you're the only girl I dream about, babe.

, we had our last class together, but to be honest I had no fucking idea what the class was about or what it was.
"So, let's start with a little improvisation." The teacher said pausing. "I'd like each of you to get up and tell us a five minute story about your summer." When she said that Rue held her hoodie tight around her head and began to fall sideways down.
"Rue what's wrong?" I asked looking at the girl.
"She gonna pick me, just watch." Rue muttered sadly.
"You don't know th-."
"Looks like we have our first volunteer: Rue." She said as I looked at the teacher in awe.
"Please don't do this to me." Rue mutter making me feel bad for her.
"Rue you'll do fine just be kind and confident." I whispered as she got up and smiled at me.
"Come on, everyone. Let's give her a little encouragement." The teacher said as Rue began to walk up to stage.
"Um, uh a memory?" Rue asked nervously.
"Anything that had an impact on you this summer." The teacher said softly.
"Uh, I don't, I can't think of...."
"Just relax your body. Release the tension." The teacher said trying to help Rue. I could tell by the way she was acting that she was nervous. If I could have I would I stormed up to stage and ushered her away with me to help her calm down but I knew I couldn't. I hating sitting and watching my best friend like that.
"So this.....this summer?" She asked. I could tell she was remembering things that she would only talk about with me. I knew she wasn't gonna say anything.
"Yes." The teacher said as Rue stood on stage silent.
"I'm-I'm having trouble, Uh, Like, remembering...uh something, ya know." She said stuttering.
"Just tell us a specific memory."
"Um, okay, uh...I was, um, with my mom, and my little sister, and we were listening to this...this song." She said sadly. She stood on the stage with tears in her eyes. I could tell she was sad and remembering things she didn't want to remember. "I'm sorry, but I-I can't think of anything, so....I'm-I'm done." She said as she ran off the stage and to the hallway. When she ran out me and Lexi followed her into the bathroom.

"Rue it's me, Eva, don't flush your shit babes." I said as she opened the stall door. I hugged her and she wiped the tears off her cheeks.
"What are you doing here?" Rue asked Lexi.
"I just saw Eva coming to check on you and I came too."
"I don't want you guys to come fucking check on me." Rue said as she pushed me away and walked to the sink.
"Well you're like one of my best friends, We just thought you needed help." Lexi said.
"Give me a fucking break. 'Cause we went to fucking pre-school together? That does not make us best fucking friends."
"Rue calm down she just came to help." I said trying to calm her down.
"You say all this, but what happens in three days when you knock on my door asking me to piss in some Tylenol bottle?" Lexi pauses trying to hold back tears. "What, you're gonna day the opposite? How we've known each other since pre-school and we're best friends? It's like you have a split personality disorder." Lexi said as she ran out of the bathroom.
"Fuck!" Rue said as she went back to the stall she was in to do the lines she didn't do yet.
"Are you okay Rue?" I asked as she snorted one of the lines.
"Yeah I'm fine, I was just remembering things from the OD. You want a line?" She asked me.
"Sure." I said as I snorted a line too.
"You wanna come wit me to my NA meeting thing?" She asked looking at me.
"Why?" I asked looking at her as we left the bathroom to go to our lockers.
"Just in case I need you to flash the guy so he can sign my paper." She said smirking as I laughed. As I got my book bag out of my locker I got a text message.
"Sure I'll go, Fez can't pick me up and I have nothing better to do." I said as the bell rang and we started to walk out and to our homes.

