Jason's POV
Bethany passed out. I can't believe it upset her that bad that she is pregnant with five babies that she passed out. The Doc brought out some smelling salts and ran them under her nose causing her to jump up with surprise. She looked around wildly then laughed.
"I had this crazy dream Jason. Doc said I was carrying five babies. Hahahha can you believe that." She laughed and ran her hand over her stomach. I smiled at her then kissed her lips before shaking my head.
"He did tell you that. We are going to have five babies Bethany! Can you believe it?" I said kissing her again.
"Well shit! That means I'm going to be the size of a house." She huffed out. The doctor printed out pictures of each of the babies handing them to us.
"I can't tell the sex yet but looks like in a few weeks I'll be able to. I'm not sure if you know but your pregnancy won't last as long as a human as you are carrying babies that carry demon blood." The doctor explained to Bethany and she nodded looking a little frightened.
"H-how long till I deliver then?" She asked.
"I'd say around six months maybe sooner as you are carrying five babies and I'm not sure if you'll carry them to term. Which brings me to my second point. You'll need to go on bedrest in a couple of months maybe sooner if you don't stop bleeding." I quickly stood up and showed the doctor to the door as I could tell Bethany was a little overwhelmed. After getting him out of the door I rushed back over getting into the bed then pulling her onto my lap.
"It will be alright. I'll be here through everything. I have already got my cousin working at the office, so I don't need to leave any more. If I have to do a meeting, I'll be doing it via facetime. We will love everyone of those babies." I felt Bethany start sobbing into my chest. "Baby no don't cry." I pulled her face up to look at me. "What's wrong?" She sniveled and gulped and looked me in the eyes.

"I'm just scared. I was ready for one baby.. b-but f-five!" She started crying again.
"Bethany do you not want them?"
"Y-yes of course I- I do. I'll get so fat, and you won't want me." Her bottom lip stuck out and she snuggled into my neck. I pulled her face back up to look me in the eyes again.
"Now, listen to me. I love you and I love every one of those babies. I want them and I want you. I don't care if you get as big as a cow or an elephant for that matter. You are my mate and I love you."
"I love you too." She smiled and threw her hands around my neck. "Now can we eat. I'm starving!" I laughed and pushed the button on the wall ordering us some food. It didn't take long before the maids brought us our food and my girl happily ate her pasta. "Earlier your mom came and visited, didn't she?"
"Yes, she stopped by to check on you. She also found out about a human mate. It seems that human mates bleed until the second or third month and have a harder pregnancy. However, that was a very long time ago. With the advancements in the medical field, I'm sure it will be easier." I said happily trying to give off confidence with what I was saying about it being easier. She nodded and continued eating. I have never seen her eat this much it has to be the babies. "You want to go for a walk in the gardens after you finish eating? Doc said you could get up and go for a short walk as long as you felt like it."
"Sounds good. UMMM can we also stop by and see Raziel? I need to thank him for healing me again." I nodded and watched as she grabbed a steak from the middle placing in on her plate.

"Sure baby. Anything you want. Just don't eat to much or you'll want to go to sleep instead of a walk." I laughed as she raised her eyebrow at me. I threw my hands up in surrender and stood up kissing the top of her head before heading to the closet to throw on some clothes. After a few minutes I walk back out to Bethany finishing her steak and getting up from the table.
"I need to change really quick then we can be on our way." She kissed my cheek then disappeared into the closet. She came back out in black leggings and a large t shirt of mine. "I'm ready let's stop at Raziel's first." She grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door walking towards her grandfather's room. She knocked on the door and I could hear shuffling inside. The door swung open and Raziel stood in the doorway.
"AH Bethany my dear. I see you are feeling better." He said with a smile before pulling her into a hug.
"Yes, I just wanted to stop by to tell you thank you again for healing me. I'll try to not bleed again." He waved his hand in the air.
"No bother. I'm just glad you are fine."
"Raziel, I know what you mean by I'll be busy." His eyebrows shot up and he laughed.
"So, I am right babies? I would say four or five by what I felt." A big smile plastered to my face.
"Five Raziel! We are having five beautiful babies." He laughed and hugged me then kissed Bethany on her cheek.
"I can't wait to be a great grandfather. Where are you two headed to? Surely not just to thank me."
"Doc said she need to walk a little so I'm taking her for a walk in the gardens before bed tonight."
"Great, be careful and Bethany it's no big deal if you need me to heal you again so don't worry. Enjoy your walk." We said good night to Raziel then made our way to the garden.

The Dog with a Chair
As of now, this story is dropped. It was an excellent learning experience, but the quality suffered too much from me trying new things for me to continue in good concience. Thanks to anyone that read it. I'm leaving this story up as a record of my first ever attempt at publishing something I've wrote. To any new writers out there, remember that even if the stuff you write is trash, you can still learn a lot from writing it. - November 17th 2020 Guy gets involved in advocacy for civil engineering projects, then gets pulled into an interdimensional war. Third person with a focus on one main character (Stanley) with the occasional point of view from another character important to story progression. Writing style tends to shift early on as I figure out how to write (this is my first book). Still learning, hoping to improve. Current style choice is to have a focus on character dialogue/actions with interspersed internal monologue in italics. No current end is set for the story, with the primary goal of this project being to learn to express myself in a written format. Storyline is kept as consistent as practical while covering things I find interesting. Governmental systems are mentioned, but not explained in extreme detail. Sci fi elements are used to reinforce and guide plot progression as I'm able. Personal goals belonging to each character are in the process of being developed, with the hope that they will support or oppose each other in interesting ways later on. Hope you enjoy :)
