Jimin's POV
"It's so pretty here". I said, while walking in Seonghwa's garden. "I wonder why he didn't tell us that he was a gang leader". I wondered and I heard voices. "Hmm?". I walked over to them and I saw some of Seonghwa's men drinking. "Boss is always concerned about that Jimin fellow". A man said. "True... It pisses me off".
'Huh?'. My eyes widened. 'Right... I'm just another baggage to them'. My mood quickly went down and I turned around to go back to my room.
I went back on my room with a heavy heart. "I'm a bother to everyone". I said. "Seonghwa shouldn't be worrying about me, he has a WHOLE gang to look after". I said. I went to the closet and grabbed all my things and stuff them in a bag. "I don't want to be a bother anymore". I wrote a letter to Seonghwa and left the mansion.
"Ha". I collapsed on the bed and stared at my phone. It took Seonghwa a half a hour to realize I was gone and he's been calling me ever since. "I'm sorry Seongie". I said and watch the call end. "I'll stay in this hotel til I can figure out what to do about that asshole". I clicked my tongue just thinking about him.
"Maybe I can find something on his last name". I picked my phone and typed the name Min in. "No results found?". I say shocked. "That can't be right". I typed the name in again and got the same result. "Let's try Seonghwa". I typed in Seonghwa's name. "No results found". I blinked. "My head hurts". I sighed and my phone rings.
"Hello?". I picked up accidently. "Where the hell are you Jimin!?!". "Seonghwa". I said. "I know you seen my calls! Where the fuck did you go!?!". "I'm sorry, but I had to leave". I told him. "Who the fuck told you that!?!". "I was bothering you... Didn't you read my letter?". I asked. "I burned that shit". "Listen...". "No you listen!".

"I don't know where you heard that you were a bother but you weren't! You're my friend Jimin and I would do anything to help you, so can you trust me a little bit more... Please". "I... ok". I said. "Thank you, now tell me...". "I'm sorry Seongie but I will deal with this myself". I said. "Jimin! You...". "You know I put you all above myself and y'all think it's a problem but it's not".
"I will never forgive myself if anything happens to y'all, so I'm sorry Seongie and thank you for protecting me". I said. "Jimin! Wait!". I hung up and broke my phone into pieces.
"Sorry love".

Outlook: The Stars (Consciousness Unbound Book 1)
The year is 2152. Rune Yahui is a nineteen-year-old failure, not having gained entrance to college or the military, with no significant prospects in life. Even worse, Rune is the poorest of the poor, hailing from the mega-slums of New Southern Chicago, the lowest pit of America. In a desperate last-ditch attempt to gain a future more lustrous than toiling the rest of his days away in abhorrent conditions in one of the near sweat-shop level factories that dot the megapolis, Rune signs up for the Virtual Citizen program, a program to cull the excessive world population by transferring just their brains into a video game. In a stroke of rare luck, Rune is admitted into the program and happily submits himself to the surgery and digitization process. Unfortunately for him, he wakes up several hundred years later than he expected... or does he? **Author's Note** This isn't a type of story typical to RRL. You may have noticed LitRPG in the tags, but it's a relatively minor element in the story until later. You may also notice Slice of Life is in the tags. This story is going to be slow and there won't be any power tripping until way later if at all. The focus will be on character development. That doesn't mean I won't still have action/excitement, however. I encourage you to give the story a try. Maybe it will be your thing, maybe it won't. Thanks for even taking the time to read this, and if you do give my fiction a try, I hope you enjoy it. If you don't, well, I hope you find something that you do enjoy. Happy reading!

In The Tall Grass
Elizabeth Wilson commits suicide. She was the golden girl among her peers in Darkwood, Washington who stood above the pressure of her drug-ridden town. Explore the summer before her senior year that triggered the domino effect of Elizabeth's emotional and psychological breakdown that lead her to take her own life. This is the prequel to the main story, Petrichor and was never intended to be made. I wrote this because I wanted to explore Elizabeth's character and show how the main characters have changed since this event. I decided to release this first because Petrichor is undergoing a full rewrite. In the meantime, I'm writing a side story called Mourning Glory that takes place between the second and third act of Petrichor. Development is going rather fast so I suggest to to read that if you like this story
