I brought my knees to my chest and hugged my legs. 'This is just a dream Jimin... This isn't real Jimin... He's fine Jimin'. I told myself while I rock back and forth. "Yoongi's safe and sound Jimin... Moonbyul doesn't have him... You wouldn't let them fight her if she had him". I said, while letting my tears fall.
I was to busy letting my sorrows eat me alive that I didn't know someone was standing in front of me til I felt someone pat me on my head. "
I looked up and saw Yoongi. I grabbed his hand and it was warm. "Are you going to answer me?". Yoongi asked. "You". I said. "Huh?". Yoongi said. "YOU IDIOT!". I started hitting him. "What the hell did I do!?!". Yoongi yells. "I hate you! I hate you so much!". I covered my face and start crying again.
"Hey, hey... What's wrong?". Yoongi hugs me. "I...*hic* I thought I lost you". I choked out. "I went to get some food". Yoongi says. "The men didn't tell you that?". Yoongi ask and I shook my head. "Yoongi growls and hugs me tighter. "I'm so sorry Jimin". Yoongi says and kissed my head.
"Get off me". I pushed him away. "Making me worry". I huffed. "I'm sorry". Yoongi said. "You owe me SO many cuddles and ice cream". I puffed out my cheeks. "Ok". Yoongi smiled and a shoe hits him in his head. "Yoongi!". I gasp. "YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!!!".
"Ji... Eek!". I ducked from Jin's other shoe and it hits Yoongi in his face. "Oh my gosh! Are you ok!?!". I asked. "You moved!". Yoongi yells at me. "You deserve it though". I innocently tilt my head. "Making Jimin waste his tears on you for a cheeseburger!?!". Jin shouted. "Actually, I got...". "I DON'T GIVE A RATS ASS WHAT YOU GOT!".

"Jin? Why are you...". Hoseok sees Yoongi and gave him a dark glare. "You motherfucking HEARTBREAKER!". Hoseok screamed. "Jung, watch your wo...". "Making the bride cry over your short ass! I should beat your ass!". Hoseok shouts. "Hoseok shu...". "No... No... FUCK YOU!". Hoseok barks.
"You don't deserve the bride with your cat looking ass! Your white out head ass!". Hoseok yells. "Get him baby!". Jin cheers. "Bride! Good news! Yoon...". Namjoon came from around the corner and glared at Yoongi. "Oh! So you were just playing with the bride's feelings!". Namjoon nods. "I didn't do...". "No! Fuck you!". Namjoon yelled.
"Why won't y'all let me tal...". "Come on bride, let's get you home". Namjoon said. "Thank you". I smiled at him. "We can have a friend day and talk about your bitch ass ex". Jin pats my shoulder. "Ex? What ex?". Yoongi hissed and Jin scoffed. "You got two bitch ass ex's now... I'm so sorry". Jin said. "It's ok". I giggled.
"What?". Yoongi whines. "To the Hobimobile!". Jin says and drags me away. "I hat... ". "You're walking home". Hoseok and Namjoon says and left Yoongi alone in the hallway. "The hell?". Yoongi blinks.
"FIRED! ALL OF YOU!".

The Deathseeker [Under Revision]
NOTE: This story has dark elements, but it's neither grimdark nor particularly edgy. It's also currently being revised. Satan's Axe...Lord of High Honor...The Immortal Giant...The Black Maelstrom...Son of Thunderfield...The Gods' Retribution. Dalric had many names. None were as fitting as his last, Dalric the Deathseeker. Born from an unwanted mating between the greatest warriors of the time, death was his only true kin. It birthed him, molded him, and now standing in the middle of a lifeless battlefield, it drenched him. The blood of thousands of soldiers soaked his skin. Two hundred thousand men approached him that day. All of them sought his life, none of them left with theirs. But they would not die in vain, they had accomplished their mission. Hidden beneath a thousand layers of their blood, was Dalric's very own. Feeling his life fade, he gazed weakly at his work. A seemingly endless array of corpses laid battered and disfigured before him. Some bore faces of horror, most had no face at all. His most trusted companion floated in front of him, blocking the view. Waves of sorrow flowed between them. “My time has finally come. I’ve begged for death and it’s finally arrived. My work is done...and so is yours. You’re free to be who you were meant to.” With his contract with the gods fulfilled, they were truly free. The centuries of torment would end. No longer would they have to walk the path of a monster. Little did Dalric know, the devil was in the details. What To Expect: A good time. In a few more words than that, a cast of believable characters in a unique world dealing with conflicts and problems a little bit more complex than punching the big evil guy in the face. Just a little though. Minimum Word Count a Week: 5000 Release Time(s): Between Friday 12pm EST and Monday 6am EST I also write A King in the Clouds

Things take a turn for the worse when a dismembered body is discovered in the lake that feeds the park's attractions, and the whole staff becomes convinced that they are the murderer's next target. Shaman
*** Let's get this clear now: the MC is a trans woman. This is not a gender-bender. It's set in a fantasy world but the exploration of identity and gender is reality-based. Not a joke, not a kinky turn-on. If this is a problem for you, please just act like an adult and look elsewhere for something to read. *** Rating breakdown, since that should be public info: 2 x 5*, 1 x 4.5*, 1 x 3*, no reasons offered. A human shaman and healer returns from several years with the mysterious shyani, accompanied by her shapeshifting puma best friend. A valued friend, from her previous identity as a male student physician, has acquired an old shyani book, and extremists will not tolerate its presence in human hands. But back in human lands, the question arises: which world does she belong in? Generations ago, human explorers found a continent inhabited by an utterly alien culture of shapeshifting weyres and the shyani, humanoids who prefer dusk and dawn. A truce of sorts was eventually reached: humans claimed the rich lowlands, and the shyani and weyres retain the highlands. Along the border, practicality often rules, but on either side, old grudges linger in some hearts. As a student physician, Corin tried to take his own life, unable to bear the countless tiny wounds inflicted over twenty-one years of lying to himself in order to be, or pretend to be, socially acceptable. At the last improbable instant, intervention came, in the form of a spirit fox, who led him away from the existence he’d known in the lowlands and into the highlands. There, a puma weyre rescued him, and a shyani shaman helped him find his true self and offered a rebirth, a life with no more lies, and an important role to fill. Now a shaman and healer in her own right, Vixen who was once Corin learns that the one human who mattered to her in her previous life, then a fellow University student, has come into possession of an old shyani book, and the more fanatical shyani and weyres will stop at nothing to reclaim it and punish Jared. Even though it means going back into the lowlands and facing Jared as a woman, she can’t bear to just look the other way. This should be a short visit, just long enough to see the book into the proper hands and make sure Jared will not be killed for having it, and then she can return to the shyani community that has accepted her as their shaman. And, of course, her feline best friend Dayr insists on coming with her. But Jared is now a Lord, with considerable wealth and power, and his response to her presence isn’t one she expected. After years living with the shyani, she sees everything around her from a new perspective, and that makes it difficult to keep to the plan of making as few waves as possible. As an honoured guest in a highborn house, with only Jared aware that she has ever been anyone else, Vixen finds herself questioning where she belongs: with Dayr and the shyani, who accept her gender without question but have to make allowances for her differences, or with humans, in the culture she grew up in even though her past would mean a major scandal? *** Trigger warning: there are scenes of Vixen's previous life, which include some difficult moments and culminate in an (obviously unsuccessful) attempt at suicide before she finds her true self and a better life. Please be careful! This is the ONLY reason for the "Traumatising Content" tag.*** Complete stand-alone novel, 96K words. Also available on Scribble Hub and as a free ebook.
