You walked into your home with Sombra and saw everypony looking a bit worried.
"They won't be back...Right?" Honey asked. You smiled and walked over to her, hugging her. She hugged you back.
"No, I used my cutie mark to make sure they can't." You said as you let Honey go. Honey's smile widened and Scarlet took a step forward.
"Good. We don't care what they say about you, your our friends and we all love you." Scarlet said. Everypony nodded. You wanted to cry tears of joy at that.
"T-Thank you everypony." You said and that night, everyone was having fun and mingling.
"Sombra its perfect! I can use the extra shelving for flowers. Who needs honey." Honey said, looking at her new cart. You smiled as you watched that. You were repainting the fountain at that moment. You had just finished when you saw Thunder flying right at you, looking worried.
"(y/n)! Sombra!" He called as he landed. You ran over to him, as did Sombra.
"Whats wrong Thunder?" You asked. He looked at you.
"An alicorn is here looking for you both." He said. You looked at Sombra.
"It must be Cadence." Sombra said but you shook your head.
"I don't think so. It could be Celestia though." You said. Sombra gave a small nodded. You looked back at Thunder.
"Take me to her." You said and Thunder lead both you and Sombra to the pony. You saw it was, in fact, Celestia. You saw she looked calm so you walked up and gave a small bow.
"Your highness." You said, standing back up.
"Hello (y/n), Sombra, or is it still king Sombra?" Celestia asked. Sombra, who did not bow, shook his head.

"No, it's just Sombra. What do you want?" Sombra asked. You looked at Sombra.
"Sombra, Do not be rude." You said and looked back at Celestia.
"I'm sorry your highness on my husbands rudeness. What can we do for you?" You asked. Celestia looked at you.
"It's quiet alright. I was just told my Twilight and her friends about how you and Sombra had taken over and enslaved a small town." Celestia said. You were about explain but a voice stopped you.
"They haven't enslaved us! Why does everypony think that? Get to know them and this town and us before you spat out lies!" Thunder yelled. You turned to face him.
"Thunder, This in the princess of Equestria. Please show her respect." You said. Thunder glared at Celestia.
"Sorry." He said and flew off. You turned to Celestia again.
"I'm sorry. Everypony here knows about our past and has excepted us and because of it, they are a bit protective." You said and you saw Celestia smile.
"It's alright. Would it be to must to ask for a tour of your town?" Celestia asked.
"Not at all." Sombra said, but it sounded strained. You and Sombra turned and you took Sombra's tail in yours. You then started to explain to Celestia about your town and how it works. You introduced Celestia to everypony also, but they seemed nervous around her.
"Well, I must say I'm impressed. This town is very lovely."Celestia said. You smiled.
"Thank you. We have worked hard on this place, making it our home and trying to improve it." Sombra said. Steel walked up to Sombra.
"Hey Sombra, I'm sorry to interrupt but I could use your help. Thunder whats to do another rainstorm for Fruit and we have to do Caramel's door or water will get in." Steel said. Sombra nodded and turned to Celestia.

"Excuse me." Sombra said and walked off with Steel. You waved at Sombra.
"Sombra has changed. He would normally never help his subjects." Celestia said. You sighed.
"Your highness, Sombra and I do not own this town. We are the mayor's, yes, but only because we help everyone." You said. Fruit then came running up.
"(y/n), can you help me? My oranges are ready to be mashed for some jam because Caramel wanted to help with his door but Scarlet, who was going to help me said that Honey slipped and hurt her hoof. Can you help please?" Fruit asked. You smiled.
"Like I would say no. Your highness, please come with me and you will see what I mean." You said and walked with Fruit, Celestia following behind you. You washed all four of your hoofs and helped Fruit peel and put them into a bucket, which you would fly up and dump into a huge barrel.
"Alright, start mashing. I have the jars ready." Fruit said. You started to step on the oranges.
"I must say I'm impressed. You do this often?" Celestia asked. Fruit nodded.
"Yep. It's how we get our jam. (y/n) or Sombra normally help me but with you here, Scarlet said she would, if Honey didn't hurt herself. I hope She is OK." Fruit said. You looked at Fruit.
"Well, when we are done, lets got visit her." You said. Fruit smiled.
"Sure, as long as we can put these in the barn that Steel and Sombra made for my last month to let these set." Fruit said. you smiled.
"You got it." You said. Celestia was silent after that. You washed your hoofs, helping Fruit put the jars way.
"OK, lets go visit Honey." You said.

Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.

The Girl from the Mountain
Alexandra Bedford is a weapon, a young woman with telekinetic powers capable of leveling entire cities, born to fight in the desolate remains of post-apocalyptic North America. There is only one problem: she may be losing control of her abilities. Sixteen years after a global pandemic devastated the earth’s population, the lines in the old United States have been drawn between the Cheyenne Directorate in Colorado and the New England Alliance on the East Coast. The Directorate, of which Alexandra is a part, is a small but powerful organization dedicated to returning the country to its former glory. However, when a diplomatic mission to the New England Alliance goes wrong, Alexandra finds herself at the center of a bloody civil war. Battles are fought on the old highways and in dilapidated towns and once-great cities. And as the conflict escalates, all of North America faces the threat of being burnt away by nuclear fire. Against this backdrop of war, Alexandra tries to uncover the long-hidden secrets behind the plague, her abilities, and the two men fighting to decide the fate of the United States - Henry Bedford, Alexandra's father and leader of the Directorate, and John Martin, the mysterious figure at the heart of the New England Alliance who may hold the key to everything she seeks. None of this will matter, however, unless Alexandra can prevent the power growing inside her from taking over and consuming the very world she is fighting to save. Author's Notes: I appreciate you taking a look at my novel, The Girl from the Mountain. If you're a fan of post-apocalyptic fiction, military thrillers, and/or cosmic horror, I think you'll enjoy this story. I completed the novel's first draft back in 2011 and made significant changes in 2016. Since then, I've more-or-less sat on the manuscript while working on other projects. Thanks to a bit of prodding, I've decided to send this story out into the wild with some touch-ups and additional revisions. I welcome any comments or criticisms, and I hope you enjoy The Girl from the Mountain!

Until one day, he found a mysterious article that made him keep wondering, What would I do if I could stop the time? That encounters, that thought process, lead Grey to experience a peculiar phenomenon, which is the gateway to the bizarre nation of Chronosseum. The land claimed to be located between reality and imagination, beyond thoughts and perceptions, and through space and time. Join Grey make his glorious way in Chronosseum, and uncover its truth! Also, he needs to answer that question too! Note: The story heavily relies on the characters' thought processes, characters' interactions with its dramas, mystery, and back-stories aspects, so expect the slice of life thingy. As for now, I can't say this is an action-packed story, but slowly, it will be for sure. Also, I'm planning not too heavily focused on the MC, as you'll see the story told from various perspectives. Tags and content warnings are checked for the sake of my creativity in the future, it might or might not be included. This is my first novel, and also, English is not my native language, I beg your mercy. But I am open to any feedback and constructive criticism, so let's make the story more enjoyable to read! Chronosseum is scheduled to release one chapter every three days (for now).
