*Ariana's POV*
Everyone sat at the dinner table at Gramps and Mam's house. Dad already teased Jonathan about having girlfriend. Jonathan still hasn't told Gramps and Mam about Haley. Everyone, including me who knows about her keeps on looking at Jonathan, trying to figure out when he is going to tell them.
"Mom, Dad I have to tell you something." Jonathan suddenly said. We all looked at him and then at my grandparents. This is it!
"What is it, Son?" Gramps asked him.
"You remember on Friday night when I went on a date?" He slowly said.
"Oh my God, did you get that girl pregnant?" Mam gasped. Gramps looked at Mam in shock, Jonathan gasped and everyone else started laughing.
"Why are you five laughing?" Gramps asked us.
"Because it's not that." I laughed.
"Then what it is?" He asked us.
"I'm dating her. I have a girlfriend." Jonathan told them. The two looked at their son in shock.
"Aw, he has a girlfriend!" Mam smiled. She got out of her chair and hugged him. "My baby is growing up." She smiled as she hugged him tightly.
"Mom, I'm not a baby." He groaned.
"But you're my baby." She smiled and kissed his cheek before going back to her seat.
"Jonathan got a girlfriend!" Stephen started to chant, so Lacy and I joined him. Then Dad joined in!
"C'mon guys." Jonathan shook his head.
"We're just so happy for you!" Stephen smiled at his brother.
"My little brother is growing up." Dad pretended to wipe away a tear.
"When do we get to meet her?" Jess asked him.
"Eh a couple months." He shrugged. "I don't want you all to meet her, fall in love with her and then something happen and we break up." He said. "It's a little to soon to have her meet the family." He added.
"Good point." Gramps nodded. Suddenly Dad's phone began to ring. He looked at it and answered it.
"Hey Jim." He answered. "Yeah." He sighed. "Alright." He nodded. He then gave me the phone.
"Hello?" I answered.
"So you got in a fight." Uncle Jimmy said.
"Yeah." I said.
"Put me on speaker." He told me.
"Okay." I said. I then put the phone on speaker. "You're on speaker now." I told him.
"Alright who all saw the fight?" He asked everyone.

"Lacy, Stephen and me." Jonathan answered.
"How badass was it?" He chuckled.
"Very." They all three laughed.
"And how bad was the girl's face?" He asked them.
"It looked terrible!" Lacy laughed.
"She had a bloody nose." Jonathan said.
"Hey, you can't forget about her two black eyes!" Stephen laughed.
"How's your face Ariana?" He asked me.
"Fine. She didn't get a hit in." I smiled. "My fists hurt though." I added.
"Damn girl!" He laughed.
"Wait till you see the video of the fight I took!" Lacy smiled.
"I wanna see this!" Uncle Jimmy said.
"Me too!" Dad smiled.
"Lacy send him the video and we'll watch it when he gets it. Then we all can watch at the same time." I said.
"Actually Lacy, send it to Nancy's phone so her and I can watch it together. Then we can still stay on the phone." He told her.
"Okay." Lacy nodded.
"I gotta get Nancy. Hang on." He said. We heard him get up. "Nancy!" He yelled. We all laughed.
"What?" We heard Aunt Nancy yell back.
"Ariana got in a fight at school and we have to watch the video!" He yelled to her. We heard loud footsteps and then we heard Aunt Nancy's voice.
"Ariana, why did you get in a fight?" She asked me. I sighed and explained everything. "Well that bitch deserved it." She said.
"Lacy have you sent the video?" Uncle Jimmy asked Lacy.
"Yeah." She answered.
"I got it!" Aunt Nancy cheered.
"Alright let's watch!" I smiled. Everyone at the table huddled around Lacy since she had the video on her phone. "Alright hit play!" I smiled.
"Damn!" Everyone cheered when they saw me slap Grace. After the video was over, everyone cheered.
"I just got more prouder." Dad smiled at me.
"Well Justin, our daughter is a badass." Jess smiled at him.
"She sure is." He smiled at me. "But fighting still isn't the right thing to do!" He told me.
"I know Dad, I know." I laughed and nodded my head. He of course had to tell me that again.
"I am so proud of you, Goddaughter." Uncle Jimmy told me.
"Thanks, Uncle Jimmy." I smiled.
"Alright well we'll let you guy's get back to your dinner. Bye guys!" He told us.

