I put on a hoodie since it was starting to become chillier outside, then I put my shoes on and grabbed my purse. I walked outside and waited for Jessica out on my front steps

A couple of minutes later, Alex's car was pulling up in my driveway.

Jessica got out and I waved to Alex as he rolled his eyes and gave me a small wave before pulling back out

I frowned and looked Jessica

"He's angry with me because I want a kid and he's mad at you because you're encouraging me" She told me

"He does realize it's a joke, right?" I asked her as we started to walk down my driveway

"For you, maybe, but I deadass want a kiddie" Jessica answered

I laughed as she smiled

"But enough about my baby fever, I need to get pregnant first anyways" Jess changed the subject "I have many questions for you" She added

"Of course, you do" I playfully rolled my eyes and she pushed me off the sidewalk

"Jess" I screeched as a car honked at me and I got off the road

We both laughed as the man in the car flipped us off

"Okay first question, how was it with the kids? Be honest" Jess asked

"It was really well, they were so sweet and adorable and we got along really great" I answered

"How about his aunt? Did you get to meet her" She questioned

I nodded

"She's so nice and sweet and she loved that I clicked with this kids immediately. Apparently, it's hard for them to let strangers in" I told her

"Aw that's so sweet" Jess commented

"Yeah but now Zach wants me to go over to his place and have dinner with his mom and sister..." I trailed off "I'm fine with his sister and I really want to meet her but his mom terrifies me" I continued

"She should terrify you" She replied

"Jess! Not helping" I said

"It's true! I think I only met her once and it was way back in freshman year and we were having a potluck type of thing and I made brownies" Jess told me "And she had one and I was so proud of myself and she asked me 'did you make these' and I was like 'yeah' and then she took a napkin and spit out what was in her mouth then threw away the whole thing" She went on "All in front of me!" She exclaimed

"Oh my gosh" I replied

"I know" Jess looked at me "His sister is the nicest and sweetest thing though, she'll love you" She reassured me

"I hope so" I mumbled "I guess we both have mothers that are hateful and mean" I added, making us laugh

"Speaking of love and hate, did you and Zach drop the L word over this weekend?" She asked me

"No" I shook my head "Why do you ask?" I questioned

"Well because his Insta post said "We love" and so I just thought that maybe you guys said it, I don't know" Jess shrugged

"We haven't" I repeated "I feel like it's still too early, you know" I added

"Yeah" Jessica agreed "Alex and I didn't say it until 3 months, I'm pretty sure" She said

We kept talking until we arrived downtown where Jessica brought me into a restaurant that had a good brunch and we decided to take a table outside since it was starting to get sunny out

"Oou, we can also start talking about who we're gonna set Jeffy up with" Jessica spoke after we ordered

"That's part of the reason why I wanted to do something with you today" I told her "He hasn't been shutting up about it" I added

"How about Sheri? She's single, pretty, a cheerleader..." Jess suggested

"Nope" I quickly said

"Oh my god" She rolled her eyes "You and her have beef and now we can't set her up with Jeff?" She asked

"We don't have beef" I said "I have zero problems with her" I added

Jessica gave me a look that said she didn't believe me

I rolled my eyes

"I already asked Jeff awhile back about her and he said he didn't see her in that way" I told her

Before she could say anything else, our food arrived and we thanked the waiter

"How about we message a couple of girls from that private school" I spoke

"Hmm, I don't know" Jessica replied "Most of them are hoes" She told me

"Ugh" I sighed and took a bite of my food "Why is this so hard?" I asked her

"I have no clue" She answered "Jeff is fucking hot, funny, sweet, nice, an athlete... Why is it so fucking hard to find him someone?" She added

I nodded my head and kept eating

"Alt!" Jessica exclaimed as I ate and didn't answer her

"I'm thinking!" I told her

Jessica ate a bit

"Ouuuu, how about Jenni?" I asked her

"Like the cheerleader who's a year below us?" She questioned

"Yeah" I said "You could hit her up since you two know each other a bit and then I could message a couple of girls from the private school who seem sweet" I added

"Okay, yeah" Jessica agreed

We finished eating and I paid for everything

We decided to go to Monet's to message the girls
