"Uncle Raspberry," I whined, "Why do we have to move to Ponyville?"
"I told you (Y/N), there's much more space here for our farm."
"So? I liked our small farm better anyways! Auntie Blackberry!" I pouted.
"Sorry, hun, but I agree with your uncle. Our business is growing and we couldn't just keep going with that small farm. Besides, I heard there's some friendly ponies here!" Auntie Blackberry tried to cheer me up, but it didn't really work.
"This is so unfair! I think I should've gotten a say in this too!" I turned away, about to storm off from the two.
"Hun, at least go buy yourself something like a little treat. I heard there's a really good bakery! Maybe you can find a friend there?" She suggested.
"Ya, sugar. Here's 50 bits!" Uncle Raspberry tossed me a pouch of bits.
I caught it and said a quick thanks before leaving.
I wandered around the small town, eventually finding a big pink building. Seemed like a bakery, so it must be one... Right?
I hesitantly walked in only to be greeted by a pink stallion.
"Hiya! Welcome to Sugarcube Corner! You're new to town, right? What's your name?" The stallion excitedly said.
"U-Um," I said, frazzled by the bubbly stallion, "My name's (Y/N)..."
"Nice to meet you, (Y/N)! My name is Bubble Berry! What would you like today?" Bubble Berry asked.
"What do you suggest?" My whole attitude had flipped. It seemed like his cheeriness was definitely contagious.
"My favorite is the Sample Platter! So! Many! Treats!"
"Oh, okay! I'll take one of those!" I smiled.
"Okie dokie!" He nodded before zipping out and back in.
He set the plate of small treats on a table. They all looked so delicious...
"How much for these?"
"It's on the house!"
"W-What? Really?" I stuttered. No one was this nice whenever I had gone to the cities near my old farm... It was... Nice for a change...
"Of course, silly!" He giggled.
"Oh, thank you so much!"
"No problemo!"
I sat down and ate one of the treats.
"So, why'd you come to Ponyville?" Bubble asked.
"My Uncle and Aunt decided that we should move here... For our farm, of course..." I said.
"Woah! You own a farm! I have a friend who has an apple farm! Technically, it would've been mine, too. I thought I was Apple Jack's relative, but guess not! Either way, AJ and I are still good friends!" He babbled on.
"Heya, Bubble!" A scratchy voice said after the door bursted open. It was from a rainbow stallion.
"Rainbow! Look at my new friend, (Y/N)! She has a farm, just like Apple Jack! Isn't that amazing!"
"Hey, I'm Rainbow Blitz! You might recognize me from the Wonder Bolts!" He smirked.
I eyed him up and down, finally realizing he was part of the Wonder Bolts.
"Wow... I never thought I'd meet you..." I said in awe.
He chuckled, "Well, if you're Bubble's friend, then you're my friend, too!"
My face lit up in excitement.
"We should show her to AJ!" Bubble said.
"Good thinking! Let's go!"
Rainbow Blitz grabbed me mid-bite and flew off. The "ride" was quick and a little shocking.
We got to a barn surrounded by trees. They seemed to be... Apple trees?
Rainbow Blitz suddenly bursted out into laughter.
"W-What?" I asked with a confused expression.
"Y-Your-"
"Hey, Rainbow. What cha' laughing... At...?" Another stallion with a cowboy hat walked towards us, staring at me.

Rainbow continued to laugh finally zipping off.
"Sugar cube... You're mane seems to um..."
My eyes widened as I popped a mirror in front of my face with my magic. My mane was a mess. I made haste to make a comb appear and make my hair look decent.
"Now I know what Rainbow was laughing at..." I chuckled.
He chuckled as well, "Name's Apple Jack. I see your friends with Rainbow."
"Oh, we just met like 5 minutes ago... My name's (Y/N). Nice to meet you." I smiled at him.
He did a small hat tip and asked why I was here.
"Oh, Bubble and Rainbow both wanted me to meet you because I work with my Uncle and Aunt in a farm."
"Hmm... Another farm, huh? What do you grow?"
"Raspberries and blackberries! We grow some of the best in Equestria, ya know!" I said with a smirk.
"Is that so? Didn't think a unicorn could provide some of the best fruits." He said jokingly.
"H-Hey! Gathering the berries require lots of delicacy!"
"Makes sense... I don't think I could be so delicate with them tiny berries."
I giggled, "Well, it was nice meeting you, Apple Jack. I wish I could stay longer, but my Auntie only wanted me out for a bit."
"It's fine, sugar cube. When do you think I'll get to see ya again?"
"Um... I have a big day tomorrow, so I'm not sure if I'll be able tomorrow..."
"I'm assuming you need to start planting them berries of yours don't cha'..."
"Yup... Can't wait..." I said sarcastically.
"Want some help? I'm sure us Apples wouldn't mind helping out! I definitely don't mind!" He suggested.
"Would you really do that? I mean... You have your own farm to take care of, I wouldn't want to bother you..."
"It's fine, hun. I can even ask if my other friends could help out." He nodded.
"Thank you so much! I'll see you tomorrow then!" I smiled wildly.
"See ya at 6 in the morning?"
I nodded and headed back to the house.