"Bye!" We all said. I then hung up the phone and handed it back to my Dad.
"Well that was a interesting video." Gramps said to me.
"It sure was." I smiled at him.
"How long did you get suspended?" He asked me.
"Five days." I answered.
"What?" Stephen, Jonathan and Lacy all gasped at my answer. I looked at them and sighed.
"Yeah." I nodded.
"This is cruel! We won't see you in five days!" Lacy said.
"You three can come over and hang out sometime during her suspension." Dad told them.
"They can?" I smiled at him.
"Yeah." He nodded. "You're still grounded though." He added.
"Thanks, Dad." I smiled at him.
"You're welcome." He smiled back at me. I then looked back at my three best friends.
"See! You'll see me some time during my suspension!" I smiled at them. They all sighed with relief.
"Thank God." Jonathan said. "Do you know how boring our lives would be if our group wasn't together?" He sighed.
"Very boring." Stephen and Lacy nodded.
"But what will we do at school without her?" Lacy sighed.
"We'll have to figure something out." Stephen sighed.
"This is terrible." Jonathan shook his head. He then looked at me. "I hope you're happy!" He said.
"Oh Jonathan, I am. I got to beat the crap out of Grace, twice now." I smiled at him.
"Now that just made me happy." Lacy smiled at me. "Thank you, my sister from another mister." She said.
"You're welcome, my sister from another mister." I smiled back at her. Stephen looked at Jonathan and smiled.
"What's up, my. brother from another mother?" He smiled at him. Jonathan frowned at him.
"Stephen, we have the same mother." He sighed and shook his head.
"Oh, yeah." Stephen smiled.
"Sometimes I wonder how you're my brother?" Jonathan sighed.
"Stephen was the last one to be born. All the good genes got used on us." Dad Said to Jonathan.
"Well that explains a lot." Jonathan said.
"Hey, I got some good genes! Do you see this face? I'm hot!" Stephen argued.
"Psh, not hotter than me." Jonathan disagreed.
"Are you serious? Look at me. I'm the hottest." Dad pointed to himself.
"Justin, you aren't hot." Stephen shook his head.
"Uh according to all the women and teenage girls in the world, I am." He smiled. "Plus look at my daughter!" He pointed to me. "You see all that beautiful? Yeah, my genes made all that!" He added.
"Aw thanks Dad!" I smiled at me.
"I only speak the truth." He smiled. "Plus I think Jess would agree with me that I'm hot. Right Jess?" He smiled at Jess.
"Eh." She shrugged.
"Jessica Claire Timberlake!" Dad gasped. Jess then laughed at him and shook her head.
"I'm just kidding." She kissed his cheek. "My baby is sexy." She told us.
"So are you." Dad smiled at her.
"I'm right here guys." I rolled my eyes, which caused everyone to laugh. "You two make me sick." I said.
"You know what makes me sick?" Dad asked me. "Having to see my daughter with a hickey on her neck." He frowned.
"Psh that doesn't make me sick and that's all that matters." I smiled.
"Ariana." Dad glared at me.
"I only speak the truth, Dad." I smirked at him. He sighed and shook his head.
"One more year, one more year." He said to himself, causing Jess and I to laugh. Nobody understood our inside joke.
"What's 'one more year' mean?" Gramps asked.
"One more year till she turns eighteen." Dad chuckled.
"He's counting down the days!" I laughed.
"I sure am!" He laughed. Everyone laughed at us.
"I think I deserve that award for having to deal with you two. Can I have it now?" Jess said to us.
"We'll get it made, don't you worry!" Dad smiled at her.
"It'll be perfect!" I smiled. "Hey, that's something we could do on one of my suspension days!" I said to Dad.
"Good idea!" He smiled. "These five days are our father daughter bonding time!" He added.
"Yes! Golfing, basketball and playing pranks on Jess all week!" I cheered. We then high fived.
"What wait?" Jess glared at us.
"Nothing." We quickly said.
"That's what I thought." She smirked and slowly nodded her head.
"Can we play some on Uncle Jimmy?" I asked him.
"Hell yeah!" He smiled. We then high fived again.
Maybe these five days off won't be so bad.

Thomas the Brawler
Thomas doesn't remember what his last name was, before it became Bluebrim, a name belonging to another universe. He's also pretty sure he wasn't this stupid before he arrived, but what can you do, when a day that was supposed to begin with an interview to set your life back on track instead begins in a universe that makes no sense, with rules you can't begin to understand? Maybe he should have paid more attention to the avatar creation screen ... Content warnings: All of them. Seriously. Expect lots of blue screens to begin with. Don't expect a power-leveling fantasy, in which the lone hero beats up all the bad guys, and gets a harem of women. There's just a guy who treats character creation like an annoying series of pop-up advertisements, and the story is basically the ramifications of that. The main character has to learn to take the world he's found himself in seriously, and he'll learn the way most of us do, by doing it wrong first. This is, insofar as it is successful, a dark comedy fantasy. Also a bit of horror, particularly but not exclusively body horror. I'm pretty sure I've earned those Content Warning tags, so, uh, yeah. This is practice. Hopefully things improve as I go, and figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I make no guarantees things will ever get better. I've already made mistakes, I'll make more, and I'm happy to notice them each time I make them. You don't improve unless you fail. (On the plus side, it probably won't get much worse.) Feel free to point out anything you think I'm doing wrong; I don't promise to change anything, particularly if it's a matter of taste, but I am looking to improve, and figuring out what I need to improve goes faster if I don't have to try to figure it out myself. I've updated the earlier chapters for formatting, in the hope that it would make everything easier to read on mobile devices. Hopefully things work slightly better now, but please let me know if there are any issues anywhere.
