Jada & Marcel's House

Today was the day of Sanai's welcome home party. Everybody basically flew to Nevada yesterday but aren't showing up to the house until 3 for the party.

I was downstairs making breakfast for Jada while she was upstairs feeding Sanai in the nursery.

I finally let her get time with Sanai, or so she says. I just can't help that I've been waiting for this and finally got it. I was gonna try and get as much time with my daughter as possible. I even took some time from the trap to help Jada for the next few weeks or so.

Once I got done I brought the breakfast up to her.

Sanai was asleep in her arms. She saw me and got up to put her in her crib.

She then took the food from me and began to eat.

"You not eating?" She asked.

"Nah I'll eat later when the food and everyone come." I said.

She just nodded and continued eating.

We decided not to really have a decorated set up or anything, aside from the backyard with "Welcome Home Sanai" hanging and the tables with tablecloths. There were a few balloons here and there but we didn't wanna do too much.

After she ate, I took the plate from her and brought it downstairs to wash it then I met back up with her in our bedroom.

We didn't really have to start getting ready until 1:30 ish. Neither Jada nor I were cooking either, so we asked everyone to bring something if they could or wanted too. Knowing Jada's mother, I expect a thanksgiving feast.

We watched tv and drifted off to sleep, taking this opportunity to nap before later.

I was showered and dressed and was getting Sanai dressed while Jada was in the shower.

"Look at my princess." I said to her as she looked at me with her fingers in her mouth.

As soon as I finished getting her dressed, the doorbell rang.

I went down to answer it, with Sanai in my hand.

It was Bria and Q.

"NIECEY POOOOOH!" Bria exclaimed was soon as I opened the door. She then took Sanai from me, walking away and Q and I chuckled to ourselves.

"Wassup homie?" I asked Q, dabbing him up and he nodded towards me.

"Aye bro help me with the food in the car. Bria done saw her niece and forgot all about the food." He asked shaking his head and I chuckled and went to help him.

Once we got the food set up in the back, Jada came outside.

She immediately hugged Q.

"Hey bro." She said to him and he nodded back to her.

"Congrats on the baby again!" She said excitedly. Bria told Jada last month that Q and her were also having a baby.

"Thanks." Q said.

"Where's that nappy headed heifer with my child?" She asked and Q and I bust out laughing.

"Probably in the kitchen somewhere." I said.

"Really? I ain't see her. Probably cause I wasn't looking. Alright I'll be back." She said and I nodded.

"So you ready to be a dad Q? When's the baby due?" I asked.

"Fourteen days before the wedding. Man I feel like I am but I don't know, you know I ain't never done nothing like this before. A nigga nervous as hell." He said being honest.

"Damnnnn fourteen days before the wedding? So what y'all gon do? Change the date? And you gon straight homie." I said to him.

"Nah, Bria refuse to change the date. She thinks she's wonder woman and shit. She expect to be out the hospital by the 17th the latest and in her wedding dress by the 24th." He said laughing and I did too.

"Women." I said still laughing and he did the same.

"You at least excited?" I asked him.

"About what? The wedding or the baby?" He asked.

"Both." I responded.

"Hell yeah. I get to see her fine ass in a wedding dress, and then after that I'm putting more babies in her. I'm excited for this baby too, just nervous of what kind of father I'll be because you know what we do." He said referring to trapping and I nodded.

"About that, I know you don't trap in Florida nomore but I need you to come down there for like a week. Straighten these young niggas up and visit a couple opps with me that been tryna wreck shit." He said and I sighed.

"Nigga you can't do that shit by yourself? I already got some hot shit going on up here I can't leave my family behind." I said. The block got a little hotter since our accident I just never said anything to Jada because I told her I'd stay off the streets for a little and help with Sanai.

"I tried. Nigga come on. You help me down there I help you up here you know that." He said and I stared at him for a moment.

"Fine nigga. One week. I'm wiping shit out the first day and fixing the young niggas for the next six." I said sternly and he nodded.

Before Q could tell me when, Jada and Bria cape out with Jada's mom and dad, my aunt and 2 of my cousins, Jada's cousin Mia, Mina, and Jashawn.

I signaled to Q letting him know that we'll talk later and we he nodded. Then we went over to greet everyone.

After the greetings, we all just enjoyed each other's company. Everyone was so in aww about Sanai. Nobody wanted to put her down but eventually they all did and Jada went to go put her down for a nap after feeding her.

We all then ate the food Bria, Jacquelyn, and my aunt brought and chilled for the rest of the day until everyone left around 10.

"Babyyyy look at all these gifts for nai." Jada said in aw.

"I know baby." I said smiling and wrapping my arms around her.

She set them beside nai's crib so that we can open them in the morning.

Jada then went into the shower and I went in with her.