"Auntie! You won't believe who I met!"
"Hmm?" She hummed as she was adding some sugar to a bowl.
"I met this really amazing guy and two of his friends."
"Is that so?" She chuckled.
"Yeah. He even offered to help us plant the berries. Plus, he knows what he's doing! He has an apple farm nearby! Isn't that just amazing?" I grinned.
"An apple farm?" Uncle Raspberry walked in.
"Yeah!"
"Don't ya think he's trying to sabotage our business?" Uncle asked.
"Why would you think that...? I'm sure AJ's just trying to help out..." I said, suddenly disappointed.
"You could at least give him a chance, dear..." Auntie spoke up.
"Fine. When's he gonna help?" He asked.
"Tomorrow. Starting at 6 in the morning."
He nodded sternly and left the room.
"Sorry about that... Your Uncle gets anxious about other farms ever since your Grandpa told him about what happened many years ago..."
"Well... I'll just have to show Uncle that not everyone is mean!"
She giggled, "Good for you, hun."

Bang! Bang! Bang!
I groaned as I heard three bangs. I ignored it the noises and tried going back to sleep.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
The banging came again, but this time it was faster and much louder. It suddenly hit me.

AJ was supposed to come help me!
I quickly got up and ran to the door.
"A-Ah, I'm so sorry! I c-completely forgot that you were coming!"
"It's fi-" Apple Jack started.
"Goodness, darling! Your mane is a mess!" An elegant voice spoke up.
"Wha-? O-Oh..." I barely noticed my messy head of hair.
"I insist that I fix it!"
"Wait, but-"
"No 'but's darling! Your new friend Elusive will help you!"
"U-Uh, you guys let yourself in!" I said before being dragged by Elusive with a little guidance as to where my room was.
>>>Time Skip
"There we go, darling..." Elusive said with a smile.
He had put my mane in a pony tail with braids and jewels adorned along it. The hair style wasn't too extravagant, yet it wasn't too simple. Plus, it was convenient in the sense that it wouldn't get in the way.
We both went downstairs as I called out to the stallions, "I'm ready!"
Apple Jack was the first to see me. His face looked almost shocked.
"You look lovely, (Y/N)." AJ said with a blushed face.
"Thanks..." I smiled back.
AJ and I just stared at each other for a bit before I snapped back into reality. "Anyways! Let's get to work!"
>>>Time Skip
After 3 weeks of on and off working, we had gotten everything done. I even got to help out AJ at his farm, even if Uncle was hesitant about it.
We even started to create a bond between each other.
"Oh my Celestia! I helped make this?!"
"Yup!" AJ laughed.
"I've never tried apple jam before... It's so good!"
"I'm glad you like it... But, you're gonna have to let me try some of your famous jams!"
"Worry not! I will let you try every jam recipe my family has made!"
"Thanks, sugar cube. I'm counting on you, okay?"
I nodded happily before taking another bite of the toast that had the apple jam spread across it.
"Sugar cube?"
"Hmm?" I hummed while chewing on the toast.
"I... I gotta tell ya something..."
I quickly swallowed, and smiled, "Okay!"
"I like you a lot, (Y/N). I know it's only been a few weeks, but I really do like you..."
My eyes widened for a moment before I looked away. "I-I like you, too, AJ..."
He grinned before taking me into a kiss. I quickly kissed back, enjoying the sweet and gentle sensation.
He pulled away, letting me hide my blushed face in his neck.
"You have no idea how happy I am to have you now..." He whispered, running his hoof along my mane.
I moved away and stuttered, "I-I have to get h-home. See you tomorrow?"
"As always." He nodded before giving me a kiss on the nose.
"Bye!" I waved before leaving the house.
Once I got home, I excitedly called out, "Uncle! Auntie! You'll never guess what happened!"
"What is it, hun?" Auntie asked as she chopped up some vegetables.
"AJ likes me!"
"We know that, dear." Auntie giggled.
"No, he like-likes me! And, now I think we're a thing since we kinda kissed!" I said like an excited little school girl.
"That's amazing, dear!" Auntie smiled.
"No, it's not," Uncle interfered, "You're not allowed to date that farm boy! He could betray you---or even the farm--- in a second!"
"Uncle Raspberry! AJ isn't like that! He's honest and kind! He would never hurt the farm!"
"(Y/N), it has been only 3 weeks. You can't know a person within 3 weeks."
