When Ellis returned to the Cullen house he was immediately scooped up into a massive hug. His eyes widened in surprise as Emmet spun him around ferociously. "Ellis! I missed you!" Emmet shouted into a Ellis's torso. He stopped spinning and Ellis relaxed, thinking that he was going to be put down only to let out a gasp as he was suddenly flying though the air.
"That was for going awol on us for three days", Emmet said angrily, but Ellis could tell that there wasn't really any heat to his words. He collided against something hard and arms came to wrap around his waist as he was swung over a shoulder.
"Haha, I get it, you guys aren't very happy", Ellis remarked sarcastically upside down. "Can you put me down now Jasper?"
Jasper only responded by turning and sending Ellis spinning. He could practically feel the blonde male's smug smirk. Ellis groaned as Jasper began walking, entering the Cullen house and crossing into the living room. He was dumped unceremoniously onto his feet in front of Esme and Carslie Cullen, both of which were looking down at him stoically.
Ellis grinned sheepishly. "Um hi". He waved, turning to shoot glares at where Emmet and Jasper were standing. Both older boys waved. The living room was empty but Ellis could smell Bella and Rosalie upstairs. Edward and Alice were nowhere to be seen and he presumed that they were on a hunt.
"Ellis", Esme's voice broke the silence. Ellis froze at the distinctly mother tone. It was the kind of tone a parental figure uses when they are disappointed in you. The type of tone that every child hates. He met her gaze nervously and she sighed.
"We're sorry Ellis".
"Wait, what?" Ellis frowned. "Aren't you going to tell me off?"
"Why would we?" Carslie answered this time. His voice sounded tired and worn. He placed a hand on Ellis' shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze. "You haven't done anything wrong. We agreed that as part of you joining us, you would get the respect and privacy you deserve. Maybe you could have communicated better with us and not just simply disappeared, but we weren't doing much better. We should have talked with you more. With everything going on, it's hard to remember that you are still new to all this and still need support. We will try to be better parents".
"What?" Ellis repeated again, seemingly stuck on autopilot. "What do you mean? I'm fine. It's fine. It's over, I have returned. Yes I should have talked to you but everything is a bit busy and I needed some time".
"Oh Ellis", Esme wrapped him into a hug. He stiffened but relaxed and hugged her back. "We are never too busy not to listen to you", she said, one hang stroking his hair. The gesture was soothing and calming. Ellis tolerated it for a minute before stiffening and pulling away.
"Um thanks", he muttered. Esme and Carlslie frowned breath were interrupted but the front door opening.

"Ellis!" Alice in all her tiny glory marched across the floor with the air of impending doom. Edward smiled at him before going to stand next to Emmet and Jasper. All three of them were laughing at Ellis' terrified expression as Alice descended on him with all ferocity of a hurricane.
"Ellis! How dare you disappear! I knew you would return of course, but look what you've done to your clothes!" Alice crossed her arms. Ellis blinked.
"I'm not wearing my clothes, I'm wearing Seth's".
"I know that. But don't think I didn't see what you did to yours". Alice was right. Ellis's clothes were rather muddy and washed out by rainwater. They had been torn from Ellis spending nights climbing trees and were frankly ruined. He didn't know why Seth's and Leah hadn't pointed it out last night. He had left them in one of the bins outside their house.
"I can't get anything past you, can I?" He asked rhetorically.
"No!" Emmet and Edward chorused from the other side of the room. Jasper, on the other hand, seemed to love watching Ellis struggle. He sent him a thumbs up which Ellis returned with the bird.
"Seth's style is terrible", Alice bemoaned as she took in the oversized wear adoring his body. She pulled a face at the rolled up sweatpants. "Honestly, is those wolves weren't ripping clothes every time they shift, I would give them better style tips. Though, I have a feeling that you like his outdoor appearance". She winked at Ellis, who groaned and hurried his head in his hands.
Edward (that nosy traitor) did what he did best and chose that moment to speak up. "May I congratulate you on losing your first kiss by the way".
Alice and Emmet cooed as Ellis threw himself across the room. He tackled Edward by the waist, knocking him back and just narrowly missing the sofa. "Boys!" Esme commanded. "Outside!" Huffing, Ellis detangled himself from Edward and the two of them sullenly marched outside. They squared up against each other out on the clearing in front of the house, both assessing each other playfully.
"Get him Ellis!" Emmet cheered. "Congrats on your kiss man. Seth is a very lucky boy". Ellis snarled at him. Edward took that time to strike and lunged forward. Ellis ducked under his outstretched arms and disappeared. Edward, suddenly unable to read Ellis's thoughts, whirled around in an effort to trace his movements.
The wolves entered the clearing just in time to watch as Edward was sent hurtling face first into the dirt. Jacob's russet brown wolf instantly burst into snorting chuckles. Ellis reappeared on his back, pining the taller older male to the floor. "Hah!" He crowed triumphantly. "Got ya!"
"Whooo", Emmet howled. "Yeah take that Edward. Go Ellis!" Jasper and Carslie clapped proudly as Ellis stood up. Edward raised his head, face covered in dirt and turned to spit a mouthful of mud onto the floor. Everyone burst out laughing, the wolves howling in amusement.

