you're in the library studying with your best friend clay jensen. whilst clay explains what algebra is, your phone beeps and it's a text from monty.

"so (Y/N), what did you get for quest-" clay gets distracted as monty walks up to you and kisses you on the lips.

when monty pulls away, he looks at clay. "who's this?"

"oh! this is clay, my best friend. i have told you all about him." monty takes a seat next to you, but he pulls you onto his lap.

"oh. hey, cory." clay's face reddens as he observes monty kiss your neck.

you push monty away. "before you rudely interrupted, we were actually studying maths."

monty scoffs. "baby, you're smart enough. i mean you chose to date me." you roll your eyes at monty's comment.

monty continues to speak. "so cole, maybe you should pack up your shit and you know, fuck off?"

you slap monty on the arm. "that isn't nice!" you look over to clay and apologise for your boyfriend's behaviour.

"it's okay (Y/N). i'll see you tomorrow." when clay finally leaves the library, you get up and start to pack up your stuff.

monty stands up and turns you around so your back is facing the table. he kisses you passionately on the lips, lacing his fingers in your hair and pushing himself against you.

you pull away to catch your breath. "what's that for?"

monty flashes his famous smirk at you.

"just checking that you know you're only mine and not cody's." you burst out of laughter.

"his name is clay, you fool."

"i don't care what his name is, as long as he doesn't make a move on my girl."
