"It's as if the moment we lock our eyes for the first time is the climax of our story."

Beomgyu, rubbing his eyes, let himself adjust to the light as he felt the burning sensation of the sun hit his fragile pupils.
Since he wasn't that bothered to get out of his bed just yet, he stayed sitting there blankly staring at a random spot in the room to just appreciate the warm comfort of his bed for a few precious minutes; that was until he heard a buzzing sound coming from his phone.
With not much thought into who messaged him this early, he read out the message from the group chat saying: 'Last one to get to school, has to buy the rest lunch!'.
The boy let out a confident chuckle as he thought to himself that he was going to be there before the others, only to be baffled at their responses as they had all already left their houses.

Gritting his teeth, he dashed to get his shoes on, combing his hair with his fingers as he didn't want to waste more time.
"Beomgyu-ah! Eat breakfast first!" His mother called out, slapping her husband's hand away from the food.
"It's okay, eomma! I'll eat the leftovers after school." He said to his mum, desperately wanting to leave the house already.
"Are you sure?" His father waiting for a signal to eat, hiding his impatience to feed himself with a smile.
"Mhm! Enjoy it!"

"Beomgyu hyung!" A loud voice pierced through the crowd resulting for the poor boy to run up to his group of friends.
"Am I...the last one?" The boy's filled with exhaustion managed to ask his question despite the shortage of air in his lungs from the running he just did.

"Nope, Yeonjun hyung still hasn't- guys I'm here!" Someone had interrupted his friend leading for them to dart their eyes at the boy practically dragging himself up to them.
"What happened to you?"
"Traffic. Now let's get inside please."
Yeonjun cut to the chase, silently sulking that he has to now use his money just to feed a total of four stomachs; not including himself.

"Hey did you hear?" Soobin had initiated a conversation between all of them, wondering if they have heard the special news.
"Of what?" Beomgyu questioned, not getting anything.
"About the transfer students, pabo-yah..."
Taehyun had retaliated, shaking his head at how clueless he was.
"I saw Shin Jieun giving them a tour earlier on. They're all girls." Soobin said whilst getting his equipment out and organising his desk.
"Well spotted." Hueningkai sarcastically responded, pointing at the window as they saw them already lined up outside waiting for the teacher to assist them inside.
+×+
"Everyone! You may or may not already know but we have a handful of students that will be joining us today. Please treat them well since they're new because I know you don't want your parents disappointed at your report."
Mr Cha had instructed Shin Jieun to bring them inside and told them to introduce themselves to the students.
Having not much of a care on them, Beomgyu had his mind drifting off somewhere else, as he gazed into the calming scenery of the trees through the glass windows.
However, a familiar sound had caught his ears, making him divert his focus on them not expecting the sight at all.
Her calming voice that filled the room, her timid smile she gave the pupils despite her cold eyes scanning the room were the same or atleast similar.

It was her- well she resembled her.
Beomgyu blinked a couple of times, telling himself it was just his mind performing tricks- but the recognisable figure didn't fade time.
And he was quite thankful she didn't.
Maybe she is real- is what Beomgyu thought, keeping himself hopeful that it might be her but then again, out of the 7 billion people on the planet- it could also possibly be someone else.
"Everyone clap for them please!" The teacher had told the class, lightening up the tension in the room as mostly everyone was in awe at the ladies.
"You can all sit at the back, next to the five boys if they don't mind." He had assured the new transfer students before starting the lesson.

Taking a seat on the wooden material, Ryujin tried to atleast make herself comfortable after taking off her bag and propping down her textbooks.
She continued to concentrate on the board, writing down a few notes but couldn't let this gut feeling that she felt someone's eyes fixed onto her. Turning her head cautiously, she collided with the person that wasn't making it easy for her to concentrate on the lesson.
Clearing her throat, she tilted her head and saw those two brown orbs follow her before the mysterious boy sighed and finally found the courage to talk to her.
"Have we met?"

Earth to Rae
Rae, who has had a terrible childhood, died saving Mary -his sister from his family who saved and adopted him when he was younger- from a stalker. Afterward, a god who looked no older than a 14-year old boy, expecting his sister, appeared before him. Rae's soul is then sent into the body of a goblin vampire in a world called Altera. Now, Rae must journey through a new world that strangely resembles many fantasy worlds created through literature and video games he’s familiar with to get back to Earth and reunite with his adoptive mother and sister. Rae: Goblin? Vampire? Cursed? And what the hell is Electra's Gift?! ***Warning: first story ever. Will definitely have many errors although I will try my best to rectify them beforehand. If you have any constructive and *not* abusive criticism, then please do not hesitate to comment. Also, the prologue is a bit slow but will have a large time skip in Chapter One.***

The city of Omen is on the cutting-edge of learning and science, and the things going on behind the backs of the Institute and the government, and sometimes with their approval...well, they don’t really matter. Conspirators operate just below the surface, societies clashing, fighting for their own mysterious ends. It's here that the individual known as Nemesis Jones, a self-styled private investigator, arrives, stumbling onto the doorstep of a curious bookstore called Beaumort's. He's here in search of answers, but all he seems to find is more questions - like the strange girl who arrived at Beaumort's shortly after him, and the peculiar stranger who just may have the answers he seeks. After he stumbles upon a conspiracy tied far too closely for comfort to his best friend, it's up to him and some other nosy eccentrics to unravel the mysteries of the city one by one, beginning with the murder at the Theatre Obscura. The Polyglot's Rune
Fear. Regret. Memories. They all flashed before my eyes as my life began to fade away. I felt a darkness encroach upon my heart followed by a sinister foreboding. Within that moment I was asked a single question by a powerful, mystical being. “Brave being, do you wish to accomplish a great deed in your life?” “No,” I refused, but the voice did not listen. It summoned me to its world only to try to have me slaughtered. But then, I was saved by him, the princess who disguised herself as a man. He was hellbent on revenge, and he was determined to drag me down with him. This story is meant to be a bit of a mix of genres and cultures, so there are some elements that may seem xianxia like, but it's not exactly the same so I didn't tag it. It also has multiple lead characters but is written in first person. Schedule: Dropped Normal Chapter Length: approximately 3000 words Warning: Tagged [15+] for Strong Language and Violence (Gore and Profanity aren't very prevalent, but I added the warning tags just in case).
