Two years later-

I signed the documents and looked up at the time, 12.30 am.

Alex had a dinner meeting with his new client and has still not come home. I spent over an hour on call with Sara but as time was passing worriness had started taking over me.

It took Sara and me time, time to see each other again in different lights. At first we'd both meet up and not talk at all, we didn't really have anything to talk about but I guess, we understood that we were both each other's only family and even if we weren't close to each other, family comes first. Slowly with time, We made small amends, things as small as Sara getting her favourite cookies for me from abroad and setting it on the table without saying anything.

Others don't understand us, like we understand ourselves. We grew up thinking what's happening around is normal, while I grew up thinking my mom probably loved me Sara grew up thinking mom hated her. She grew up thinking that not having something as small as teal eyes was gods sign of saying her mom hated her. Both of ours childhood took a troll on us, but after numerous counselling sessions with each other and spending time together, we had become close.

We shared something similar to what Alex and Xander share, except Sara had become extremely protective of me. She tried to make up for our lost time by putting me first, always telling me that I'm the younger one. Two months ago when Alex was away on a business trip and coincidentally Maya had a emergency rise up, Sara took over. She'd spend all day long learning how to cook for me, washing me up if I'd puke, she did everything she could. I know she still beats herself over what happened in the past sometimes but hopefully, it'll be just fine with time.

Oh, and, if I'm being honest, there's definitely something going on with Xander and Sara but that's a story for another time.

Suddenly the doorbell ringed making champ bark and I immediately got up while running to open the door, gasping immediately after.

"Good evening ma'am, sir had a dinner meeting but then when he came back he was drunk. Have a good night!" The driver wished me and bowed slightly taking a leave immediately after while Alex's body leaned on mine.

"Ummmm, I want...to go home. I w-won't drink, my w-wifey i-is waiting for me, Prince-princesssss" Alex mumbled while trying to stand up even though most of his body weight was still on me.

"6 minutes, that's how long it takes for the brain to start to react to alcohol. How long were you drinking, safe?" I asked, brushing the hair on Alex's forehead.

Alex hardly ever drank too much, and the few times when he did, he'd become a total baby.

"I-I d-did n-not drink and S-safe? Don't call me that! Princ-princess calls me t-that. Only prince-princess, my princess." Alex huffed and pulled back while staring at me with angry but doe eyes making me smile.

"Hmm, who's princess?" I asked in a teasing voice while holding Alex's hand again, leading him to our bedroom.

"Princess? Princess is b-beautiful, she's my S-sunshine, she l-loves me. I-I'm not as affectionate a-as she is, b-but I love her the m-most. S-she is v-very intell-Intelli- Ummm" Alex frowned.

"Intelligent?" I asked and Alex looked up at me with big eyes and a smile.

"YES! In-intelligent. I l-love her SO MUCH" Alex said, opening up his arms as if to show me how much making me chuckle.

I helped Alex sit on the bed comfortably and pulled out his sweats pants and T-shirt to change into.

"You're very affectionate to your princess, she loves you too" I mumbled, placing a soft kiss on Alex's forehead making him giggle.

Ahh, see what I mean when I say he becomes a baby?

If Alex drinks under stress, he becomes very quiet and shuts down otherwise, he's just a big emotional baby.

"Ummm, I w-want to sleep. W-will you tell Pr-princess that I l-love her?" Alex asked while laying back on the bed while his shoes were still on making me sigh.

"Hmm, why did you drink so much with your clients?" I asked making Alex frown.

"I d-did not! I S-swear, I didn't dr-drink more than one fl-flute of white wine." Alex explained making me shake my head, he drank so much that he didn't even remember how much.

At first, when I saw Alex drunk it scared me a little. Past had taught me that drinking got the worst out of people, but again, this was Alex we were talking about. He won't even harm me in his dreams, he tends to treat me like I'm some fragile piece of glass that's about to break and if you'd argue he'd always say, 'you're my fragile piece of glass, the only mine."

I quickly took off Alex's shoes and started unbuttoning his shirt only to be pushed back roughly and screamed at, "S-STOP, I-I'm m-married. I-I told you!"

I cleaned my throat and held Alex's face in my hands, giving him a quick peck on his lips trying to calm him down but the next thing I knew his eyes were full of tears.