"That shouldn't matter! 3 weeks is enough to know what I need to know, and I know that AJ would never do whatever you think he would do!"
"You're not allowed to see him again, let alone date him." Uncle said sternly.
Tears started to well up in my eyes as I ran to my room.
>>>Aunt Blackberry's POV
"Love, don't you think you were a bit harsh? I know you're very over protective over (Y/N), but you shouldn't prevent her from seeing someone she likes."
"I don't need another incident happening to the family business."
"I know, but she's a very careful girl. She knows when she's being fooled."
"She's still not allowed to see him."
I sighed at his answer. He sure could be stubborn.
>>>(Y/N)'s POV
"Sweetie..." A soft voice said as I was shaken awake.
I groaned in annoyance, and tried to go back to sleep.
"Sweetie, I can help you get out of the house to see your precious Apple Jack..."
"What?" I was fully awake.
"Your Uncle is out working. He shouldn't be able to see you if you leave soon. You have 10 minutes to get ready. I believe you can leave by yourself?"
"Yes, Auntie! Thank you so much!"
"Good. I'll keep him distracted. Be back by 1, okay?"
I nodded happily and jumped out of bed.
>>>Time Skip
Once I got into town, I started to look around.
"What cha' looking for?" A bubbly voice asked.
"Oh, hi, Bubble. I'm looking for Apple Jack... You wouldn't have happened to see him, have you?"
"AJ? He's near the town center!"
"Thanks, Bubble!" I started running towards the town center, trying to dodge all the mares and stallions.
"Apple Jack!" I yelled once I saw him.
He turned around and looked at me.
"(Y/N)..." He galloped towards me and gave me a quick kiss.
"I missed you so much..." I whispered, nuzzling into him.
"We saw each other yesterday, sugar cube... But, I'm glad you missed me..."
"I know we saw each other yesterday, it's just... I may not be able to see you again after this..."
"What do you mean?" A confused look crossed his face.
"My Uncle won't let me see you anymore... H-He says you'd only hurt me or the family..."
AJ sweetly kissed me before whispering to me, "You know I'd never do that, right?"
"Of course I do... I trust you..."
"I'll fix this, sugar cube. You get home now. I'll come in about an hour, ok?"
I nodded, wiping a few stray tears away.
>>>Time Skip
I stared out my window for the hundredth time, looking for AJ. I had been reading a book by my window as I waited for him. To be honest, I couldn't even call what I was doing reading. I had only advanced 2 pages within 40 minutes.
I sighed and leaned against the warm window. I started to drift to sleep until I saw a blur of orange run through the trail to my house.
My eyes widened as I watched AJ knock on the door. I smiled to myself as I quietly went to the top of the stairs.
I watched Auntie open the door and look towards the kitchen a few seconds afterwards. "Dear, someone's here to talk to you."
Auntie moved out of the way, revealing AJ. He quickly looked up at me and smiled with a wink. I blushed as I stuck my tongue out at him.
Once AJ was in the kitchen, I quietly went half way down the stairs so I could somewhat look into the kitchen.
"What are you doing here?" I heard Uncle say.
"Sir, I understand that you don't want me seeing your niece anymore, but let me prove to you that I will never hurt her."
"And, what about the farm? How do I know you won't ruin our entire business?"
"I would never, Sir. I even helped out a cherry farmer, and they're still bursting with business. I beg of you, let me be with (Y/N)."
"You promise not to hurt (Y/N)?"
"Of course. Believe me when I say this, I like (Y/N). I'll even admit to falling in love with her..." AJ said sincerely as he held his cowboy hat to his chest.
I gasped quietly with a dark blush. H-He's falling in love with me.
"I suppose you can be with her... But, the moment you hurt her, you better not expect to get away with it."
"Yes, Sir! Thank you, Sir!" AJ grinned wildly before turning to me.
"Y-You're falling in love with m-me?"
"Yeah... You're a great gal, sugar cube. How could I not fall in love with you?"
"I think I'm falling in love with you, too..." I smiled sweetly as I went down the stairs.
"I'm glad you feel the same..."
He placed his hat on my head and kissed me sincerely. Fireworks played in my head as I finally realized that maybe we were meant to be.

