《NeverlandsPsycho | PeterPan》Twelve:TargetPractice

Once again Pan snook out during the night, only this time, Hermione remained in the treehouse. She couldn't be bothered to torment The Saviour and her family, so she decided to wait up for the Lost Boy, instead of going with him.
-------------
"You didn't have to wait up for me love." Hermione shook her head, her eyes drooping ever so slightly. "What did you do?" Pan joined her on the small wooden bed. "Congratulated Emma, she finally accepted who she really is." Hermione sighed, leaning her head onto the boys shoulder. "An Orphan." Pan nodded. "Now come on, get some sleep." within an instant the girl entered slumber, Peter Pan watching over her, ensuring she was safe.
-----------
Hermione entered the darkness of the cold morning, grabbing a bow and some arrows from Peter's bedside before leaving the boy to his rest. The Lost Girl made her way out into the woods. She began shooting at anything and everything. Target practice during the early hours of the morning became her routine.
She continued the practice over and over, not missing a single shot. Upon hearing Pan's bird call, Hermione made her way back to camp. Picking up her pace as she saw the boys all crowded around each other.
"Morning boys." she sung as she pushed her way to the front of the crowd. Joining Peter's side. she witnessed the boy throw an apple towards Henry. "I don't like apples," the truest believer said, not wanting to touch the fruit. "Who doesn't like apples?" Hermione asked as she dropped the bow and picked up the fruit. She slowly turned and began to walk away hearing Henry saying, "It's a family thing."
Hermione joined Felix next to the fire. Taking a bite out of the apple as she sat. "Morning, Scarface." She watched as Felix smirked, "Morning Psycho." he seemed proud, obviously because he had created a nickname for the girl. "How original." Hermione laughed as she took another bite from the apple.

"Well luckily they aren't for eating." Hermione turned towards Pan as he held another apple. "It's for a game." He sent the girl a look, "A really fun game." Pan held up the bow and arrow, Hermione had left by his side. "I call it target practice."
Hermione smirked as she saw Henry at arrow point, she still wasn't impressed with how her own father was here to rescue the boy. "What's that?" Hermione took it upon herself to answer the question, "That's dreamshade." she replied as Pan dipped the tip of the arrow into the poison. "Kills people after a slow and painful time." She watched as Peter drew the poison coated arrow, "We have a story here about a man that shot an apple from his son's head. Let's find out if it's possible." Henry glanced at Hermione before going back to the arrow, "If your shooting at the apple what's the poison for?" "Motivation not to miss, obviously." Hermione said as she grew impatient.
"Felix!" Pan shouted, capturing the blonde's attention. "Get over here!" Hermione smirked, she knew exactly what this game was, and she couldn't wait. "Is F-Felix. Is his aim good?" Hermione looked up at the tall boy who wore a grin. "Well, he's good, but not as good as me." the brunette joked, "But that doesn't matter." She said looking at the arrow. Pan continued. "Your the one doing the shooting."
Hermione set off the chants. Repeating "Shoot" over and over again as Henry pointed the arrow towards Felix and the apple that was now balanced on his locks. "Trust yourself. Go on." Pan said before joining in with the chant. He stepped up next to Hermione raising an eyebrow at the scene as he did. "It's exhilarating!" Felix had also joined in with the chant. Hermione's eyes flashed back and forth from her friend and the new boy. In all honesty she wanted something to go wrong. She wanted blood to spill. But not Felix's. Hermione squealed with excitement as she watched Henry, waiting for the arrow to be released.

As Pan pointed towards Felix, the chants dropped. The Lost Boys and Girl silently waiting. Within seconds, the arrow was released, but not towards Felix, towards Pan. Like every other time, the boy in green caught the arrow as it was centimetres away from his chest. The lost boys roared, and Hermione sighed. "I wanted blood." She muttered, causing Felix to laugh as he joined her. "Told you it was exhilarating, now come on I have something to show you!" Hermione watched as Pan and Henry walked away from the group. Leaving the roaring crowd of boys behind.
