"Look at me daddy!"

You told him excitedly,

standing there impatiently as you

waited for him to look away from

his phone screen.

"What am I looking at?"

He searched your face.

"My bunny ears..."

You breathed out.

"I'm a bunny daddy"

"Oh?"

He grinned,

pulling you in between his legs,

gripping your face in his hand and

kissing you firmly.

"You're a cute little bunny huh?"

"Mhm"

You smiled at him toothily.

"Can we go outside now?

Are we doing an easter egg hunt?"

"A what?"

He raised an eyebrow.

"An easter egg hunt daddy..."

You trailed off into a short silence.

"You didn't get me any chocolate bunnies?"

"Shit"

He ran a hand through his hair,

an irritated sigh leaving his mouth.

"I fucking forgot baby.

I came home late last night,

I didn't fucking realise...

Daddy will sort something out alright?"

"This sucks!"

You huffed,

pulling off your bunny ears and

leaving them on the bed.

"You ready?"

He appeared in the archway to the living

room a few hours later as you

sat there on the floor,

feeling deflated as you tried to focus on animated bunny movie but it didn't feel the same.

"Ready for what?"

You answered him quietly,

avoiding his eyes on you.

"What do ya mean ready for what?"

He scoffed,

looking at you like you were

being difficult.

"Go get 'cha little bunny ears and

meet me outside hm?"

furrowing your eyebrows in confusion,

you retrieved your bunny ears from

the place you left them,

stepping out onto the patio and into the garden.

"Oh my god..."

You froze,

staring at the garden covered in

chocolate eggs and bunnies,

hidden in places they would take you hours

to find because there was so many.

"Daddy!

Is this for me?"

"It's all for you my little bunny"

He cooed,

taking the bunny headband from you

and placing it onto your head,

kissing your forehead roughly.

"Go wild"
