Ah finally. After four hours of more classes, it's the weekend.

As I was going out of my class. Someone jumped me from behind yelling ''party tonight''. The person jumped off me and I turned to them. There was Jed. ''Jed man. Aren't you angry at me for what happened earlier today?''. He looked at me and scoffed ''yeah I was, but can't be mad at you anymore. As it's a party tonight at the old mill and I need my best bud with me''.

''party? No no. this weekend I want to relax an...'', then I got cut off by Jed. ''yeah yeah. You can do that anytime. Now this weekend it's party time. So, suck it up. You owe me for blowing my ear off earlier''. I sighed ''fine, but don't get to drunk. You know how you are when your drunk''. ''yeah I'm awesome'', he said as he gave me a smirk. ''yeah, keep telling yourself that''.

''whatever, wolfie. Hey, I heard a rumour''. ''what rumour?'', I asked. ''about a birdie and a tribrid calling it quits'', he said giving me thumbs up. ''yeah, but it was more Landon breaking up with her over a text''. ''wait really? That's a coward way, but hey she's single and so are you''.

''no Jed. She is in her room and not okay. You know she does have feelings for the guy. She's hurting because of him''. ''yeah, but maybe a rebound would do the trick. Example like his hybrid brother'', he said giving me smirk.

''you are unbelievable and an idiot''. ''don't forget hot. I mean the girls and guys drools over me''. I laughed and said ''keep telling yourself that, dreamy''. ''well, I'm not the one dreaming when I'm actually out there with the gals and the girls. While you are now single and a virgin''.

I hissed ''fuck you''. ''I think that was meant for Hope? Since I guess she would smash you'', Jed said giving me a wink. ''you know, you are starting to get on my nerve''. ''well, as your best friend I should''.

I shook my head and walked away. Hearing Jed yelling from behind ''okay, I'm getting the hint. See you later. Don't forget the party later''. I kept walking and gave him a thumbs up from behind.

I was now outside Hope's room. I was about to knock when I heard footsteps behind me. I quickly turned around to see who it was.

''Landon'', I said. ''Nick'', he answered me. ''what are you doing here. Haven't you done enough?''. ''look I know what I did was a douche move, but I can't keep doing this. She has feelings for you. More feelings than she has ever had with me. You may not see it, but I do and so does others. That's why I broke up with her. I wasn't planning to do it, but I can't keep this up. Tell me what would you have done in my situation?''.

I looked at him then I took a glance at Hope's door. ''I guess I would have done something like that, but not over a text. I would have done it in person. Even if it was difficult and may hurt me. I would have done it face to face''.

Landon sighed ''yeah that part I understand, but I couldn't get myself to do it in person. I know I took the easy and coward's way. That's why I'm here. To talk to her in person. Explain myself. Do up for myself for breaking up over a text''.

Before I got to answer him the door opened, revealing Hope.
