"That's it! I'm done!" I said and stormed out of my "home". I had a bag that has everything I need for a week and some money over at Boruto's. It same for him, so I made sure to grab that before I ran.
I went to the secret hide out and then texted him 'code social casuality get your ass over here now'. Yes we have codes for different stuff that happens.
Boruto came in about ten minutes later, "what the fuck (y/n)! It's like midnight and now you decide to run!"
I threw him his social casuality bag, "whatever I wanted my social casuality bag and for you to know where I am. You can leave now." I said and he handed me my bag.
"Are you coming to school?"
"Ha! No way! I only went there to get away from those bastards! Now that I'm free I can do what ever I want!"
"Sure up til your parents find you. You know what they would do right?"
"Of course I do! I know better than anyone. That's why I have to stay here. Only you and me know about this place." I said softly.
"Do you really think that they will take you to another village just for running?" Boruto asked.
I nodded, "they are crazy why do you think I made sure that I'm their only kid."
"Well, good night and come to school just one last day. I'll come get you in the morning."
"Alright, but I'm not leaving until you get me. Got it?"
"Yeah, I'm the one that came up with it."
With that he left. I layed down on the grass and tried to sleep. The hideout is in the woods under a few old trees. You know were the old exams were held? Yeah right next to that place, but a few feet away of course.

I went to sleep with out waking up to screaming for the first time in years. I woke up when Boruto stepped on a twig and snapped it. I'm not a heavy sleeper thanks to "my house".
"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up." Boruto said softly.
"Don't worry about it. I didn't wake up til now." I said, getting up, "leave I have to change."
Boruto went behind a tree and I changed. "Alright let's go." I said.
"Are you gonna eat?" He asked.
"I don't need to. One day won't kill me."
"Yeah just make you weak. I packed more for you in my lunch and I can't eat that much..."
I smiled, "thanks banana head."
"Yeah whatever let's just go. And stop calling me that."
"What ever you say, pineapple"
"I thought that was Shikadai's nickname?"
We were waking to school and this happens a lot. There are too many nicknames for everyone.
We started talking like we always did until we were close to school. "Do you think we should tell the others?" Boruto asked.
"I don't know...... do you think we should?"
"Well yeah, that way people can bring you food and you can stay with them when it rains."and
"Okay, we'll tell them at lunch."
When lunch time came around, the corner kids, Cho-Cho, Inojin, Shikadai and Sarada went to corner of the woods. In other words, the group got together and went went to the coroner of the school grounds to eat lunch.
"Hey (y/n), what do you have to eat? You always have the best lunch!" Cho-cho asked.
It was true that I had the best lunch because I could cook. Never had that much but I knew how to cook with that I had.

"Um about that I have something to tell you all..."
"What?" They all asked.
"I ran last night.." I said softly.
"What do you mean by 'ran'?" Shikadai asked.
"She's a rebel now." Boruto said.
"Where do you stay?" Sarada asked.
"Right now I'm the woods. Until I can get a place on my own that's where I'll be." I said.
"Why did you run? And now of all times?" Inojin asked.
"I can not tell you guys why. I'm sorry but not even Boruto knows. I have to stay in the woods until next year because we will be put on teams and then I can get my own place." I said.
"What are you gonna do about food and clothes and what happens when it gets cold or rains? Why not just ask Lord seventh for a place?" Sarada asked.
"If I do that he'll know that I ran and then he might tell my parents. They can not know that I'm out here." I said.
"I'm bring her lunch and I was wondering if." Boruto started but Cho-Cho cut him off.
"Here (y/n), have some of mine. I think Sensei said that we are have fighting matches today. You need to have your energy." We were all surprised when she said that. She never gives food away, well almost never.
"Thank you, I swear it won't always be like this. I will get my own part time job, promise." I said before eating.
"Anyway," Boruto said, "she will stay in her hiding spot. I'll her to my house when it gets cold and when it rains."
"Where's the hiding spot at?" Inojin asked.
"Yeah, where is it at?" Cho-Cho and Sarada asked as well.
"I'm sorry guys, but Boruto is the only one who will know where it's at." I said.
"Why only him?" They all asked.
"There's some stuff about my parents that only Shikadai and Boruto know by over hearing their fathers. I'm sorry, but it's for your safety."
"She's right," Shikadai said, "just trust her guys. If something happens to Boruto and I will watch over her."
The was a short silence before we went on as usual. You see, my parents were interrogators during the war. So they scare everyone they met. They would do stuff that you don't even want to know about.
A month passed and winter came. Boruto and I got all my winter clothes a while back, but I was still cold at night. One night it started snowing. At the worst timing, I wouldn't sleep that night and I had exams the morning. It was around midnight but Boruto texted me ' I'm coming to get you'. I smiled, 'thank goodness' I texted back.
Ten minutes later, "come, (y/n) it's me Boruto." He said quietly.
I went up to him, "give my your hands." He said.
"Why? I have gloves."
"Just do it. I can keep your hands warm." I shrugged and gave him my hands.
"Your going to Sarada's," Boruto explained as we walked, "her dad is not home and her mom is fast asleep. It's okay, I texted her and asked."
"Thanks, and thanks for all of this." I said.
He squeezed my hand, "of course, I would do anything for you."
I looked at him, "same here."

We Never Use Our Powers for Anything Important
The world was once in peril. Wars were fought endlessly, creatures from beyond the Veil invaded the world, and greedy men almost tore the world apart. In the midst of all this madness, the world created Overseers— gifted people granted with unique powers. But that was a hundred years ago. Autumn Mountain Academy is the premier Overseer School in Japan. Here, thousands of the world's most powerful Overseers gather to learn how to harness their powers. But with the world already safe and peaceful, these gifted individuals can only use their incredible powers on the most mundane of things. Cheating in exams, playing pranks on one another, stealing some unlucky freshman's deliciously made bento— no rebellious deed is safe. Only one person is willing to fight against this juvenile idiocy— her name is Ayane Tsukino, a rare S Rank Overseer and president of the student council. Conditions in the school have improved because of her reign, because few people could challenge her overwhelming might. Enter is Hideaki Kimura, a boy interested in nothing but living a stereotypical high school life, maybe have it culminate with a cheesy romance if things go well for him. But his humble dream is shattered when he finds himself clashing with the most powerful Overseer in the school.

For Grass and Glory
Being old is difficult. But losing the love of your life to natural selection and being left in the dirt is even harder. Join Walton in his final journey as he figures out if his principals are just as important when there is nothing left to lose. Combating hypocrisy, youth, bad diet practises and a general lack of respect towards humanity, Walton's struggles are the true adventure of the everyday man. A story about unlikely friendship, being old, unexpected beauty, and the obsession of kicking a round leather ball in the best way possible. A story about a new world, and its possibilities. A story about the grass, and let us hope, a small bit of glory? Author note: This is a project of mine I started in 2016 and recently been writing for again. Writing for me is something I love to do, but can't always find the time for. This is also the reason I have not finished (or come close to) Ethereal Space yet. I get distracted. I started this novel intending to create something else, to break a bit with the current go to's story wise in the litRPG or virtual reality communities. So, this is my attempt at "Something different" I would love feedback or just your general opinion. But most of all, I hope it entertains. Enjoy!

What seems like an innocent game trope turns into a nightmare. This is a story of tragedy and the path to ultimate power. All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.
