CLASS 12-01
yow listen up! Ms. Oh, the one who handles the pageant on Saturday needs one substitute for our candidates just in case they won't show up
I'll do it
We don't need substitutes. Ryujin and Beomgyu knows their responsibilities. Right?
No
No
Yeah they know
Goodnight now
We have rehearsals at 6 AM
Right all of us have to be there to prepare for the props and choreography.
Great bye
I put my phone down, and looked outside my window to see if she's already sleeping. Then, her lights turned off, and I nodded.
She's already sleeping alright.
I was about to sleep too, but Jaehyuk messaged me making me roll my eyes, and cover myself in my comfy blanket.
yoonjaehyuk
Me? Sing?
Do you want to bring storm in our school?
Read 10:33 PM
Oh you've got to be kidding me.
It was already 5:15 in the morning, and I was already in front of my house, waiting for Ryujin to come out of hers. We've been walking together to school for weeks now since the rehearsals are always early in the morning.
I looked at their house gate, and saw her father going out of the gate together with her. She waves goodbye to her mom, and looked up to her dad and said something.
Please tell me it's not what I think it is...
Ryujin looked at me, and gave me a signal to come closer. Shit.
I glanced at her father who has both of his hands on the sides of his waist, waiting patiently for me.
"Dad's going to give me a ride to school. So let's go."

Ryujin opened the car doors, and got inside. I glanced once more to his father, and he was already looking at me with very judgmental eyes. He already knew that I'm one of her closest friends, and I've been to their house a lot of times already since we were kids, but when we turned fourteen the way he looks at me changed.
He became more observant, I must mention that because to be honest, it scares the shit out of me.
I nervously got in, and sat beside Ryujin who has a bright smile on her face. That will definitely change later because of her heels.
Ah. Just thinking about the shoes already gives me pain.
I will never use those shoes ever again.
*flashback*
"Stop making mistakes!" Ryujin shouted.
"Sorry, but it's quite hard!" I shouted back.
"You think it's easy to use these?" She looks down, and I saw her heels that made her two inches higher than her normal height.
"Probably..." I mumbled. She did look effortlessly good while using those. Though it gave her a wound, it's probably just because it's a new shoe or something.
She scoffed. "Use it then, for the REST of the rehearsal time."
"Fine."
*end of flashback*
Worst decision ever. We were scolded ten times because I wasn't walking properly again. Who could walk in those heels?!
Ryujin could, so as the other girls. This is why we should respect girls they suffer from this hell almost everyday in their life in the future.
"Beomgyu!" Ryujin snapped her fingers.
"Dad was asking you where do you want to go to college?" Shoot I didn't heard that.
"To the University where my brothers are going. I forgot the name of the University haha..."

"Oh good. I thought you weren't going to college," Ryujin's dad said.
"Thought so too." Ryujin chuckled, and I just faked a smile at her.
Ryujin took her water bottle, and started to drink since she was thirsty.
"So do you like Ryujin." Before I knew it, I was already showered by a mix of water and Ryujin's saliva.
"Thanks Ryujin... a lot." I said while wiping my face.
"Uh... yes uncle I do like Ryu—" once again water splattered all over my upper body.
"As a friend," I continued. Ryujin sighed in relief, and I glared at her. She's so lucky I love her.
"What?" Uncle suddenly pulled the brakes making my head spin, and looked at me.
"What's the 'she's so lucky i love her'?" He asked. I chuckled and smiled at him.
"As a friend uncle," I smiled.
I looked at Ryujin, and she was taking tissues out of a box absentmindedly.
"Ryu—"
"Ah!" She threw me the box with a shocked look on her face. I laughed with a shaky voice, and returned her the box politely.
"You really should drink less coffee and tea, Ryujin." I smiled and faked a laugh once again.
I took all the tissue, and started wiping the water out off my body, and the seats as well.
"Woah Beomgyu why's your uniform drenched?" Heeseung asked. I glared at Ryujin, and she was already smiling awkwardly.
"Anyway, here's the video I sent Beomgyu last night." Jaehyuk gave his phone to Ryujin and her eyes widened in shock.
"Bbyu couple's stage performance?!"

Tower of Somnus
When humanity first encountered alien life, we were judged and found wanting. The Galactic Consensus interviewed our leaders and subjected us to a battery of psychological tests to determine our progress as a society. They found us to be selfish, wasteful, impulsive, and boorish neighbors. Earth was blockaded and our collective encounter with our extrasolar neighbors rapidly faded from memory. All they left behind was a hypercomm relay and a handful of subscriptions to a massively multiplayer game that participants played in their sleep. The Consensus said that it would let us interact with our neighbors in a controlled setting. That it would teach us to be better members of the galactic community. The megacorporations that controlled Earth ignored the game until they learned that the powers earned from clearing dungeons were just as real when day broke. Magic, supernatural abilities and rumors exploded from nothing and a subscription to The Tower of Somnus became a status symbol. Katherine ‘Kat’ Debs doesn’t have much, but it could be worse. Born in an arcology, she was assigned a job in the megacorporation that raised her almost as soon as she could work. Despite the stability of her corporate life, she wanted something more. A chance to claw her way up the rigid social and financial ladder to make something of herself. A chance that wouldn’t come naturally to someone as familiar with dark alleyways and the glint of steel as she was with office work and corporate niceties.Book One is up on Kindle Unlimited as of 7/6/22 - https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B0B2X3L8H5

Urban Divinity
He slowly backs up until his back is against the wall like my own, "You're..my neighbor?" He points to my door and I nod my head quickly. He hums softly, "You been here a while?" He asks and I nod my head once again. He chuckles, "Ya head hurt?" I nod again but stop as he laughs softly, "I-I mean.. no.. it doesn't." My cheeks burn red as I look at my shoes, "I-It doesn't hurt.." I repeat like a dummy and listen to him clear his throat, "So do you actually live there or was it bull?" He nods to my door and I play with my fingers, "Yeah.. I do.." I feel his eyes watch me and I quickly stop. "You live with your boyfriend or do you like sweatshirts that reach your knees?" He teased, making a giggle slip past my lips. I look away to the floor again, "I-I like big shirts... a lot." I mumble softly and he nods his head, "Hol' up." He puts his box down before walking over to one of the grey bins. I nosily watch as he pulls out a big grey sweatshirt, "Here." He holds it out for me to take and I stare at him with wide eyes, "F-For me?" I hesitantly grab the soft fabric as he chuckles, "Nah for ya mom." I puff my cheeks a little and give him a small glare, "Hush." He leans back against the wall and shakes his head, "It's cold out. You should put it on." ____________________________She was a shy girl from the city with no spine and a list of problems so long that it could touch the floor and roll off her shoes.
