The next morning, I woke up to the sun blinding me. I looked at my surroundings and realised I was far from the Pack territory. I was deep I the woods with no idea where I was or where I was going. Suddenly, my stomach started to rumble.

"How about we go and see what we can get to eat. Hopefully, there is a diner or a café or something nearby." Suggested Midnight.

"Good idea." I replied and with the, I picked up my stuff and headed straight, hopefully finding some form of civilisation.

After a while, I managed to find a road. I kept on going along this road and eventually, reached a town. I saw a diner nearby and headed that way.

As I got inside, I sat at a booth, waiting for some service. I perused the menu in the meantime, deciding what I was going to eat. I didn't have much, but I was too hungry to skip a meal.

Suddenly, I heard the door open and an extremely familiar scent hit me.

"Mate!" Exclaimed my Wolf.

"Adonis, is this our mate?" I asked him.

I sniffed deeply and waited for Adonis to give me the all clear. She was beautiful, an Alpha's daughter so I assumed she must be my mate.

"This is not our mate! But her scent is so strong in this room. Ask the Alpha whose room this belongs to." He replied.

I turned to Alpha Dan and asked "Alpha Dan, who does this room belong to? Her scent is very strong here."

Alpha Dan looked at me before replying "This room belongs to our Omega Sophia"

I looked at him in shock. My mate was an Omega?

"Does it matter if she is an Omega? The Moon Goddess obviously thought that she is fit to be our mate and Queen. We need to see her!" Adonis exclaimed.

"May I see her Alpha?" I asked.

"Of course Your Majesty, I will have her sent up to my office immediately." He then turned to his daughter. "Olivia, bring Sophia to my office please."

Olivia looked startled before simply nodding.

We headed to the office, my stomach doing flips knowing soon I will be meeting my mate and taking her back with me to the Palace. We reached the office and I sat opposite the Alpha across his desk. We were small talking for a while until there was a knock on the door. I turned my head towards the door, expecting my mate to enter. To my disappointment, it was the Alpha's daughter.

"Olivia, where is Sophia?" asked Alpha Dan. I was thinking the exact same thing.

"Erm...I can't find Sophia anywhere." She replied timidly, looking towards the ground.

I tried so hard to keep my composure. I took deep breaths, trying to tame my wolf.

"So where is she?" I asked through gritted teeth.

Both Alpha Dan and Olivia looked at me stunned. "I...I don't know Your Majesty." Olivia muttered.

Before I totally lost it, I got up and headed back out of the pack house. I could smell my mate's scent in the air and followed it, determined to find her. I will not be going back without her! I took off my suit jacket and tie and limbered up before following her scent.

I could hear my Beta and Gamma behind me as I ran.

"Gray, you sure you'll be able to find her?" asked Xander.

"I have to find her, I have her scent and I'll be damned if I go back without her." I replied back.

I kept on going and eventually reached a diner.

"I think she is in here." I told my Beta and Gamma.

We all looked at each other before I opened the door. I looked around and followed her scent, but again, even though her scent was strong, I could not see her. This is the most strangest game of hide and seek and I was getting more and more annoyed.

I growled in frustration before I headed through the back. Her scent was still strong.

I gasped, seeing my mate. I had to get out of here before he found me. I ducked under the table and crawled all the way to the back of the diner and out the back door.

I looked behind me and saw him and two others right behind me. I had no choice. I had to run despite knowing I had no chance of outrunning them but I could at least try!

With that, I sprinted like my life depended on it. I could hear thundering footsteps behind me. Unfortunately, as I predicted, I felt someone grab my arms. I felt a tingling sensation travelling up and down my arms, knowing it was my mate. I closed my eyes before he turned me around to face him.

"Mate! Mate! Mate!" exclaimed my wolf. I had to fight the urge to grab him and kiss him senseless.

I felt his hand move to my chin and lift it up.

"Open your eyes mate." Came his sweet, sexy voice huskily. "What is your name?" he asked.

I hesitated before I slowly opened my eyes. I stared into his beautifully mesmerising golden orbs. I fell deep into a trance, unable to look away.

"Sophia." I replied in a daze.

"Beautiful name for my beautiful mate." He replied.

I looked down blushing so bad!

I felt his finger on my chin, lifting it up. Slowly, I saw his face move closer and closer to mine, his eyes closing and I knew what that meant. His lips brushed mine before locking together in a passionate embrace. I closed my eyes as I felt the familiar tingles shoot all through my body before I responded back. I slowly wrapped my arms around his neck as his arms wrapped around my waist.

A sudden noise broke us from our embrace.

"As great as this is, I think we had better head back to the Silver Moon Pack." Said one of the men behind us. "I'm Xander, the Beta." He said, looking at me.

I simply smiled back before nodding my head. Wait. Did he just say 'go back to the Silver Moon Pack?' I looked at my mate panicking. I let him go and stepped back, looking horrified. My mate looked at me perplexed.

"What's wrong mate? Do you not want to go back?" He asked, looking at me concerned.
