stop running out of energy? Will you?" Blue said as he looked at Yellow with mild disappointment in his eyes

Then he picked up Yellow, placed him on his shoulders, and began moving, but he heard a voice, and his eyes widened as he stopped.

"Where are you going?" A familiar voice came from behind of Blue

Blue dropped Yellow, and turned around. The smoke in front of him slowly disappeared to reveal a very frightening sight.

Marionna who should have died by the lightning, was in the crater, walking towards Blue.

She held her fedora in her hands, and the black strings were being produced from the fedora. On a closer look, blue also noticed that Marionna's imprints had decreased substantially.

"How?" Blue muttered