"No, I-I cheate-cheated on p-princess. I o-only love h-her, W-what will I-I tell h-her now?" Alex mumbled, looking down while a tear slid down his face making me want to laugh but also feel sorry.

"Alex, look here, I'm your princess. See, it's me, your Sierra?" I said and looked up straight into Alex's eyes.

Alex slowly put both his hands on my cheeks softly while scrunching his eyebrows, "princess?"

I smiled, "hmm, I don't look pretty now?"

Alex immediately shook his head, "n-no, you are the prettiest! I-I l-love you!"

I smiled while placing my forehead against Alex's and kissing the top of his nose, "I love you too"

"Now, come on, let's change!" I said pulling back making Alex's frown again.

"I don't w-want to c-change," He said while laying back again, on the bed.

"If you don't change, no cuddles?" I stated and the man in front of me immediately got up putting his hands up so that I could open his shirt making me chuckle.

Once Alex was changed, I slid into the bed laying next to him while he nuzzled my neck.

"Good night, you big baby"

The next morning, I woke up to Champ licking my entire face making me giggle at the fur baby's love.

'Hi love, where's your daddy, I thought he'll have a hangover today?" I asked while running my hands through Champs body.

Champ barked twice and I slowly got up to see a sticky note placed on top of my phone.

'Good morning love,My heads paining real bad and I genuinely don't remember how much I drank last night but thank you for taking care of me. I had an early morning meeting and thankfully, I had set my alarm the day before yesterday, which is why I left early. I'll see you at work, Safe'

I frowned thinking about how Alex must be feeling right now, he probably has the worst headache ever.

Since it was Saturday today, I had work till 6 pm.

Alex decided to connect all the subsidiary companies to the main office building, which is why we worked in the same place now. All the senior members of the subsidiary companies worked besides Alex in the main office building, no one knew that I was Alex's wife in the office. It was a mutual decision, we just didn't feel comfortable letting everyone know.

We didn't necessarily hide the fact that we were married, because I did accompany Alex to events, but it was very rare and Alex usually made sure that there was very limited knowledge about our personal life to the public.

The shareholders of our company knew, but other than that, it was something no one bought up.I quickly got changed into a tweed skirt with silk shirt and arranged all the files I had to take to work with me and stepped out to see Maya in the kitchen.

"Good morning, well afternoon- since I overslept!" I wished and quickly hugged Maya while taking out some vegetables from the fridge.

"Afternoon, darling, what are you doing?" Maya asked, looking at me with her head tilted.

"Alex had a hangover last night, I'll just make some seaweed soup for his hangover, can you pack lunch for both of us, please?" I requested and Maya smiled immediately.

"Don't worry about it, give me ten minutes, also, here's some toast, make sure to eat that!" Maya commanded, making me smile and nod back at her.

After some time, once's everything was done, I entered the office building while greeting all the employees.

"Good afternoon ma'am, how are you today?" Demi, my assistant, asked while bowing down to greet me.

I returned the gesture and smiled, "call me ma'am and you're fired"

Demi chuckled, "it's odd, you're my senior"

I narrowed my eyes and looked back at her, "and you're older to me, call me Sierra, please!"

"Yes maa- I mean, Sierra," Demi said, making me laugh at her attempt. I knew she'd go right back to calling me 'ma'am' in the next one hour.

"Umm, I think our schedule is pretty free for today, right?" I asked while Demi nodded making me sigh happily.

"In that case, I'll be back in an hour or two, I have to get a few things checked, is that all right?" I asked and Demi smiled at me, leaving my cabin.

I quickly took the food I got from home which was hidden in my bag and headed to Alex's cabin,

"Good afternoon Ms Smith, is Mr Taylor in his office?"

Ms Smith was Alex's new assistant since his old assistant had to go back home because of his mom's bad health.

"Yes ma'am, he just came back from a meeting." I nodded and went to Alex's cabin, knocking on the glass door softly.

"Come in," said a groggy voice making me sigh internally.

I opened the door and made sure it was closed before turning to Alex, "hello Mr Taylor?"

"Hello to you too, Mrs Alex Taylor. How are you, today?" Alex asked, teasing me.

"Bad, I think, how'd you be if you don't wake up in your husband's arms on a weekend?" I said, In a teasing voice.

