If I get the key positionings wrong, I apologize. I play mostly on X-box One. Not computer.
Also, I just game M/n's mom a random name, it doesn't really matter.

/M/n POV/
"U/n, I need your help!" Puffy called out. She was struggling to reach a chest that was higher up in the storage area.
"I've got it," I said, "Can you scooch over, please?"
She did as was asked.
"What do you need in here?" I asked, shuffling through the supplies inside. She shrugged, "Just some wooden blocks, they should be on the left side." I looked, and there they were.
Taking the blocks, I brought them down to Puffy's level and handed them to her. She took them and brought them to the beach area. We had been setting this stuff up for hours now, building and cleaning the surrounding area.
I went to pick up a water bucket when I felt an itching in my nose. My nose twitching, I turned away from the supplies and let out a loud sneeze, then another, and another. "Are you alright U/n?" Puffy called from the beach.
I nodded, waving my hand, "Yeah, I'm fine. I've just had a cold for the last few days."
"Alright", she said, "If you're sure."
I sniffed, brushing the hair that had fallen out of my braid out of my face.
(I imagine M/n's character with long hair.)
Looking out over the progress Puffy and I had made, I smiled.
After only a few hours, Puffy and I had managed to turn an abandoned area of the Smp into an enjoyable beach getaway. It would be a nice place to have Tommy's birthday party when they were finished with it.
Then, I considered something.
"Puffy", I said, "Do you think this was a good idea?" She turned to me, looking slightly confused.
I held up my hand for her to wait for a second, "I'm just saying. The last time Tommy tried to have a party, no one came. Not that it was his fault, but don't you think that would cause some kind of anxiety towards parties? Like, at all?"
Puffy thought for a while, "You might have a point... should I ask him?"
"You probably should, you've known him longer, I'll finish up here," I said, picking up seeds that had appeared when I cleared away grass. Puffy nodded and went off to talk to Tommy, disappearing around the corner.
-Timeskip by like five minutes-
I coughed again, feeling the sore, raw patches on my throat sting.
Coughing harder, mucus came up. God, having a cold sucks. Hacking again, I heard a soft knocking from the door behind me.
"Hello?" I asked, sliding off my headset and getting out of my chair, turning off my camera. Walking quietly over to the door, I cracked it open a small bit. "Oh, hi mom," I said, opening the door the rest of the way.

My mother stood there in her pajamas, clutching something in her hands. "Hi honey", she said, "how's work going?"
I smiled, she was supportive of my careers, both of them. She ate the food I made and occasionally watches my videos.
"It's alright, I'm streaming right now", I said, gesturing her inside, "I'm helping set up a birthday party for one of our younger members on the server. But I can take a break if you need something."
She shook her head, "I'm alright, I just heard you coughing and brought you some cough drops and tea to help."
My smile faded slightly but went back to normal quickly. "Ah, mom. You didn't need to do that." I said, rubbing the back of my neck. She smiled softly, "But I wanted to", she said, handing me the tea and cough drops, which I took.
Popping a cough drop into my mouth, I thought for a second before gesturing my head in the direction of my computer. "Do you want to play?" I asked softly, and she looked surprised. "Me?" Mom asked quietly, "But you're usually so protective of your stuff. Are you sure?"
I nodded, "Sure, why not? It'll be fun."
Watching my mother toddle over to my computer, I felt sadness nibble at my chest. She hadn't exactly been in the best of health since my father passed away. Being bedridden had taken a toll on her physical state, but she was a very optimistic woman, which was good.
"How do I play this?" Mom asked after she sat down, looking at the keys of the computer. I walked over and leaned over her shoulder, sliding my headset back on. Taking hold of her hand, I placed it over the keys, pressing each finger down one by one.
"W is forward" I explained, pressing down the said finger, watching as my character moved forwards slightly.
"Mhm" she hummed, and I pressed down another key.
"A is left." My character moved left.
"S is back." It moved back.
"And D is to the right." Moved right.
Mom hummed, pressing down the keys, moving in all sorts of directions, causing me to snort. "Alright", I said, pointing at another key, "The space bar is jump. And the shift key is how you sneak."
"What does sneak do?" Mom inquired, pressing the key, causing my character to crouch.
"Uhh," I thought, "If you were up higher, sneaking allows you to place blocks on the edge without falling off. Most of the time, anyways."
"U/n?" I jumped when I heard Puffy's voice come through the speakers of my headset.
"Oh, hey Puffy", I said, "If my character's moving a little funny, it's because my mom's in control right now." I received a playful "hey" from my mom, along with a playful smack to my arm.

