As the group made their way out of the echo caves, Hermione noticed that sunset would be approaching shortly. She picked up her pace, "Hermione?" She turned at the voice. "Where are you going?" She shook her head, "I need to see him Dad. I'm sorry." She rushed into the woods.
Hermione ran as fast as her small legs would take her, the shouts from her father and the group soon faded and all the girl could hear was the wind in her ears as she ran. As she ran she could hear the lost boys, and for some odd reason they were chasing her. Hermione slowed her pace, knowing the boys probably thought she was an intruder.
Shortly after she was tackled. Hermione groaned as she hit her head on a rock, feeling the cold blood run down to her cheek. She rolled over, wincing at the pain. Devin was crouched over her. Hermione didn't do anything. She just lay there confused at why Devin, a fellow lost boy had attacked her. "Devin, get off her!" The boy stood up brushing the dirt from his hands as he did. Hermione balanced on her hands as she stared back at the group of boys. "'Mione your head." Hermione shrugged, "It's blood Felix, get over it." The lost boy helped her up, holding her upright until she got her balance. "Pan and I were so worried. Where have you been?" Felix asked. The girl sighed. "Where is Peter?" she asked urgently. "He was showing Henry skull rock, they should be back at camp now though." without giving the lost boys a valid answer at where she had been she darted off.
Hermione had to stop every so often, the dizziness from her head injury affecting her severely. The girl stumbled as she got closer to the camp. Peter's shouts of worry about the girl getting louder as she neared. The lost boys had gotten to the camp before her.

"Well I want you to go back out there and find her!" Hermione stood in the clearing. Peter's voice loud as he instructed the boys to go and find her. "No need Pan." Hermione heard Thomas say as he pointed in her direction. She smiled as Peter ran towards her. Hugging her as he reached her. "Let's go get that cleared up." He mumbled pointing to her injury. "I need to tell you something." Hermione said, out of breath slightly. "Whatever it is can wait love." She shook her head. "It can't." "It can." Peter ignored her protests as he picked her up and took her to his cabin.
Hermione sat in Peter's cabin as he rested his hand on her forehead. "Peter." She said as he healed her. "Listen please." He looked her in the eyes. "What is it love?" The petite girl let out a shaky breath, "I,I helped Emma, find Neal." She watched as Peter shook his head. "I'm sorry, I am but I felt like I had to, and I forgave my dad. I forgave him when I first saw him actually." Peter's hand now rested on Hermione's cheek, his eyes hadn't left hers. "And I can't hear your pipe. Just so you know." The two sat in silence for a long time, staring at each other. "I know." Peter finally said, "I knew." Hermione furrowed her brows, "You did?" The lost boy nodded, "Then why aren't I dead? You kill people that betray you Peter, why am I an acception?" The boy closed the gap between the two. Their lips moved in sync. Hermione allowed a tear to escape her eye during the kiss, a salty taste falling onto Peter's lips. "Your an acception, because I love you." Hermione gave him a weak smile, "I love you too." The lost boy held her tightly. "And I can't lose you, Hermione. Even if your not a lost girl." Hermione looked at the boy, kissing his cheek, "Even if I can't hear the music Peter, I'll forever be a lost girl."

The Yes-Mage
Plenty of people have stopped and asked what it'd be like to simply have everything, and Sylvain Henry Camille Johansson was no different. He was a man who had a lot of things going on, with a name that'd make a supervillain blush and a family who'd make even the useless of their rank into someone important. It was a shame, then, that he was slapped with a dreadfully unfortunate condition that kept him from living up to any of those already low expectations. Stuck living a life where magic is everywhere while he's left working with nothing more than a moderate intellect, a little bit of whatever influence he could get from his family, and a lifetime's practice at making himself the ideal subordinate for his bosses' boss, Vane was still beating the odds and slowly working his way up in the world. When the cunning yes-man finally got a chance to really make a name for himself, he leapt at the offer, taking his first real step onto a road he knew he was always meant to walk. His goal? Nothing less than finding out why he and too many other unfortunate souls are barred from the wonderful world of the higher energies, and with any luck, fixing it. Of course, life has a knack for interfering in even the humblest of plans, and Vane's lofty ideals were anything but humble; he was practically a walking bullseye for disaster. The funny thing about catastrophe, though, is that nobody can ever say what form it's going to take. That’s why, when it all went wrong for Vane, he'd gotten everything he'd ever wanted foisted onto him, and Everything else, too. Watch as a man so used to saying 'yes' to everyone above him finds himself stuck with the power to make reality itself say it back.
