as a dare from your friends, you had to flirt with bryce for a few minutes and the guy actually developed feelings for you.

at first, he was sweet and you thought he was a decent guy, so you started dating him. throughout the relationship, he became very controlling and insulted you whenever he could.

being afraid to break up with bryce face to face, you text him explaining that you're breaking up with him and the reasons behind it.

moments later, you receive dozens of abusive messages and this causes you to break down in tears.

you text monty and ask him to come over. he always sneaks in your bedroom window when it's late at night.

emmonie, are you alright? you shake your head.

monty gets on your bed and lays next to you, wrapping his arm over your waist.

you take a deep breath before speaking. i broke up with bryce and he's saying every nasty thing he possibly can.

as you say this, you could feel monty shaking his head. i wish i never gave you that dare. he's an asshole, you deserve better.
