stealthily entered the ship, they heard Ultron's yelling.
"Stark is a sickness!" He yelled.
"Ah, junior." Stark said condescendingly. He landed right in front of Ultron with Steve and Thor at his side. "You're gonna break your old man's heart,"
"If I have to."
Clint, Nat, and Alex waited patiently in the wings. Alex touched the metal of the wall, and the receptors in her gloves sensed the energies of two people on the other side of it. God, she loved her suit.
"Nobody has to break anything." Thor boomed.
"Clearly you've never made an omelet."
Alex rolled her eyes. He is literally a robot Tony.
"He beat me by one second." Tony scoffed.
"Ah, he's funny." Pietro stepped forward. "Mr. Stark. Just like old times, yes?" He glanced down at dormant nukes that sat under them.
"This was never my life." Tony remarked.
"You two can still walk away from this." Steve looked at the twins.
"Oh, we will." Wanda feigned compassion.
"I know you've suffered--"
"Ah, Captain America, God's righteous man. Pretending you could live without a war. I can't physically throw up in my mouth, but--"
"If you believe in peace, then let us keep it."
"I think you're confusing peace with quiet." Ultron spoke to Thor.
"Yeah, uh, what's the Vibranium for?" Tony asked.
"I'm glad you asked that, because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan."
Suddenly, Ultron blasted at Tony, who fell back against the wall. Their armors clanged against each other as they fought mid-air.
Thor grabbed a bot, throwing him over his head. Steve lunged at one, only to be stopped by Pietro in a flash. Wanda controlled Steve's movements, making him unable to retaliate. Then, other men began shooting.
Nat started fighting men off, and Alex followed suit. She froze anyone that shot at her, kicking them over before they could unfreeze. Clint shot his arrows expertly, taking out dozens of men. Tony and Ultron remained fighting in mid-air, ignoring the gunshots.

Pietro ran at his remarkable speed, stopping briefly to deliver an upper cut to Steve's jaw. He also managed to grab Thor's hammer, the momentum sending him down a level.
On that level, Alex was trying her best to take on three men. She swept two of their ankles, grabbing the third by his shoulders to hoist herself onto them. She pulled his hair, and he fell due to the lost energy. The two on the ground were frozen by her clenching her fists.
Then, she saw the blur around her.
"Too scared if you slow down you won't win?" She called as the blur ran circles around her. Suddenly, he stopped, and she was face to face with him.
"I wish you weren't so beautiful, that would make job much easier." He smirked.
"Does that line work on everyone?" She scoffed.
"So far."
The minute he zoomed off, the men on the ground were unthawed. They pulled her down, almost getting her in a choke hold. She triumphed against them, standing up. She ran down the corridor to find the others, but someone was lurking behind her.
"Thor, status?" Steve asked over their intercoms.
"The girl tried to warp my mind. Take special care. I doubt a human can keep her at bay. Fortunately, I am mighty."
Alex scoffed at Thor's ego, expecting no less from him. She had reached another hall, but stopped in her tracks. With a wave of her fingers, Wanda sent Alex into a daze.
She was confused to see the familiar marble corridor of the Asgard castle. She looked down, seeing that she was still wearing her suit.
She kept walking, seeing her chamber door at the end of the hallway. It seemed to get farther and farther the closer she got to it. Finally, she reached it, and stepped inside. The first thing she saw was Loki, wearing leisure clothes that were tight against his skin.
"I've been waiting for you," He spoke with a playful tone.

"For me?"
"Yes, I've grown hopeless without you,"
She looked at him skeptically, but he reached for her hand. His touch, it was so familiar and real. She began to melt in his fingers against hers.
"I've missed you so," His hand then trailed up her arm, goosebumps forming where the fingers had just been. His hand reached up to her collarbone, brushing it on the way to her face. Her eyes fluttered closed, and she let the ghost of his touch overtake her.
His lips inched toward hers, stopping abruptly when they were about to touch.
"It's time for the ball," He spoke.
"What?"
Her eyes opened, and she was in the ballroom. There were men and women all dressed for the occasion, and Alex frantically looked around for Loki.
There he was, sitting atop his throne.
"Ah, my queen, there you are." He held his hand out.
"Your what?"
"My queen, we are celebrating you tonight,"
Alex started to realize that Loki's eyes were lifeless. They held no emotion, whereas in reality, his eyes held every emotion. She dropped his hand.
"What's the matter, darling? We're celebrating you,"
She backed away as he stood up, following her.
"What is this?" She panicked.
"It's your death, Alexandra." He unsheathed a dagger, and inched closer to her.
She turned and ran, her heels clacking against the floor. The hallway kept growing longer and longer the more she ran, and Loki got closer. Then, he grabbed her wrist, and raised his arm above his head.
"Natasha, I'm gonna need a lullaby." Stark flew through the sky, searching for the unleashed Hulk.
"I'm afraid that's not gonna happen, not for a while." Clint spoke. "The whole team is down."
"Alex? Cap? Damn it." Stark grunted. "I'm calling in Veronica."
The Hulk tore through the town, destroying everything in his sight. People screamed, and officials fired their weapons at him. Suddenly, metal columns shot down from the sky, encasing the Hulk. He pounded against the walls from the inside, yelling and screaming.
Then, he broke the case.
Tony initiated his protocol to enlarge the suit, fighting the Hulk. They tore up half the city, but finally, the Hulk was tamed. Bruce looked around at the destruction he caused, and was ashamed.
Meanwhile, the Avengers retreated back to the jet in a daze. Steve almost had to carry Alex back. Everyone was silent on the plane, consumed in their own thoughts.
Alex sat in the corner of the jet, on the floor. Her vision replayed in her head, over and over. She could still feel him touching her, even though it was an illusion. She wondered what powered the vision. Was it their greatest fears, or their deepest desires?
She wasn't about to ask the other's to share their visions.
She pushed her head into her knees. Why have that vision? Of everything she could've visioned about, it had to be him? Just when she was starting to cleanse her mind of his wicked self, he creeps back in. She wondered where he was, what he was doing. A tear slid down her face, unnoticed by everyone. Did he miss her at all?
Alex instantly regretted the thought, and put her mind elsewhere.
"The news loves you guys, but nobody else does. They haven't called for Banner's arrest, but, it's up in the air." Hill spoke to Tony. "How's the rest of the team,"
"They're, well," Tony looked around. "We took a hit. We'll shake it off."
"I'd stay in stealth mode, and far away from here."
"So, run and hide?" Tony rose his eyebrows.
"Until we find Ultron, I don't have anything else to offer."
"Neither do we."
Tony switched her off, and approached Clint, who was driving the jet.
"You wanna switch out?"
"No, I'm good. We're still a few hours out,"
Tony furrowed his brows. "Few hours from where?"
"A safe house."