A Collection of Tales
This is or rather will become a collection of short stories set in the worlds of The Misplaced Dungeon and Unexpected Consequences as I am finding it difficult to avoid including some amusing ideas that would sidetrack those stories. And now also include stories from the world of And Dungeon Makes Three. Unless otherwise stated these stories happen in the background and are here because they seem to want to get out. Updating will be irregular.

Child of Dusk
Life can be cruel, especially to those who don't fit in. But what would you do if you were given a second chance? Tim was a nobody during his time on Earth. As a penniless orphan with no friends to speak of, life was tough for him in his little Arizona town in the '90s. He'd utterly lost hope for the future until one day, he was reincarnated as Alvanue, beloved daughter and heir to the Starlit Throne of Silthonduen. Now, Alvanue has everything a princess could ever want: a loving family, loyal comrades and an entire kingdom at her finger tips. But what good is a kingdom when there's a whole world of magic and mystery out there to explore? *** Ok! Disclaimer time. I do edit my own work and I do not have a beta reader, so please feel free to point out any errors or plot holes (politely, of course). Each chapter will be around 4,000 to 6,000 words long and while I was posting every day at the beginning, I think I'll cut that down to once a week for now, excluding bonus chapters! I really don't want to get burned out. I started writing this because I love world building, so this is gonna be heavy on lore. If you're not into that, there's still a ton of character progression and action to look forward to! It's going to be slow at the beginning, but I promise it will pick up eventually. Thanks for checking my story out, I appreciate it a lot!

A World With or Without Aliens
Nothing matters. It's not my opinion, it's a scientific fact. This is neither good nor bad, it just... is. I watched my entire country burn, fried on a patriotic pan after some jerk fired a bunch of nukes at the docile fleet of alien ships hovering over us. Who gave this moron such power? I don't know. Everyone involved is most likely dead by now. As for me, I can't die. I feel pain like a normal person would (I think), but no matter how terrible the conditions, I will never die or pass out. Fortunately, a lot of alien technology survived its crash to Earth, so I get to spend some time playing with it until Mr. Author gets bored and decides to screw up my life. Beware, this has a "harem" tag. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the main character and am therefore subject to this novel's timeline. While this bars me from the sweet ignorance of Chapter 1's me, it does have other perks... for example, I can tell you that heroine number one is personally responsible for kil-!? H-hey, back off! I'm your character, so if you didn't want me to be like this, then you should've written me differently! Randomguy here! In all seriousness, this novel is meant to explore the concept of nihilism as a post-apocalyptic/supernatural-scifi/satire told from a nihilistic introvert's first-person perspective. As you heard from my unsettled main character, each heroine is going to be a different type of horrifying socio/psychopath with dark motives and dangerous abilities (most of which are psychological). Why would I do something like this? Because I am, in reality, a nihilist who is often frustrated by weird things, like unrealistically dramatic stories, the industrialization of art (specifically music), and people who think swimming in brown creekwater for five hours is a "fun" activity. Don't get me wrong, neither me nor my character are depressed, we're just malcontents who make a lot of nerd references. I feel like the true essence of an "everything is worthless" perspective is lost on most pop-culture figures. The closest character I can think of at the moment is Rick from Rick and Morty, who is a drunk, angry nihilist that experienced tremendous loss. I, personally, find this belligerent state of mind to be very relatable, and have incorperated it into every chapter's introduction. Here, the main character talks directly to the reader (and me), shamelessly complaining about some semi-relevant facet of society, which probably doesn't make much sense... it's not really supposed to, though. These "angry nihilist" moments are just a peak into the main character's everyday existence, and also act as miniature rage-journals for me. It will sometimes take a subjectively 'positive' turn, but not very often. This is because reality isn't good or bad, "it just... is". I will eventually bring it full-circle to optimistic nihilism, since that seems to be a more practical way to live (and by "practical", I mean "doesn't create mental health issues"). It is, of course, a satire. I did this because most unnecessarily emotional moments or people usually make me feel kind of awkward, so I decided to mock them. That is, I plan to mock the characteristics about them I don't like in characters based solely off said characteristics. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my story!
