" Do you realise what could have happened to her yesterday ? " Said Dhai Ma looking at me being disappointed as she spoke in a very serious tone.

Looking down , I sat near her for the discussion she had called me up on. I spoke exhaling a long breath.

" Yes Dhai Ma. "

It was just me and Dhai Ma in her room .

I could hear brids chirping and hopping on the windowsill of the room while cold morning wind blew though it. I woke up late as I slept late last night and so I quickly completed the daily course of my morning routine and hurried my way here.

" I visited her yesterday twice and she seemed shaken by that dreadful incident.

I am sure that she is still not doing well and that is very much obvious for any girl who went through that horror even if she was saved from that terrible disaster which was about to ruin her whole life." Said she , being concerned and sad for Nandini.

I nodded being speechless as I had nothing to say. I somewhere blamed myself for that incident which occurred yesterday, I should have been a more careful about it ........ but what could I have done to stop it , ....when I never saw that coming.

" Siddharth , you know that the girl you have held captive is daughter of the man whome you hate the most ....... but I think you are not blind and not naive to ignore the fact that this girl is known for her beauty in far lands. Many kings and Princes are in standing in queue to take her hand as their bride. "

She continued

" ..... a girl who is young and an owner of such a mesmerizing beauty is not safe if she has no guardian to protect her and so ,..... it will be better if you send her back to her father's safe hands." Said Dhai Ma maintaining her serious tone.

My eyes darted at her as soon as her sentence completed expressing disagreement to her opinion.

" NOT IN MY LIFE " I yelled alound.... but.... in my mind.

" I am afraid Dhai Ma. That is not the rule and anyway it's not happening. Not on my watch." Calming myself, I said flatly. A tinch of annoyance reflecting in my voice as I am already hating this subject of our discussion.

" Humm.... " she paused to think

"Then , as she is your prisioner . Put her in the dungeons. Atleast there she will be safe." Said Dhai Ma looking at me.

I knitted my brows and looked at her being confused as well as shock as if she just told me that ' sun arises from north ' , while she looked okay about what she just said .

" WHATTTT ?!! "

I stiffen being uncomfortable by just thinking about locking poor Nandini away for life time only to keep her safe.

" This is so not an option .I wish I could had said this to Dhai Ma whatever I am murmuring in my mind but I have to just say something else to her about it at the same time suppressing my emotions. "

I spoke to myself internally.

" If I'd wanted to put her away I would have done that long back. How can that be even an option Dhai Ma? And more over I am suprised to hear it from you. How can you be so harsh on her when you, yourself say that she is just an innocent girl ?? " I said in an suprised tone again showing a disapproval to what she presented in front of me as an option.

Hearing me, she looked elsewhere and spoke again

" You don't want to send her back to her , you don't want to put her in the dungeons than I think there is only last option left..... and you should agree to it ."

I don't know why I didn't had a very good feeling about this third option too.

" Find a good king or a Prince and get her married." She spoke.

Listening this I just sprang up from my seat.

" WHATTTT ?? "

shaking my head in irritation I asked

" I am sorry Dhai Ma but before you go on . I want to tell you that we don't have to discuss about this ?? "

" We have to Siddharth .... and you being a King , it is very much your responsibility. So. YOU have to .... whatever is going on if you can't see it.... Then its my duty to make you see through ...... and I wouldn't have said a word if that incident hadn't occurred with that girl. .... So sit down Son and hear me out."

Wearing a frown on my face I sat back to my seat obeying her. After a long pause between us.

" Do you have anyone in your mind ...who will be eligible for her.??" She spoke.

" No ". I said quickly being pissed .

" Oh !! ? ..... What about your friend Surya Pratap ?? He will be absolutely fit for her. They both will surely compliment each." She said in a cheerful tone with light in her eyes.

After Listening to THIS. I failed to sit any calmer and instantly stood up again.

"I want to puke . HELL . NO ." I fumed internally about my sweet Dhai Ma's choice.

" Yeah...... absolutely.......If she impossibly ... EVER....get married to him he will surely force her to drink alcohol with him and watch vulgar dancing of nude women .Just the way he forced me to." I said furrowing my brows in displeasure .

" Oh my God . He did ?? He wasn't like that was he .?" Asked Dhai Ma looking shocked.

" He was always like that and she will suffer after ending up with him which will be even worst than to lock her up in the dungeons . SO .NO...... I. SAY. NO . She doesn't have to marry a moron. " I was now visibly pissed while my face only frowned a bit more in every passing moment in this discussion. When l looked at Dhai Ma I noticed a flick of amusement in her expression but she quickly went back to her serious mode.

Dhai Ma's expressions grew even more serious as she stood up to speak.

" Hummm .. actually you are right. She shouldn't get married to any other..... "

" .....unless..... You Marry Her." She emphasised her last words and pinned me with her gaze .

I looked at her dumbfounded .

" How can I marry her?? " I looked elsewhere to avoid our eye contact.

" Why can't you ?? When clearly you in LOVE with her." She said looking into my eyes meaning her every word.

I looked at her with my broad eyes in surprise.

" There is no need to look at me like that Siddharth ." She spoke instantly.

" What do you think I don't see anything and will never come to know about your feelings for her?? I have seen it in your eyes that how deeply you have fallen for her."

I walk a few steps near the window and streatched my hands on the sill and looked out.

" Its not like that Dhai Ma " I said softly , somewhere finding a way to wrong her facts but at the same time I wanted her to know that she was exactly right about it.

" Is it ?. Now you are really going to tell me that?? Tell me that you don't stare at her secretly when she is far from you, busy doing her work ?? Tell me that you don't feel affectionate for her ?? Tell me you have never secretly desired for her ?? ........ Trust me..... It is very difficult to hide you feelings especially when you are in love, My child." she spoke walking a little closer to me. I turned to look at her while she smiled a little.

"....... I may not have given birth to you but I know you more than you do about yourself . "

She continued

" .....And what is the problem ?? She is a Princess. You are a King . It will be perfect."

" Why will she agree to marry me and more over how can I ?? Where I had pledged to avenge my father's and aunt's death ?? I cannot just go and marry her like that. " I spoke openly about what I felt

In this matter for the first time to Dhai Ma which by the way felt like a relief.

" Listen my child. Whatever has happened to your family was a worse thing a child would go through but .... This feeling..... of ' REVENGE' ... has never done any good to anyone . More than your enemies..... It will only burn you more from inside in every worst ways possible . It will only end up snatching away your joyful present and will never allow you to have your peace. And who are we to punish someone when All Mighty God is there to rightfully delivery everybodies due for their sins.." Dhai Ma spoke in a her soft motherly tone and place her warm wrinkled hand on my shoulder standing very next to me.

She continued

" .... I see You don't wish to be parted from her but you have to understand that

Everyone in this kingdom knows that she is your enemy's daughter and it is very obvious that not everyone will be friendly towards her even if she is totally innocent. Most of them will always try to harm her especially when there is no one looking out for her."

" ......And with a beauty like that , she will unknowingly draw lustful attentions towards her. You tell me .... Siddharth..... ?? How many Shamdevs are you going to stop or kill before they touch her with their filthy hands ??"

Listening to Dhai Ma's words every single moment of yesterday's nasty incident flash played infront of me eyes Refreshing up my horror of what could have happened to Nandini if I wouldn't have reached on time. Every word spoken by Dhai Ma was wise and right.

I stood looking out of the window at the bright daylight while thinking deep about the matter and finally came to a decision.

I clapped my hands twice . A guard appeared at the door.

" You Highness ??" Said a gaurd voice.

" Call the Royal high priest . Tell him he have to fix A WEDDING DATE.... ".
