imagine; monty gets jealous of your friendship with his friends.

maths is the last class you have on a friday and justin foley is in the same class at you. as a tradition, justin walks you home from school after class.

justin tells you the story about zach being allergic to strawberries and you laugh at justin's impressions of zach.

a car pulls up next to you and justin and the driver shouts your name. you look over and it's montgomery de la cruz.

"want a ride babe?" monty flashes his winning smile at you.

justin protectively wraps his arm around your shoulder which causes monty to not smile anymore. "that's cool of you bro, but i'm taking her home."

"it's quicker in a car and i'm pretty sure (Y/N) can answer for herself." this causes justin to laugh and turn his head to look at you. "alright princess, wanna ride with monty or walk with me?"

a car ride with your ex boyfriend or a walk home with your best friend? hm... decisions.

"sorry monty, but i'm gonna walk home with justin. thanks for the offer though."

monty scoffs and speeds off, nearly running some people over.

"ah shit (Y/N). monty is one of my best pals and i just pissed him off. talk to him when you get home?"

you take justin's arm off your shoulder and start walking home, with justin following you.

"please? it's killing him not being with you."

"wait, did he tell you that?"

"no... but, i can see it in his face. just text him when you get home. please?" justin sticks his bottom lip out and his cuteness works. every. damn. time.

"and i know you still love him." justin sings.

you groan loudly. "fine. you own me though foley."

for the rest of the walk home, you explain to justin how you still have feelings for monty and that you're too afraid to tell him.

when you arrive at your house, you do different things to avoid messaging monty. soon, you get bored of doing chores and homework and give in.

you grab your phone from your bag and sit on your bed. scrolling through your messages, you find monty's name and tap on it.

shit. you still didn't delete the messages. the last conversation you had with monty was when you argued about him being jealous.

you hestitate for a few minutes, thinking of what to type. you quickly send a message saying hey and lock your phone.

25 minutes has passed and there was still no reply from monty. as you're about to delete the conversation, you receive a new message.