"Ahh, Is your husband that important?" Alex asked smirking.

"Very, if you see him, you'd be in awe of him." I said, now smiling, "bad headache?"

Alex nodded, opening his arms and I quickly took his lead making my way to him and sitting in his lap.

"Ahh, you know you have a bad alcohol tolerance but you drank it, here, I got you some soup. Remember when I told you that when you drink alcohol, your liver produces a toxin called acetaldehyde, which is the culprit for that awful hangover and is said to be 10-30 times as toxic as alcohol." I said, opened up the box which had soup inside it.

Alex scrunched up his face, "don't like that"

I placed a quick kiss on Alex's cheek, "have some please, it'll help you feel better. Don't you want to enjoy in the evening when Mary, Xander and Ian come for movie night?"

Alex sighed and finally opened his mouth as I feeded him.

"What's that, are we suspending someone?" I asked when I saw the white envelope with a red flag on it lying on Alex's desk.

"About tha-"

Right before Alex could complete his statement, the door of his office flew open making me gasp.

What the heck, no one ever dared to enter without knocking.

"Ms Smith?" I asked, getting up and now frowning.

"Ms Sierra, what are you doing?" She screeched, now looking at me up and down.

"Oh my god, it makes perfect sense now, you come in late to work and stick to Mr Taylor's and no one says anything to you because you're warming his bed every ni-"

"Ms Smith, watch what you're saying," I stated, now upset at the way she was screaming. I could see people crowding outside Alex's office making the situation worse.

"There's nothing to watch, you don't deserve the position you are in, you basically slept with the owner and climbed your way up, you took advantage of him an-" Ms Smit continued screaming.

"THAT'S ENOUGH" Alex screamed.

"Ms Smith, last night, after the clients left, I finished my drink and suddenly, everything went frizzy. You were with me, do you have anything to say?" Alex said, his voice void, almost scary.

"What-" Ms Smith asked, now looking confused.

"I checked the cameras, you spiked my drink. I know my limits with alcohol, there was no way I'd drink like that in public. At first, I thought, maybe someone spiked your drink too and therefore left my female bodyguard with you but the CCTV shows things very clearly now." Alex explained and various gasps were heard from outside where all the employees were eavesdropping from.

"Does it even matter now, you clearly let your employees use you, Ms Sierra is the perfect exam-" Ms smith continued screeching.

"WATCH WHAT YOU SAY, this woman right here is Mrs Sierra Alex Taylor and is allowed to do whatever she wants with her husband and owes no explanation to anyone, what so ever. You're fired, everyone outside clear up, NOW" Alex was seething with anger at this point.

Various gasps were heard as Ms smith ran out of the office while people scattered back to their places, I turned to Alex and ran my hands through his hair.

"I'm sorry, she said all tha-" Alex apologised but I quickly kissed him, shutting him up.

"It was about time, people knew," I said softly, leaning my head against Alex's chest.

"You didn't want anyone to know, and I understand why now. I'm sorry, it was such a mess, you shouldn't have to explain what you do with your husband to anyone-" Alex continued but I pecked his lips again, he was getting worked up because he was overworked and had a hangover.

"It's good that they know now, I have been coming in late lately-" I said, while Alex picked me up and sat on the couch in his office with me in his embrace.

"And that's okay, you've been completing your work at home, I've seen it" Alex explained making me smile.

"I know you noticed, you notice everything about me. I want to start working from home, anyways" I said making Alex frown.

"But I like having moments like these with you in my office, why do you want to work from home?" Alex asked, making me smile.

"Well, it's difficult to wake up early in the morning when you're pregnant," I Said.

"I know, but I'll miss yo-, wait what?" Alex asked, his face now white.

"What? Didn't you want like five kids, well, I'm placing the cap at two? Ones already on the way" I said, smiling.

"You crazy woman, have I told you that you shake my world and I love you?" Alex asked, his voice now tearing up.

"Ahh, save the tears for tonight, we have to tell everyone, also you've only told me 'I love you' only twice today," I said pouting.

"I love you, princess and you too, angel," Alex said nuzzling into my neck where I could feel teardrops now.

"Angel, what if it's a boy?" I asked

"Well, I already know it's a girl, she's my angel after all"
