"Stop!" She screamed with a big smile on her face as I kept launching pillows at her face. She tried to get up but I just hit her again making her fall right back down. I stopped once she gave up the fight and I just crawled in top of her kissing her lips.
"Babe, get up before I'm late for work." She said pecking my lips repeatedly. "If you keep kissing me I ain't going nowhere." I mumbled pulling up her shirt.
"Nope, nope. I'm leaving." She said pushing me off her and standing up fixing her hair and makeup.
"What you putting all that on for?"
"Cause I want to. It makes me look better then I naturally do." I nodded. "You going to work, who cares?"
"I do. The prettier you are, the better the tips." I frowned but shook it off. I didn't even know what that meant but I was going to let it go.
I kissed her neck lightly and she smiled. "See you later?"
I nodded. "Definitely, I'll swing by when you get off." She nodded.
"Okay, bye. I love you. Make sure you lock the door when you leave." She said kissing me. "You too Chanel."
She waved and walked out the door to her car. I watched her as she started it and pulled out of the parking lot.
Me and Chanel basically picked up where we left off but I didn't feel as happy as I should have felt. Me and Chanel have the same exact attitude so when we fight, it's blow for blow at our egos. We both know how to hit it where it hurts.
I sighed and fell back on her bed staring at the ceiling. It was white and boring and the last thing I was actually focused on.
Chanel was cool and all but nothing was ever set with her. You never knew how she felt. She'd rather act like she didn't care then to show her feelings and I couldn't stand that shit. I knew she was open but she didn't want to show it. I didn't want that nomore.
My phone rang and I grabbed it off the dresser, pressing it to my ear.

"Talk."
The other end scoffed. "Who you talking to Cam? Like really?"
"Oh, shit! Wassup Arie?"
She kissed her teeth. "Hey, how are you?"
I smiled. "I'm chill, how's college? Them grades up right?"
"Ofcourse, Daddy would kill me if they weren't. Hey, I called to tell you something.."
"Sup?"
"Kyra flew to Cali.."
I frowned at the sound of her name. Niggas knew what it was when it came to her. They didn't talk about her around me cause they knew I'd flip shit. I missed Kyra like hell and I knew she was done with me. I just really wanted her to know that I loved her with everything in me, I just fucked up. We all fuck up.
"Why?"
"I'm not sure. Mama told to to tell you that. She wouldn't tell me why, she said you would figure it out after you processed it."
I frowned. "What?"
"Right." She said laughing. "But, I have homework so I will call you later.."
I nodded. "Aight, stay safe I love you."
"I love you too." She said before hanging up.
Kyra flew to Cali? Fuck was that supposed to mean?
After thinking about it it dawned on me.
Shit...
Kyra
I opened the door to the hotel and walked outside. I made my way to the edge of the walk way and opened the car door getting in. I looked over at Rashad and smiled.
He chuckled and pulled out into the street. The ride to his house took about 30 minutes and we kept stealing glances at eachother the entire time. He was still handsome and polished.
He opened the door to his house and walked in after me. "So, how you been?" He asked motioning me to follow him.
He lead me into the kitchen and I sat down on a stool as he got something from the refrigerator.
"I'm okay. How are you?" He sat a cup in front of me and filled it with apple juice. I smiled. He used to do that all the time when I would come over when we were younger.
"Relax Ky, damn. You acting like you don't know me." I sighed.

"I mean. Do I still know you?"
He laughed and bent over the counter his face inches from mine. He was so handsome. I'd never seen Rashad without a fresh hair cut and diamonds in his ear. He was such a pretty boy.
"I'm still tha same nigga you left a few years ago..."
I scoffed. "Left? You moved Shad!"
"You could have came with me Kyra and you know it!"
"And did what with my life? Followed you around while you made it big?! I wanted to go to college too!"
"Kyra, are you even using that degree?"
I sighed and he laughed. "I knew you wouldn't cause it's not in you to o be average." He said caressing my cheek.
"I didn't want to be useless. Sitting around while you were in class. You deserved to experience that college lifestyle."
"I didn't want that shit.. Fuck a lifestyle. I wanted us to be my lifestyle. You pushed me away Ky! I loved you! I loved you soo fucking much but you wouldn't understand that!"
"You deserved someone better than me. Look at what I've become! I work in a damn sports bar." I said shaking my head. "I'm still that same. Undecided. I have no path."
He walked around the counter and spun my body around so that he was in between my legs.
"I didn't want better. I wanted you. You're not perfect, and I'm far from it. You could work at mcdonalds and I'll stay with you Ky. I wasnt with you for anything more than your heart.." He said placing his palm against my chest.
"Rashad?" I said looking up into his eyes. They were so pretty.
"Yeah?"
I bit my lip and entertwined my hands with his. "Can we stop talking about us? I don't want to argue with you,"
With no hesitation his nodded and connected his soft lips to mine catching me off guard, but I definitely kissed back. "Aye, Remember when first started talking?"
I nodded and laughed. "You were so consistent."
He started laughing. "You was the finest girl I ever seen in my damn life. Remember Dave?"
I nodded. "Your old bestfriend right?"
He nodded. "I had saw you and I wanted yo number so I had Dave stick that note on your desk in that class y'all had together. Never told you that shit."
I laughed and hit his chest. "That was you! Are you serious?!"
He nodded and grabbed my hand pulling me into his living room. I sat down and he pushed my shoulder making me smile.
"Why you really here?"
I looked at him confused. "Huh?"
"You heard me. I know you. You ain't just fly out here for no reason. What you looking for? "
I bit my lip and he chuckled. "Oh, I know this ain't about ya moms? You sure you want to do that? You sure you ready?" I nodded. "I have a little brother. "He's six."
"Word? What's his name?" I shrugged. "I don't know. I just know I deserve to know him, he deserves to know me. I want to teach him things and take him to the park and spoil him and be there..." Rashad nodded and sighed. "Go for it then.. But not tomorrow cause we going out all day. I'm about to call out of work."
I laughed and nodded. "Sure."
I was chilling with Tj watching the game when the door opened and in walked Kaylens annoying ass. She frowned and sat her suitcase down before Tj pulled her into a hug and they started tonging eachother down. It was so nasty. Who the fuck wants to kiss her?
"Cameron? Why are you in my house?"
I kissed my teeth. "You know damn well you ain't buy shit in here. Gone somewhere. Where's Kyra?"
"She stayed in Cali."
I kissed my teeth and got up from the couch leaving out. Why would Kaylen leave her there by herself?
I walked in my house and grabbed my laptop looking up flights. I booked one for 10:24 PM and headed upstairs to pack.
Kyra was about to do something and she didn't need to do it alone. She might hate me, but I would never let her go through this alone. She needed someone. I would put my feelings for her aside to make sure she's alright.
I grabbed my suit case and jogged down the steps heading for the door. I locked the house up and pulled out of the drive way towards the airport.
