《Blue (underconstruction)》(9)What ARE You Actually Doing Here?

"I'm just about tired as a marathon runner." Hope exasperated plopping on her couch.
Roy laughed and sat next to her. "Is it because we just ran through the city?" He asked sliding off his mask.
"Oh probably." She laughed as well.
That was the first time Hope had let anyone in her apartment, but it was just her and Roy.
"I'm going to order a pizza, want some?" She offered getting out her phone.
Roy nods. "Hey, how do you have money or a phone?" He asked.
Hope bit her lip. "Let me order first, then maybe I'll talk." She negotiated and ordered pizza.
The pizza came and Hope sat down taking a slice.
"I feel like if Oliver found out we were eating pizza after the run he'd kill us." Hope laughed.
Roy laughed along too. "I don't know but I haven't had pizza in a lo-o-o-ong time."
Hope looked at him shocked then said with a dead serious expression, "Pizza is heaven."
After an hour of laughing at memories and eating pizza there was silence. Hope was trying to avoid the topic of her past life.
"So do you steal money?" Roy interrogated.
"What?" Hope snapped.
"You don't have a job, so I just assumed you steal money."
She sighed. "No, Roy, I do not steal money. I've said it before, I've had my fair share of foster parents. The last family I was at was an older couple they gave me some." Hope said not wanting him to ask anymore questions, but she was wrong.
"So they gave you money...was this in Starling or did you move here?"
"Roy-" She started. She was going to tell him to back off but his phone rang.
"Saved by the bell." She whispered to herself as he answered.
"Felicity slow down-what? Okay-yup-yeah I'll give her a ride...wh-b-bye?"
"What was that about?" Hope tilted her head.
"Another mission," Roy explained. "Actually there's been a breakout at the police station, but don't think this conversation is over." He demanded.
Hope put her hands up in defeat.
Then they set out for the police station.
He thinks I'm a thief. Hope thought to herself. I don't know how to tell him the truth though, he has his mind set and if thinks or sees me doing something wrong, he'll take me down. Hope shivered.

"You alright?" Roy asked. He tried to look at her but she was behind him on his bike. This is always like this. Hope didn't have a bike. She could feel him glaring though.
"Yeah." she lied. She knew he thought she wasn't what she gave off.
Once getting to the scene. Hope jumped off and before Roy could even get off, a guy attacked her. With a round kick him, the guy fell to the ground unconscious.
"We'll work on that." She heard Oliver before she can saw him.
She shrugged. "I thought I did pretty well....did you take care of the others?"
"Actually, you two are late, but I was just about to start questioning them." Oliver explained.
"On what-sorry, Red didn't fill me in at all." Hope glared at Roy.
Oliver looked at the two confused, but before anything could be said a needle was thrown at the three. Whatever was in it made them hallucinate.
Virago. Oliver realizes.
"Felicity." He called "V-Virago." He mumbled before the villain himself appeared.
With Virago's maniac laugh, Hope got up to take a swing. He stepped out of the way making her more angry. She swung and missed again.
"Ah, little Blue Arrow doesn't fit." He laughed.
Hope's POV-
I didn't know where Virago went but soon Roy was standing in front of me.
"Didn't you get hit too?" I asked.
All I got was an evil smirk in reply.
"Are you going to help me?" I yelled. "I can't even stand up right!"
"You don't fit Hope. You can never make it in Team Arrow. You're a fraud. You're a villain. You don't think I know you?" He asked still smirking.
He was right. I was a fraud. Maybe I was villain.....
"Hope Frost!" My foster mother yelled from the kitchen. I groaned still laying in my bed.
"Get downstairs right now!" She screeched. Literally all of Emerald City could hear her.
I ran to the kitchen holding my arm. I faced the old woman, she was still angry with me.
"Young lady you are 16 years old! You don't have any friends, you don't do you homework, and you don't do anything normal!" She yelled. "But what you do is run into alleys and knock people out! Are you trying to get yourself killed?" She continued to yell with some tears rolling down.

