《Rejected and Pregnant》Chapter 14

There in the doorway stood the rouge who had attacked Timmy and I in my room. He had his hand on his bloody wound. "Your going to lay for that!" He growled. But before he could make it any deeper into the room, Axel's scent hit me like a truck. Apparently the rouge caught the smell because he turned and ran out the sliding doors. Axel ran into the safe room and found Timmy and I there.
"Are you guys okay? One of the rogues cut off all power?" I stiffly nodded. Timmy was shaking in my arms. I suddenly burst into tears. Axel came over to me and pulled me into a hug. Xavier then came into the room.
"Alena?" Xavier asked. He had a pained expression on his face. I pulled out Axel's arms and ran into Xavier with Timmy still in my arms.
"There was a rouge in here. I think it was a leader. He came here for me. I stabbed in and ran. Then he came into this room, but before he could get us he ran. He ran because she smelled Axel." Tears ran down my cheeks. Xavier held me.
"It's okay. I'm here. I'm here."
Later that day, Xavier stayed with me at all times. Timmy will sleep with us until we leave on Saturday. We won't be taking any chances. "It's okay. Sleep." Xavier said. I nodded and closed my eyes. Xavier held me in his arms as I tried to sleep, but I couldn't. Xavier and Timmy were both snoring and sleeping peacefully but I just couldn't. I slowly peeled myself out of Xavier's arms and made my way to the window. I looked out into the woods.
When I was looking out there, I saw two golden eyes staring at me. I felt instant dread. I pulled away from the window and went back to lay with Xavier. He wrapped his arms around me again subconsciously. How did everything get so screwed up?
The following morning, everyone had a netting. We talked about strategies. We talked about what they wanted. Which was me. Why did they want me? No one knew. My heart was pounding in my chest. "All this stress isn't good for our baby Alena." Xavier whispered into my ear. Axel's head snapped toward us. I guess he heard the baby part. He looked heart broken.

"I can't help it. You all are in danger because of me. And I don't even know why." I said. Xavier kissed my forehead.
"Let me do the worrying babe." I nodded. Yet it was easier said than done.
"I wanna go home Xavier." Xavier nodded his head.
"We can leave in two days if you want." I nodded eagerly. I wanna go home where it's safe.
We finished the meeting and everyone went off to train. I went back up to my room and took a long, hot bath. I relaxed and rubbed my small baby bump. "I love you peanut." I smiled. When I was done taking a bath, I wrapped a towel around me and went back into my room. When I opened the door, I saw the rouge from yesterday standing there.
"Don't think this is over." He jumped out of the window. So much for not worrying. I quickly changed and went to go find Axel or Xavier. I happened to find Axel first. I told him everything and he led me to Xavier where I told him everything too.
"We need to change rooms." Axel agreed. so that day we changed rooms as well. Timmy was out in the room next to us as well. This time we were out in the only room that has a safe room with a backup generator so if power went it, it still couldn't be accessed.
"It's okay." Xavier kissed my forehead. Is that all he could say. I rolled my eyes and placed my head in my hands.
"I have so much baggage." I grumbled. Xavier chuckled.
"That you do. But it's what makes you strong and independent." I smiled. I kissed Xavier's cheek.
"Mommy? Daddy?" Timmy asked, peeking his head in through our door.
"Yes baby?" I asked. He came into our room and sat on my lap.
"When is my bwaby swister or brother coming?" I smiled at my sweet boy.
"Soon baby. Why?" He shrugged. "Is everything okay?" He nodded. He snuggled his head into my neck and closed his eyes. In a matter of a few minutes he fell asleep. Xavier smiled.

