Continuation from last chapter only.

Xavier's P.O.V.

"XAVIER WILLIAMS HOW COULD YOU MARRY WITHOUT ME KNOWING" and with that Jason, glaring at me with red eyes approached me. Who told him? Arghhh!

"Hello to you too Jason" I said to him in a sarcastic manner and then I ignored him.

"Mr Brown, leave documents here on my desk. I'll read them on my own. Talk to my Assistant on our way out about payment details" He nodded and go straight out of my chamber leaving me and Jason alone.

"What was that?" God, not now!!

"I hired him to investigate all about my soon to be bride" I simply answer him.

"So you're really getting married and why didn't you tell me?" He said crossing his arms on his chest.

"Of course I'm getting married and I was about to tell you but... By the way, who told you?"

"Your mother, of course she was talking to my mum, and mom told me about it" So they're already on way to viral this news so I can't back up. I nodded.

"So who's the girl?" So he's interested in her now, not in shouting...

"You'll be glad to know her... She's... none other than Susan" I saw his mouth go wide open.

"Susan- as in Susan Joseph one you kissed at the ball??" I nodded

"But why? We plan on enjoying our bachelor life to fullest and now you are backing off??!!"

"If you were in my shoes you would have done same".

"I can't believe it. I mean, how can you get all these good, beautiful, wealthy women always." I just shrugged my shoulders.

"Then, don't believe I didn't ask you to."

"Come with me, lets go out tonight"

"Sorry Jason I can't, I have dinner with her family tonight." It's not an excuse it's the truth.

"You're over now, I got it, I got it! " He fake cried. I roll my eyes at him.

"You are looking so beautiful." My mom gushes out. I decided to wear a black mermaid gown. My hairs are tied in a fishtail braid leaving few flicks of my hairs from front left out. I'm wearing matching black glossy stilettos.

"Thank you mum." I replied I am mad at my parents and they know it.

"Look at this, I brought Xavier the platinum ring which you will slid in his finger tonight." In their dreams ha-ha. Both of us are not ready to get married and according to deal with papa I'm free if he said No which he will.

"If he said yes, which he won't, " I gave her a playful grin.

"He will, I'm sure. But don't you forget you agreed if he said yes you'll marry to him without being in denial. We give you a chance to find your true love, just like you wanted because of those Disney movies. And since, you learned your lesson well, I want you to let us try once. " Not again, I remembered that already.

"Come on, let's go we don't want to be late now do we?" Then I made my way out of my room lastly picking up my Silver clutch. I'm wearing diamond Studs and an eye-catching, beautiful diamond necklace.

I hop inside the sleek silver limousine at last mom and dad are already seated. When I sat I saw mom and dad doing the happy dance in their mind, you know, like they expect him to say yes. I already talked to him, he said he will say no.

So I'm relaxed. After around 30 minutes or more we reach our destination where my dreams will be fulfilled and my parents dream will be broken.

Victor opens the door for us first dad exit, then mom and lastly me. We are in front of the very classic hotel. It's new I guess because I didn't ever visit here. We got inside and soon guided to the table where Mr and Mrs Williams are already seated with Xavier beside his dad. Xavier was looking quite handsome in grey tuxedo I must say it suits him. He combed his hairs at backward direction.

Unfortunately, I got my seat right in front of him. It was a rectangular table.

"Hope we didn't, came too late." Mom said.

"Of course not, we just arrived few minutes ago." Mrs Williams replied.

Soon they all started conversations about different issues and it feels like matter of marriage is being forgotten. Leaving only me and Xavier to be the awkward people at the table who can't talk. I don't know what to say, it's weird to me I guess.

"You look good in that gown" I look here and there is he saying that to me? It's Xavier, who said it.

"Thanks Xavier you don't look bad at yourself too." I smile a little while replying. It would be rude if I didn't reply back, right?

"What would you all like to order for a drink?" A handsome boyish waiter came to our table.

"White wine for ladies and we all will have whiskey" Mr Williams order for everyone. I hate drinking it'll bring problem in the form of throbbing headache to me and worst part I can't refuse. :( *sigh*

"Wait! Don't bring three flutes of white wine, bring two and one Chocolate milk shake for her." Suddenly Xavier spoke up gesturing his hand in my direction. I can see from my peripheral vision that my mom and his mom in awe with his simple action.

With that waiter left nodding.

"Thanks for saving me from throbbing headache which I would have suffered in the morning." I told him truthfully.

"My pleasure." He replied instantly smiling.

The waiter came back with our drinks few minutes later. I was in middle of sipping my delicious chocolate milkshake. When...

"As both of you both know why we are here tonight already. I would like to know your answer Xavier, as we all know Susan's already." My dad started I know what he'll say. So, I look at him, but something is really weird cause he gave me an expression which I can't understand and stand confidently. Also, both of our moms took out small velvet boxes from their clutches.

"You see everyone I was shocked at first when you all said about this arrange marriage thing. But later I realize I can give it a chance. Also, after all I came to know about Susan she sounds like a wonderful woman. So, YES, I will marry her, I will fulfil all your dreams." He gave me a prince charming look like, I'm his Cinderella. He smoothly took out the ring from the box, then with just three simple steps he was in front of me. I locked my eyes on his grey ones.

He looks at me with the determination and then he took my cold hand slowly in his warm one and slide shiny diamond ring on my finger. That moment was so quick that I don't know how to react. I was too stunned with his words that, I don't know what to say, and how to say no. How could he do this with me? We decided to refuse the proposal.

On the other hand I can hear our parents' comments distinctly saying

"I'm proud of you my son, I knew you wouldn't let me down." Says his Dad

"Welcome to family, I always know you're a smart boy" Says my dad.

"Omg Xavier, I love your decision so much." Says his mom

"I'm happy to have you as my son-in- law. Susan is a lucky girl." Says my mom.

I slowly look up and saw true happiness in all of their eyes. I never thought this would make dad this happy. Xavier was looking in my direction, waiting for some kind of reaction. My mom brings the box with his ring near me, I took out the ring and with a shaking hand slide it on his. Only because of the deal between me and dad. I agreed with marriage without denial.

"I think we should announce it. " His dad said.

"Of course, what are we waiting for I'll call my assistant and tell him to release an official statement regarding this." My dad reply.

"Susan say something, honey. " Mom said, looking at me. I'm so angry right now. Not at him, at my luck why everything has to be so against my wish.

"I don't know what to say, I didn't expect it. " I said clearly it's true, I didn't expect him to say yes.

"Excuse me." With that I went straight to the washroom. I spend a good 15 to 20 minutes there. After a few minutes of washing my face, re-applying some lip gloss and then adjusting my gown and hair. I decide to go out. As soon as I exit the washroom my eyes met with the similar grey eyes.

"What happen Susan?"

"Seriously, now you're asking what happen?" I showed him shinning ring in my finger.

"This happen Xavier, I told you to say no, then why didn't you?" I was fuming with anger right now.

"Because I like you." He replied in the matter of fact tone. His answer made me laugh.

"Really? You want me to believe that shit? I want honesty from you." I told him firmly.

"That is the truth darling. I know about your ex he cheated on you. I know I have reputation, but I want you to believe me. And stop being so hot shot come back at the table and try to behave." How dare him to say such thing to me?!

"Who told you about me and my ex? Who are you to tell me to behave?"

"Your fiance" He said calmly. God, give me patience. With that, he went straight to our the table.

Everyone was so happy there. Our mothers are starting to plan the wedding, our fathers are in their own world about sports news. They didn't even notice us returning to the table.
