《Blue (underconstruction)》(12) Falling? Pt 1

"Who is Deadshot?" I asked at the dinning table while cutting up my dinner. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me. I continued cutting my food then looked up seeing them all stare at me.
"What?" I asked then looked back down at my food. "I had a dream about a guy named Deadshot. Who is he?"
"A villain, with no heart." Dig mumbled.
"I don't have a heart." I joked.
"That's not funny, Hope." Oliver said.
"No it's true, I swear I don't feel anything." I replied honestly.
I didn't have a heart, only a black hole where it should be.
No one said anything.
"That's not true Hope. You're a hero because you want to protect people." Oliver continued.
I stated quiet and let him carry on.
"You've done so much for this city. You protect people, you've never killed. You've got so much love in you." Oliver smiled down at his food before continuing to eat.
I blushed slightly and continued eating myself.
Thea then sat at the table. "I know everything," she said. "I want to join."
"What?" Oliver asked acting innocent.
I finished my plate and sat there quietly.
"Don't act stupid Ollie. I know you're Green Arrow, Roy's Red Arrow, and the Blue arrow."
"has a name you know, maybe you should learn it." I snapped.
"Hope." Oliver said sternly. His eyes narrowed down to me.
No. I'm an adult now. I should be treated like this. He was glaring at me like I was a five year old who broke an expensive piece of shit!
"Go upstairs. Go to bed." He faintly, but strictly directed.
I grumbled a few words under my breath before bitterly walking up the stairs. I had already forgot what room I had slept in before so I chose a random room.

I wasn't one to follow directions, but I was very tired. I strip down and crawl under the covers.
I hear Thea and Oliver fighting with eachother as I tried to fall asleep.
After I while I heard the door open and someone laid in the bed next to me. I peaked up from the blankets.
"Hope!" Oliver whisper-yelled, surprised.
"Yeah?" I whispered back, half asleep.
"Uh....well, I guess you can stay the night with me. It wouldn't do any harm." He said and laid back on his pillow.
I snuggled up next to him, placing my small hand on his bare chest.

Even until this day his legacy lives on, the Guild of Thieves. This is the tale of the end of thievery. I am currently rewriting the chapters so you can expect two things, a boost in quality(hopefully) and a delay in chapters(unfortunately)

The Errant Otherworlder Watanabe
“In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death, taxes and trucks whom transport men to other worlds.” Meet our titular protagonist Haruto Watanabe, a man who has all the markings of a good protagonist for a generic portal fantasy story. As an overworked office worker, to escape from the grips of crippling capitalist alienation, he had taken up to reading many stories where young men like him were transported to other worlds and enjoyed their lives at a most leisurely pace. Armed with genre-awareness and (what he believes to be) a marketable personality which would make him an easy audience self-insert, he longed for the day the isekai express would take him to his long-awaited adventure to another world. When the fateful day came, where the fair yet harsh mistress that is the fabled truck took Watanabe on one last date to the other side, he was most ready to escape his previous life, ready to embark on an errant so great he’d be most overpowered, his heroics so exceptional and his harem so vast that they would barely fit ten or twenty volumes of an overly long novel made by a desperate author looking for quick cash. Lo and behold however, Watanabe instead found himself in a low fantasy world which lacked severely in the department of any game-like systems, cheat skills or easily charmed damsels in distress. In a setting so antithetical to his established genre savviness or any attempts at power fantasy, how will a man like Watanabe, lacking in strength, wits and courage, manage to survive in a land most foreign to him? This is my first time trying to share to the wider world what I’ve written, and I hope you’ll enjoy reading the errantry of Watanabe as much as I enjoy writing about them. I'll be posting one chapter per week on Sundays, along with extra chapters whenever I get the chance to write more than usual.
