'Why did I follow him here again?'. I thought to myself while I saw him looking at the menu. "Umm". I said and he looks up at me. "I'm sorry". He bows. "My name is Taehyung". He smiles at me. "I know". I sipped my champagne and watch his face turn in surprise. "Ho-how do you know?". Taehyung asked.
"Heard him talking to you over the phone one day". I explained. "I see". Taehyung looks down. "I... Umm... I'm sorry". Taehyung said. "For?". I raised my brow. "For ruining your relationship". Taehyung said. "But... But I swear! I didn't know about you!". Taehyung says. "He told me he was single". Taehyung said. "So, I am sor... ".
"You weren't the only one he was sleeping with". I cut him off. "I'm sorry?". Taehyung says surprised. "You weren't the only one he was sleeping with". I repeated. "If I remember correctly... You're number four". I said. "What?". Taehyung growled. "So I don't know why you're apologizing to me for, I didn't blame you for anything".
"Yo-you didn't?". Taehyung's eyes widened. "You thought I blamed you this whole time?". I asked them giggled. "You are adorable". I said and Taehyung blushed. "Please don't tease me". Taehyung said. "I'm a tease, I have to pass it on to others". I smiled. "Well... I'm Jimin, nice to officially meet you". I held out my hand.
"Hi Jimin!". Taehyung happily takes my hand and shakes it cheerfully. 'Lot of energy this man has'. I giggled to myself. "So, have you seen Kookie around?". Taehyung asked. "The fucks a cookie?". I ask. "Jungkook". Taehyung says. "Eww... You named it?". I gagged. "Eh? You didn't?". Taehyung tilts his head. "Now why would I waste my time?".

Taehyung stares at me for a while. "What did you call him?". Taehyung asked. "Depends". I said. "In his face or behind his back?". I said and Taehyung laughed. "Is there a difference?". Taehyung ask. "Nope". I said and we laughed. "And to answer your question, he's been stalking me and begging me to give him another chance".
"What!?!". Taehyung jumps up for his chair. "You... Like him?". I covered my mouth. "Fuck no!". Taehyung yells. "That little dick bastard!". Taehyung slams his fist on the table. "Pff". I grinned. "Cheers". I raised my glass. "Umm... On what?". Taehyung ask, but still grabs his glass.
"On a beautiful new friendship".

The Elemental Arena
*A Rational-Adjacent litRPG Survival Series.* The time for the trials has come, pitting the mortal species of the galaxy against one another. By completing challenges, clearing dungeons, and defeating rival species, the players may forge themselves stronger and smarter. But only one species will be declared the winner. Earth has finally qualified... ...and participation is mandatory. A twenty-nine year old data entry clerk works together with a group of internationally diverse players to survive. Learning synergistic skills and using teamwork, can humanity achieve an upset? If they don't, their lives are forfeit. Author's note: Chapters will be anywhere from 6k to 10k in words, varying based on the plot beats instead of specific word counts. Realistic actions and teamwork will be important aspects of my story. I'm trying something a little different in writing a realism focused litRPG, hoping to capture the essence of how real people would react to their situation. People are complex and don't always get along. I don't recommend starting the series expecting wish fulfillment tropes just because it's tagged litRPG. It's a survival story with the game settings on Hell difficulty. The plot hasn't gotten there yet, but in the future of the series I want to recreate my nostalgia of forty person raids on Ragnaros, but with the high stakes of boss battles in Sword Art Online. I also love puzzle rooms so expect one of those each book. Warnings: mild PG-rated language, graphic violence and gore, and graphic medical content.