"Seth", Ellis called for his golden wolf. He waved and Seth's tail wagged.
"Oh no you don't", Alice grabbed him by the back of the shirt like a kitten and began pulling him into the house. "You're making it up to me by being my doll for the day. Seth, we have to talk style later. What Ellis is wearing is atrocious".
"Noooooo!" Ellis wailed dramatically as Alice tugged him inside. "Seth, help me". Seth whined and sat down, placing his head on his paws. "Traitor. My boyfriend betrayed me", Ellis moaned as the front door shut behind him.
Alice tugged him up the stairs to her room, shutting the door behind her with a snap that felt suspiciously like the sealing of Ellis' doom. She drew in a deep breath and turned to him. "Oh my god. Boyfriends!" She squealed. "That is so cute. You two are so cute. Finally!!" Ellis took a step back. "It's so annoying only getting snippets of your future without Seth blocking it. I've been following this relationship like a tv show", Alice gushed. She moved as she talked, pulling Seth's T-shirt from his head and attempting to pull down his trousers. Ellis took them off himself as she disappeared into her massive closet.
"Wear those", She commanded, re-emerging not a second later. Ellis mutely obeyed, hoping to escape from her clutches as quickly as possible. "Is supposed that I should catch you up", Alice muttered as she helped him with the buttons. She explained how the wolves had diverged into two packs. With the Clearwater siblings and Jacob siding with the Cullens and protecting Bella, and the rest of the pack keeping to their old alpha and laws. Ellis felt a pang or sadness at the prospect of not being able to hangout with the whole pack at Emily's anymore, but it was for the best. The only tolerated his presence for Seth anyway.
"Is this a skirt?" Ellis asked as he held up the long piece of black leather. "Yup", Alice answered. "And you're going to wear them with these", she held up a pair of black boots and some ripped leggings. Ellis sighed. This was going to be a long day.
After a few hours of being Alice's personal dress up doll, Ellis was able to slip away into his room. Seth was waiting for him in the hammock, swaying gently to the music pouring through the speakers. Ellis smiled and walked over. "Did you escape?" Seth asked as he spotted him.
"After a great but victorious battle", Ellis answered as he climbed on top of him. He rested his chin on Seth's shoulder as they swayed, savouring his body heat.
"Is that a skirt?"
"More like a leather kilt, but yeah. Alice is always trying new fashions. I think this is another genderless range", Ellis muttered, twirling his fingers through Seth's hair. "I heard about what happened with Jacob and Sam. You're a new pack now".
Seth sighed. "Yeah. Jacob is the true alpha since his is the descendant of the first of us. But he only came into it recently. And Leah always struggled with Sam after he Imprinted on Emily".
"Why did you break away though?"
"Why not? I can be with you this way. It was the obvious decision. Jacob is my friend and deserves my loyalty more than the others. Also, I like the Cullens. They're not to bad".
Ellis smiled. "I love your loyalty". He stretched his neck and pressed a kiss to Seth's lips. Eyes closing, they savoured the feel of each other's skin and scent. Their lips moved in tandem as they pressed closer. It was not like fireworks, more like submerging in a hot bath. Ellis found Seth comforting and overwhelming at the same time.
They withdrew so that Seth could breathe. He gasped in air, eyes opening to run hands through Ellis's wild curls. Alice had tried to tame them but whatever product she had used came undone easily under Seth's agile fingers. The strands bounced up, extra zingy and wild. Seth grilled the back of Ellis' head and drew him back in.
A shrill painfilled scream cut through the air. Seth jerked, biting down in Ellis's lips. It was good that his skin was marble and would not break under Seth's human teeth, otherwise that could have been painful. "What was that?" He gasped, flailing in an effort to get up. The momentum flipped the hammock and both boy's yelped as they felt to the floor, Seth landing on top of Ellis.
Ellis groaned theatrically. "That was Bella", he gasped, remembering to breathe again. It was always a weird sensation drawing in the first breath after going long periods without breathing. There was never any satisfaction.
"Should we go and help?" Seth asked worriedly.
"No. We'd just get in the way. We have no idea how to deal with Hybrid babies. Carslie can handle it if he can get round Edward's panicked arrogance". Ellis stood up and crossed the room to where Tall, dark and Handsome stood on its stand. He plucked a few strings to test if it was in tune and adjusted the knobs accordingly. Seth rolled onto his stomach and rested his head on his arms, a gesture so alike the one he did earlier as a wolf that Ellis chuckled.
"Any requests?" He asked. Downstairs he could hear Edward, Jacob and Rosalie arguing. There was a crash and another groan.
Seth pondered it for a bit, wincing as the voices rose in volume. A slow grin crossed his face. "This is so sad. Ellis, play despacito".
Ellis mirrored his grin and struck. The first few chords echoed round the room much to Seth's delight. Downstairs, the shrill voice of Rosalie thundered up to them.
"Ellis are you playing fucking Despacito?"

The Kings of Thendor - The Two Kings
To some, it would probably be obvious. To others – not so much. In the land of Thendor, where magic is mysterious, unmentioned, and sometimes even disbelieved; where kings, queens, and stewards rule, the ages-old kingdom of Alldel remains without its king. Heirs come and go and no one can explain why each one chooses to abdicate to the steward. And who are these heirs, anyway? Some say the line of kings is dead, while others whisper of magic. Some, though few they are, will tell you other kingdoms have interfered, keeping the line of kings from rising in the nation of Alldel. But why? Adric, son of Cassian, heir to the throne of Alldel has come of age and must answer the question, whether to assume the throne, or abdicate as his ancestors had done for centuries. Raised as a blacksmith by a family friend, Adric struggles with the decision to take up his place as King of Alldel, and to make matters worse, a neighboring kingdom has confirmed the rumors of the common folk. An impossibly old king with a centuries-old message arrives and changes Adric’s life in ways he could never have imagined. Adric must decide the future, and perhaps even the fate of the great kingdom of Alldel. Unprepared for this turn of events, he enlists the help of allied kingdoms and even the mystical nymphs of the Tulusbian forest. Some say his actions will start a war on the continent of Thendor. Ohers say he is resurrecting a long forgotten one from centuries ago. Abdicate, or become king? To some, it would probably be obvious. To others – not so much.