"I'll meet you at your house later so we can bike there." She said as I kissed her on the cheek.
"Ight, love ya girl!" I shouted as I walked away.
-
Rue came to my house around 6:30 and I got dressed into new clothes. I put on a baby blue half top with no sleeves and a slit down the middle so you could see my cleavage. I also put on a short white and gray plaid skirt that stoped on the top of my thighs, and black flats. When we got there me and her sat in the back.
"My name is Ali, and I'm an addict." The man at the stand said.
"Hi Ali." Everyone in the crowd said.
"Actually, an addict is a nice word for it. I was a stoned-cold crackhead." He said pausing. "I was also a firefighter, so I thought, ya know, the two would cancel each other out. As long as I save lives, I had the right to destroy my own." He paused once again and looked at the ground. "Problem was, I was also a father, to two young girls. My girls live in Texas. I speak to them when ever I can. Drugs can take away a lot."
As the man spoke about this all I thought of was the first time I ever did drugs. I was 12 and I took one of the xanny bars my mom used to take for 'anxiety'. It was all bullshit though, she didn't have anxiety, she was just addicted. Rue told me how she got addicted. It was something about her taking her fathers Oxycontin's.
After the man was done talking me and Rue went up to the guy that signs the paperwork. I adjusted my shirt that I was wearing so you could see my cleavage. The guy looked at me as Rue began to speak.
"Hey, Uh, I'm gonna need you to do me a favor." She paused and gave him a stupid grin. "See, there were a bunch of these meetings I was supposed to attend that I didn't...actually attend so, I need you to backdate the slip." She said handing over the paper.
"Uh, yeah, ethically that's a line I won't cross." The man said sliding it back to Rue.
"What if I, suck your dick?" I asked leaning over the table so he could look at my boobs.
"Like, in my car?" He asked as he stared at my breasts.
"I'm 17, you fucking creep. Sign her fucking slip." I said as I smiled at the man and he frantically signed the paper. "Pleasure doing business with you." I said as Rue took the paper and grabbed my hand leading me outside. When we got outside we both laughed.
"Wanna go back to my place and then go to Fezco's?" She asked looking at me.
"Uh, I'll go back to your place but I don't think Fezco's home because he texted and said he had shit to do tonight." I said as we rode our bikes.
"Nah, he probably just had to do shit with Ashtray." She said pausing and then looked over at me. "Or maybe he's.....cheating." She said laughing.
"He wouldn't do that Rue, we've only been dating for like 3 days, he's not that kinda guy." I said laughing as we ride to her place. When we got to her house she showed her mom the slip.
"Rue, love you." Her mom said as we walked away.
"Love you too." Rue said as we went to her room.

The Chronicles of Artharian Dagworth
Back in 2020 there were many theories on how the world would end. From the many religions apocalypses, nuclear wars that would leave the planet inhabitable, global warming doing the same, biological weapons getting out of control, viruses mutating into unstoppable diseases to the dead raising to prey on humanity, either due to a virus or just because hell filled up. Also, aliens, from the war mongering kind to the ones so advanced they didn’t see us as more than worms. And of course there was the fail proof theory that the world would end when the sun died. In a bunch of billion years give or take. Althougth some new scientist were discussing if the end would be on the take side, since when the sun started dying things would go haywire on the entire solar system and we would collide with mercury or maybe mars way before the expanding sun engulfed earth. But I digress… Now, those were the mainstream theories that the everyday Joe, who didn’t know the big secret, worried about. So, if you were to ask me which theory was correct I can tell you that I haven’t seen any little green man, at least not from another planet, and so far the sun is still shining, although it’s been only 9 years since everything went to hell, not the few billions (give or take) the scientist predicted, so that one isn’t ruled out yet. These two aside, I'd say all of them. Hey everyone, this is my first attempt at writing. I have been planning to do it for a really long time, and while this is not the one epic fantasy idea I ever wanted to write, I think it's a good one. The plan is to write an end of the world urban-fantasy series. Think a world like Dresden Files, Alex Verus, Iron druid, where magic is real but exist hidden from society meets the apocalypse. It will be written in first person in the Dresden Files style, no plans for other POV for now. As you probally alredy guessed from my style, english is not my first langague, so while google corrector helps, expect grammar errors, and I'd be gratefull for anyone to point them. I plan to write 2 to 3 chapters a week, 2000-4000 words each. Might change as I get more experience and depends on my free time. Cover image from the colections of getwallpapers.com

HUD: Wargame (Sci-Fi GameLit)
★★★★★UNFRIGGENBELIEVABLE!!!!!! "HUD: Wargame is a sci-fi GameLit worth reading." -TienSwitch ★★★★★Rock-solid FPS GameLit. "Nic - the main character - is an ambitious, hyper-competitive perfectionist, and the story fortunately handles him correctly in that it does not push these traits too far." -Akaso ★★★★★This is a good one! "This is one of those stories where you read the first few paragraphs and can just tell that the author has the chops to tell a story. It's engaging and the rules are well thought out and clearly explained. The action is punchy and exciting. Anyway, read it." -HonourRae In the future, everything is a game. Even war. 18-year-old Nic Sigfried wants the high score. Virtually piloting a real-life robot, he'll face off against his peers with the help of his AI guidance system, RTIFIS. The prize? New worlds across the galaxy that are ripe for human conquest and terraforming. It sounds glamorous on paper, but this job might be more dangerous than he thought... HUD: Wargame is the first of a five-part sci-fi series featuring GameLit elements. HUD: Wargame contains some (simulated) violence and very sparing PG-13 profanity. Updates Monday-Thursday-Saturday.

Read on as he meets many creatures, talks back to doting Gods, and slays countless other beasts on his way to reach his destiny! Written by a brand new author, this is a mainly light-hearted adventure story.
