*Justin's POV*
"You could make another album." Baze suggested. We sat on the patio in the backyard drinking beers.
"But that's what I'm expected to do." I said.
"Be in another movie?" He suggested.
"Eh. I've already done enough movies." I sighed.
"In Time was really good." He told me.
"Thanks." I smiled.
"Alright so what are your good at?" He asked me.
"I'm really good at basketball." I said.
"Play some basketball for a team!" He said.
"Nah. It's more of a hobby than a career." I shrugged.
"You said you wanted to do something that you aren't expected to do right?" He asked me.
"Yeah." I nodded.
"Then how about instead of making another album for yourself. Find a band and make their dreams come true." He suggested. I looked at him and slowly nodded my head.
"I like it." I smiled. He smiled and we high fived.
"Now you just need to find a band." He said.
"Looks like one day we need to go band hunting." I said.
"We?" He raised his eyebrows.
"Yeah! You came up with the idea, you're going to help me. Think of it as a partnership." I said.
"Partnership?" He asked me.
"Yeah! We split everything fifty fifty." I explained to him. "You in?" I asked him.
"Yeah." He smiled. We clinked our beers together and took a drink.
"This is going to be good." I smiled.
Now all I need is a band!
*Ariana's POV*
Why can't this school day just be over already? Thank God it's the last period of the day, but my teacher is the crazy fan of my dad. This is going to be great.
I walked into the room and she smiled at me.
"How was the tour Ariana?" She quickly asked me.
"Good." I nodded as I made my way to my desk. I got to my desk and sat down.
"How's your dad?" She smiled.
"Good." I answered.
"And Jess?" She asked me. This time she didn't smile.
"Okay I guess." I slowly said. This woman scares me! She's obsessed with my dad! I'm pretty sure she does not like Jess!
"If I was married to him I would be amazing." She said quietly.
"Excuse me?" I raised my eyebrows. She looked at me and the class silently.
"Nothing." She finally said. I looked over at Lacy who was in this class with me. She quietly laughed and so did I.

"Is there something funny Miss Timberlake and Miss Pitt?" She glared at us.
"Yeah." I said. "We were laughing at how you said that if you were married to my dad you would be amazing." I smiled. The whole class quietly laughed while she looked embarrassed. "Just to let you know my step mom is doing amazingly well since she's married to my dad." I smiled.
"Let's get class started." She quickly said. I smirked and looked over at Lacy, who was laughing so much she had tears streaming down her face.
"Good one." She whispered to me.
"Thanks." I laughed. I then looked forward at the front of the room. Okay maybe my day just got a little better, but I still have to deal with my dad when I get home.
*Justin's POV*
Baze and I still sat outside together talking about our amazing plan.
"Justin?" I heard someone say. I looked and saw Jess standing there looking perfect as always.
"Hey babe." I smiled. She smiled and walked up to us. She gave me a kiss on the cheek and smiled at Baze.
"You must be Baze. I remember seeing you in Justin and Jimmy's picture on Twitter." She said.
"That would be me." He smiled.
"Well it's nice to finally meet you." She smiled at me. She then looked at me. "So Ariana texted me about the breakfast." She said.
"I tried!" I laughed.
"I'm taking you to a cooking class one of these days." She laughed.
"I'll just have Ellen teach me how to cook! I'm going on her show in a couple days." I said.
"Good idea. She can really cook." Jess nodded.
"Ellen Degeneres?" Baze asked us.
I nodded, "Yeah that Ellen." I said.
"Are you taking Ariana to that show?" Jess asked me. "I know Ellen wanted to meet her." She said.
"Yeah and I'm gonna take her to the People's Choice Awards." I told her.
"We need to talk about the People's Choice Awards." She frowned.
"Okay. We can tonight." I nodded. She smiled and nodded.
"Alright I'll be out of your hair, boys. Have fun." She smiled at us. She then went inside the house.
"I wonder if Jimmy is done with his interview." I wondered. "I'm gonna call him." I said. I pulled out my phone and dialed his number.
"Hey man." He answered.

