Back in her office, Eris gazed at Hades and Ezra, her thoughts jumbled up.

They were silent. They didn't talk about the marking which took place so sudden, neither did they ask her what she was doing there.

A knock was heard and Eris's cold eyes moved to the door, her finger tapping once on the desk, a silent invitation. The door was opened to reveal Axis, his head bowed in her direction before going on one knee and bowing to the lord of the underworld.

"Rise." Was the only spoken word by Hades.

Axis nodded and silently stood up.

"Alpha, I came here to give you this." His voice shook, his words barely heard. She couldn't understand why he was so stressed, what disturbed him yet she merely nodded and Axis made his way over to her, his eyes moving from Hades to Ezra in a stressed manner. In his hands, Eris could see a golden letter sealed with a very interesting stamp, he moved closer only to be stopped by Eris holding her hand up.

He understood the message, took a step back and handed her the letter before speaking.

"It came while you were away. The letter itself isn't the problem but the way it arrived is, Alpha."

She looked at the letter, inspecting it back and forth until she decided to finally open it. Her hand moved with grace, her fingers running over the seal before lifting it up softly, trying not to break it in hopes of being able to examine it later and eventually understand its provenience. After removing it successfully and opening the letter, she stared reading it.

The three creatures in the room watched her closely, hoping to understand what news the letter held by her reaction yet as usual, she was motionless. Her eyes only moving over the words lazily not giving anything away. The silence in the room was deafening, expectations were through the roof from all sides.

Reading through the letter Eris could feel her anger almost seeping out of her, her aura remained yet contained. She started drumming her fingers on the desk, she didn't even need to inspect the seal anymore, by the way the letter was written she knew exactly from whom she received it, she expected it, after all, he knew she heard him in the woods and while she hoped for it to be a couple more blood moons before he started, she knew it was only wishful thinking on her side.

She finished reading the letter and a sigh escaped her before picking up a paper and a pen. She wrote three words down before handing it to Axis, who after reading the words fell to his knees, Hades and Ezra tried to catch him but it was in vain, with him on his knees, Hades moved to pick up the paper that fell next to him only to be burned. His shocked eyes moved to Eris. No fire belonging to her world or any other should ever be able to touch him with harmful intent. He was created by the fire, hell, he ruled over his kingdom with fire. Ezra in disbelief of what had happened tried picking up the letter himself only to be burnt by the same fire before the paper disappeared.

"What the fuck?" Hades's voice was deep and untrusting.

Eris could feel his and Ezra's emotions through their bond, the hurt paired with a silver of pain slamming into her leaving her breathless.

Axis started moving on the floor and all of their gazes snapped to him.

"What did the note say?" Asked Hades enraged.

"It-..." Axis's words got stuck in his throat, an invisible force holding them down.

"I- , my Kings, I can't say the words." His Adam's apple could be seen bobbing up and down while he spoke, sweat started glistening his face and neck.

"What do you mean you can't-." Hades's words got interrupted by Ezra putting his hand on his chest.

"She did this, it appears that our lover has more secrets than we first anticipated." He turned to Eris only to be met with a empty spot where she once stood.

His eyes widened and his head snapped back to the Beta, only to be met with the same thing.

Both of them disappeared.

"How is this possible, Hades, tell me." His voice rose with disbelief.

That's when it hit him.

"Listen closely, Hades, Eris is a werewolf, isn't she? Even though she seems to be a special one, I still haven't seen her shift and I haven't seen her other side take over in her human form either."

"That is strange indeed." He said, running his fingers through his hair.

"Another thing I find interesting, is how her eye color changed when she marked me, even though you couldn't see it, I did and they almost looked like a Vampire's when they mark their beloved." Pointed out Ezra.

"But that is impossible.. unless.." Hades's voice trailed off, they both stopped talking, their breath got stuck in their throats, while their eyes stared at each other's in shock.

Eris and Axis were both down in her prison.

He stared at her, his teary eyes were red and his whole body trembled.

"I just met my soulmate, Alpha, I- I , it is too early for it to start now, I thought we had time!" He exclaimed in anguish.

"More time.." he mumbled.

Eris looked at him blankly, she tried to understand his perspective but there wasn't anything she could do, it wasn't in her hands.

Her fingers moved along the edges of the cells she passed by, the burning feeling reminding her that she's still there, not only physical but also psychological.

Axis sighed before punching a empty cell, yelling all sorts of curses.

"Why, why must the Gods be so cruel.. Fate has finally decided to grace me with the most beautiful person to exist only to take me away from her, why, why Alpha?" He screamed, his voice loud enough to hurt Eris's sensitive hearing.

She turned to him and snapped his neck, already annoyed with him, his body dropped to the ground and the thud echoed through the prison.

She knew that that was a lot to take in but he was her Beta, he shouldn't act like a scared pup.

She finally reached the cell she was waking to, a tall man could be seen inside, his hands cuffed above his head while his head was bowed, his hair shielding his eyes from her.

She smiled cruelly, a sadornic expression lighting her face.

"Are you here to finally set me free, Goddess?" Asked the male.

Eris didn't move for a few seconds, enjoying the sight before her. The man raised his head and finally revealed his magenta eyes which were still casted downwards.

She smiled once again.

She moved closer to the cell and ripped the bars with her bare hands, forgetting all about the keys meant

to open the cell.

"I see." His deep baritone voice spoke softly.

Her face went back to the normal, blank expression she always wore.

She ignored him and moved closer, ripping the handcuffs from the wall above his head, freeing his hands before gripping his jaw and pulling it closer to her.

She opened her mind for him to read like a book.

His eyes widened and his expression shifted from awe to hatred in mere seconds.

"You finally met your mate. Well.. mates." He exclaimed.

She nodded and removed her hand from his jaw.

"I can give you exactly 5 free days with them, Goddess. I may be a distraction but sadly not for too long." He spoke, his magenta eyes holding sadness for her and her destined.

She nodded solemnly and turned to leave, beckoning him to follow her with her fingers.

He trailed after her like a lost puppy, only taking his eyes off of her to look at the unconscious Beta.

"Do you want me to take him with us?" He questioned in distaste.

She shrugged her shoulders and he took it as a yes.

He hated the Beta, he always considered him a pain in the ass yet he still picked him up bridal style and took him with them, he wanted the whole pack to see the Beta in that embarrassing position.

He smirked at the thought and picked up his pace his thoughts already filling with all the reactions he would be getting from his Goddesses pack.

Reaching her, he touched her shoulder hoping to get a reaction out of her at the comical sight only to find himself in her office, standing face to face with her two mates.
