clay silently nods and stares at you one last time, thinking of a conversation starter so he can talk to you. when he notices that you're reading simon vs. the homo sapien agenda, a spurt of confidence grows inside clay and he walks over to you.

you're reading my all time favourite book, clay smiles at you. in response, you blush and ask him if he wants to sit down.

no, i'm going to head to the library. you can come if you want? we could discuss the book where it's quieter.