"Hey. You done with your interview?" I said.
"Yeah." He answered. "Why?" He asked.
"Baze is over at the house if you wanna come over." I told her.
"I'm on my way!" He cheered. He hung up the phone and I laughed.
"He's coming." I said.
"Sweet." Baze nodded. Soon Jimmy walked into the backyard.
"What's up!" He smiled.
"Hey." Baze and I smiled. Jimmy sat in a chair next to ours and I handed him a beer.
"Thanks." He said as he opened it.
"So how was the interview?" I asked him. He took a drink of his beer and smiled.
"It was actually really fun. We talked about Winnie a lot." He smiled. He always looks so happy when he talks about Winnie.
"Ever since he had his daughter, whenever he talks about her he gets this happy look on his face." I explained to Baze.
"You get the same look when you talk about Ariana." Jimmy said to me.
"No I don't!" I shook my head.
"Yes you do. Whenever you tell someone about how good she is at basketball." He said.
"Correction she's amazing at basketball." I smiled.
"There's the look." Jimmy laughed.
"Do I have a look?" I asked Baze.
"Yeah man." He laughed as he nodded.
"Well I'm sure Baze gets that look." I smiled at him.
"You have a daughter?" Jimmy smiled.
"Yeah a couple months ago I found out about her." He smiled. He then explained the whole story about how him and Cate got Lux.
"That's crazy." Jimmy said. "Hey you're just like Justin!" He smiled.
"We know." Baze and I nodded.
"So Baze and I have made a plan." I said.
"What kind of plan?" Jimmy asked us.
"Well Justin couldn't figure out what he's going to do now that he's tour is over, so we're going to find a talented band and make their dreams come true." Baze explained.
"Sweet!" Jimmy smiled.
"You wanna be apart of this?" I asked him.
"Of course!" He smiled.
"Yes!" I smiled.
"Dad." I heard someone say. I look and saw Ariana.
"Hey kid." I smiled. She walked up to us.
"Hey Uncle Jimmy." She smiled at Jimmy.
"Hey goddaughter." He smiled.
"Who's this?" She asked about Baze.
"This is Baze. Baze this is my daughter Ariana." I smiled.
"Hi." She smiled.
"Hey." He smiled.
"So what can I do for you my wonderful daughter?" I asked her.
"Tell me you did not forget." She glared at me.
"About what?" I asked her.
"Getting my driver's license!" She said. Oh man I forgot.
"I didn't forget. I just wanted to make sure you remembered." I lied. My hand then went threw my hair. Dammit.
"You just lied!" She said. I sighed and nodded.
"I'm sorry Ariana." I apologized.
"No don't be." She shook her head. "This just makes everything so much better." She said before walking back inside the house.
"I'll be back." I told my friends. I quickly went inside the house and found Ariana in the kitchen making a snack. "Ariana I'm sorry." I apologized again.
"No dad. Stop with the apologies." She said. "First you tell Jonathan to watch out for me because you are worried and now this." She sighed.
"He told you?" I asked her.
"Yes." She said.
"I'm going to kill him." I sighed.
"Why are you worried about me so much? I'm fine dad." She said.
"You've been through a lot Ariana." I said.
"Is this because of what happened at the concert?" She asked me. I sighed and didn't answer her. "Answer me." She said.
"Yes Ariana. This is about what happened at the concert. Seeing you like that hurt me. It hurt Jess too!" I said. "I just want to look out for you, okay?" I sighed.
"I don't need someone to look out for me." She sighed.
"I'm just trying to be there for you Ariana. I just want to make sure you're okay." I said.
"I'm fine." She said.
"If you say so." I said. She then continued to make her snack. "Tomorrow I'll take you to get your license. I promise." I told her.
"Okay." She said without looking at me.
"You still up for going to Ellen's show with me?" I asked her.
"Yeah." She nodded.
"What about the People's choice awards?" I asked her.
"Sure." She nodded.
"Alright." I said. I then left the kitchen and went back outside.
I know she's not fine. I know my daughter and she just isn't fine.