"Mi familia." (My family). I smiled at him and kissed his lips.
"Stay with us?" He gave me a sad smile.
"I wish I could babe, but I have to get back to training." I looked down disappointed.
"I promise I will make it up to you." I nodded.
"I understand." Xavier got up and left. A little bit after Xavier left, I layed Timmy down on his bed and waited until he fell back asleep. I locked his windows and the door that leads out into the hallway and just left the door that conjoins his room into mine unlocked. I grabbed my towel and made my way into the bathroom. I hopped into the steaming hot water and tried to relax. But I just couldn't. I kept getting this nagging feeling in the pit of my stomach. Why are they after me? There is nothing special about me. I sighed and began to wash out my hair and body. I slowly shaved everything and just stood in the water for quite sometimes. When I finally felt like I was as clean as possible, I stepped out of the shower. Steam followed me out of the shower and into the bathroom. I wiped away the steam from the window and brushed my teeth. In all honesty, I find brushing my teeth pleasing. I don't know. I just like knowing that my mouth is clean and not having bad breath. After brushing my teeth, I brushed out my hair. When I was done with that, I began to moisturize.
"Hello gorgeous. " I jumped and looked behind me. There stood Axel. I looked at him confused.
"How did you get in?" I asked him, confused. I thought I locked the door to my bedroom. Axel raised up his hand and there dangled some keys.
"I just came to check up on you and make sure you were okay. I mean you are carrying my pup. I knocked a couple times, but when you didn't open the door, I got worried. So I went and got my keys and opened your door. I'm sorry I didn't mean to walk in on you." Axel looked at his feet sheepishly.
"It's fine. You just startled me." He smiled at me shyly and I smiled back at him. We stood there staring at each other for a while, before he slowly moved forward. I tensed up, when he raised his hand up to cup my cheek. My breathing was coming in hard and I could feel the sparks run up and down my body. His thumb ran across my cheek.
"You missed a little bit of lotion." He smiled at me, before turning around and walking out of the bathroom. Why was I a little disappointed that he didn't kiss me? Quickly, I changed into a pair of baggy sweats and a baggy shirt. My heart was still thundering in my chest.
"Hey Alena." Xavier walked into our room. I gave him a small smile.
"Hi." He came over to be and kissed my head.
"I'm sorry I had to leave." He looked at me.
"It's okay." I said. He pulled me into his arms and I pulled away right away laughing. Xavier looked at me slightly hurt and confused.
"You're sweaty and dirty." I laughed again. He broke out into a huge smile.
"Oh yeah?" I squealed as we ran around our room. Xavier is trying to capture me and smear his sweat all over me. Why was I disappointed in Axel not kissing me, when I have this amazing man by my side? Student mate bond. Xavier eventually captured me and threw me into the shower fully dressed. He soon followed in his own clothes and kissed me slowly.

High school life in a world where everyone has superpowers
So, um... how do I explain this simply? Okay, so... There's a girl, she's er... She's in high school, and, um... She has a superpower that mutes things? Also she lives? Yeah, sorry. The concept's too confusing isn't it? Warning: The stuff below is technically correct, but this fiction, with my other, is now on the failed pledge list. Shocking how a lack of updates for more than half a year actually meant something... Sorry for the delay, still not really up to writing for this series as of now (14/03/18 - remember I'm english, so correct) but I'm still trying to get into writing... Cover is thanks to Zenlith (WriTE's Founding Member). This fiction is signed under the 'The Pledge'... Some internet message in a forum about not dropping or giving a rushed ending in their fiction, otherwise meet the wrath of letting RRL mod Vocaloid have 'fun' with the fiction's description. So mainly for the sake of my fiction due to said wrath, I'll see this fiction through. Updates: up in the air... hopefully the day after this is edited, but we all have dreams. Warning for mild profanity, but it shouldn't happen too much for the innocent out there so don't take the warning to heart.

Web of Isolation
Dane Kain: he was, on the whole, very uninvolved with life. He never had any particularly lingering attachments to life and tended to let himself be carried away by the flow of things, a fact that would become very important after his sudden death when he awoke as something completely alien. Using some half remembered fun facts from his passing obsessions in life as well as a penchant for making things work that simply shouldn't, hopefully Dane will stand a chance as the creation he has now become.

An Average American in A High-school Academy Anime
An American versed in narrative tropes and more than mildly acquainted with anime wakes up in a completely different bed than the one he went to bed in. Now he has to scramble to understand where he is, what's going on, and hope to God he isn't in a relationship drama. I don't expect this to be good or well-received, but I have plenty of time this quarantine, so I'll try to get a chapter of 4000-10000 words out every one or two weeks. (haha) Please let me know how it can be improved. I'm an avid reader of fiction, but I've never really fallen down a rabbit hole so hard that I can name all tropes and settings and such by heart. I'm not sure if this will be effective satire, so I preemptively apologize. Inspired by: "My Life is Not a Manga, or maybe..." by EO Tenkey and "The Simulacrum" by Eganthale. Check them out if you want probably better stories than this one.