Grinning, I had my mother maneuver over to Puffy's character model. "Hi", Puffy chirped, "You're U/n's mom?" "That is correct," My mom said, "But you can just call me Noe, hon."
"Noe? That's your name?" Puffy inquired, and I cut in. "Yep. That's my mom. Noe. She told me it means "peaceful". Which is ironic."
Mom shot me a look, "What's that supposed to mean?" I bit the nail of my finger, looking away. "Nothing, nothing at all."
"Nothing at all", mom mocked, making a face. Rolling my eyes, I directed my mom around the beach, showing her different things that we had fixed and placed. "Oh, Puffy", I said into my headset, "What did Tommy say?"
"He actually seemed really excited." Puffy said, "He's turning seventeen, right?"
I nodded, "Yeah. He's almost an adult, kinda strange to think about." "Uh-huh," Puffy murmured. "Tommy?" Mom inquired, "Is he a nice boy?"
I smiled, "Yeah, he's pretty nice. Half of the time. The other half, you would think that he was rabid." Puffy let out a loud snort, "Accurate."
Mom let out a loud yawn, causing me to turn to her. "I think it's time to rest, mama," I said, and she nodded in agreement. "I've gotta pop out again, Puffy." I rushed out, barely hearing her faint "okay".
I walked my mom to her room, laying down in her bed. "I hate how tired this medicine makes me", she muttered, closing her eyes. Kissing her on the forehead, I rested mine against hers. "I know mama, I know."
She quickly fell asleep, and I headed back to my room to set my stuff back up. "Sorry about that Puffy," I said, putting my headset back on. "It's alright", Puffy said, "She was a lovely woman."
"She is", I said.
"I actually found something that you might like", Puffy said, "I found it when I went to look for Tommy." She pulled something out of her inventory, but I couldn't quite see what it was. As she walked closer, I realized what it was.
"Is that... the top part of a horse skull?" I asked, taking the skull gently from her hands. Turning it around, I noticed the strap attached around the back. My eyes widened slightly in realization, "Oh... it's a mask!"
"Mhm", Puffy hummed, "I found the skull and thought that it looked cool. And I remembered that the mask you're wearing right now is getting kind of threadbare, so I attached a leather strap to the back of it," I felt around the edges of my mask. She was right, it felt thin.
"I'm going to try it on", I said, and Puffy turned away. Nice, she's respectful of my privacy. Taking my current mask off, I unclipped the strap and slid the skull over my head...
Woah...
This horse must have been big because my head fit inside its skull perfectly. Even though the eye holes are a little off, I can see out of it pretty well. It was a little heavier than my old mask, but I could get used to that.
"How do I look?" I asked, and Puffy turned around. She actually jumped, but she seemed fine. "Oh jeez, you actually look kinda scary. Now that I think about it, you kind of resemble Technoblade."
I looked down at myself, then back at Puffy. "I mean... a little, yeah."
"With the braid and the mask, they just look kind of look similar," Puffy said, playing with my hair, bouncing it from hand to hand. Turning my head slightly, I looked at her. "Speaking of my braid, it's coming undone. Can you redo it? Please?"
She nodded, taking the band out of my hair, letting it coming free. Puffy ran her hands through the braids, allowing it to unwind. My hair in-game, at least, was about down to the small of my back. While the rest of my character was pitch-black, with white freckles everywhere, my hair was porcelain white.
My color palette is basically monochrome.
I could feel the twisting and winding of my hair behind me, weaving and braiding. It took Puffy about four minutes to finish, with some pauses in between. Which was weird, because braiding doesn't usually take that long unless you're doing something special.
When she was finished, Puffy backed away, admiring her work. Which I couldn't see, so I felt around. As I touched around, I felt something that felt out of place. Feeling around more, I felt more and more of the discrepancies. Finding one at the bottom of the braid, I carefully took it out.
A dandelion?
I felt around more and realized that Puffy had wound different plants and flowers into my hair. Looking into a reflection in the water, I realized how incredible it looked. There were pops of every color of the rainbow, along with slim green vines winding through everything.
"This, this is amazing," I whispered, turning to Puffy and smiling, "I need to come to you for hair advice." She let out a loud laugh, shaking her head. "Nah. Come on, get up. We've gotta finish this up."
I sat up and walked to another area, picking things up and arranging them. After a while, we had finished with everything.
I turned to Puffy.
"Alright, let's get this party started."

Kind’s Kiss
MAGIC DOESN'T KILL, NOT BY ITSELF. IT NEEDS A LITTLE HELP. Jessica DeRidder is a substitute teacher and mage in hiding, her daughter Ellen a killer on the run. Their next job lands the mother-daughter team in Hellhole, a small town in the middle of nowhere. All they need to do is their job. For Mom to identify the problem, and for Ellen to... fix it. Easy. Simple. But not this time. The pair find themselves caught in the struggle between the Man-in-White and the Wicked Witch of the West. A mysterious image and the theft of a deadly flower lead the pair to a score of dead prisoners, magical drug dealers, and red-eyed assassins falling from the sky. And somehow it all seems to be related to Ellen's murky past. All Ellen wants to do is do her homework, eat ice cream, and protect her newfound friends (not necessarily in that order). She'll go all-in, guns blazing. But when the smoke clears there may be nothing left but a stranger's past and a lonely future. --- 'Kind's Kiss' is a light, modern-day fantasy, easy on the magic, heavy on the snark. Though complete it is still a work in progress. One reviewer described it as 'Buffy meets Sabrina, as done by Tarantino'. I'm still not sure if I should consider that a compliment or hire a hitman :-)