She removed my hand from my arm only to see a newly sowed bullet hole. I spent most of my life when I moved back to Emerald fighting, trying to save the city. I did that to ever city I've lived in.
"I know." I sighed. "All you and your husband have ever wanted is a normal child. I get it."
"I now know why your parents didn't why your parents didn't want you." She chuckled softly.
I glared at her then attacked.
I cursed at her. "How dare you speak of my parents! They're dead!" I yelled then her husband came home. I quickly ran back to my room.
They were in the late 50s. People that old should be nice! But they're rude and mean like all the others.
I sneaked into their room. I saw the news on again.
"Oliver Queen returned again to Starling City! In other news, the Arrow has rounded up more criminals!" The woman smiled.
. I widen my eyes. Then I saw it. A tablet, duffle bag, and money under the bed. They also had a stash of money for me because next week I was being kicked out. I rushed into my room making, The Blue Arrow suit. Finally, I would be like the Arrow I've seen so many times. Then, I escaped that Hell.
That was two years ago.
Now Oliver was standing in front of me.
"Weak! Useless weak girl, if only you had practiced and didn't have an attitude! Maybe then you would have made it-no, you'd still be weak." Oliver snickered. "You'll never get love either."
Then it was Felicity.
"Freak." She muttered before Laura appeared and attacked me.
Everything went dark.
Oliver's POV-
I only had two needles with the cure. Roy said to give the other one to Hope but she wasn't conscious anymore. I rushed over to check her pulse. There was a weak one. I brought her back to help her.
After giving her some blood, it was only an hour until she woke up.
We all turned her around when we heard get up.
"Lay back down." I assured her, but she just glared at me then the rest of us and walked out.
I got up but Laurel and Felicity stopped me.
"Maybe we should talk to her?" Felicity suggested.
"For a few minutes, I need to talk to her too." I explained. They agreed and went after her.
Laurels's POV-
We found Hope walking out.
"Hope! Wait!" I called out and finally reached her. "What's wrong." I asked.
She shakes her head. "Nothing."
After a while of trying to get her to talk I realized she wasn't going to budge so I tried to cheer her up.
"Come on, Hope. The three of us will go out tonight. We'll pick up some boys." I smirked.
She folds her arms. "I can't have two lives." She snapped.
As if on cue Oliver walked over earning a slap across the face.
He looked at me shocked, confused, and angry.
I pulled him to the side.
"What nonsense have you put into her head?" I whispered angrily.
"I haven't said anything to her yet."
"Yes you have! You're going to take her under custody, so you have to act like a father! That means she's allowed to date! She should be able to have a normal life!" I dropped my voice to a quieter whisper.
"Trust me, I haven't said anything." He promised.
"No, I know you haven't said anything directly to her, but this morning you were telling us that you still won't go out with anyone, because you can't have a double life." I sighed turning over to see Hope and Felicity standing in front of Ray Palmer.
"She needs to be happy." I told Oliver before walking over and pulling off a smile.
"Hope! I see you've meet Ray Palmer." I smiled.
"The Atom, yeah hi." She muttered. before walking off.
"Is she okay?" Ray asked.
"No." Felicity and I say together.

It isn't one that test doesn’t test his physical strength, but his strength of character. He is paired up with a shy and traumatized boy name Mien. Hy'Ruh-Ha is a what I consider a chronicle fantasy. It is a fantasy drama coming of age story inspired by slice-of-life stories I've read and watched. It is heavy on the slice-of-life and does move slow. It is low-stakes fantasy. This particular story is romance free.(2 out the of 4 is re-uploaded under this title) And if you are someone who cares, the POV character is asexual. Crossroad(formally labeled as the intermission stories)- is a novella collection continuing the tale where Hy'ruh-Ha. The collection as followed: Wolf- After spending several months in the swamp post, Oeric'Sheldmartin returns to repair the chasm between him and his son, Soletus. However, a ghost from his past comes to haunt him and could ruin the life he's made completely. Note: Wolf is a bit of a character piece. POV character is Oeric. The Priest and the Priestess- A novella written in the POV of Mien and then Kiao after a series of unexpected events that change their lives. Mien's POV- Mien has spent the last couple of years working not only in the infirmary but training to become a combat chanter as part of his penitence. Then one day, a drug addled elf comes into infirmary and changes his perspective of a friend and puts his knowledge to the tests to figure out a mystery effecting children in town. *Spoiler warning* Kiao's POV- Kiao spent most of her time in the infirmary living the same daily secret filled life and until Mien changed it.
