She was sitting on her knees in the mud. The rain falling down on her blonde long hair, making her hair and clothes sticking on her skin.

Tears escaping her eyes running down her cheek. "28,29,30..." she counted again before she checked his breath again.

Nothing. She continued until she heard the sirens of the ambulance and they took over.

JJ stand frozen next to them, watching them try to get him back alive.

The wind made her shiver and she heard yelling and people pass her but she ignored them. She was focused on her friend on the floor, her heart pounding against her chest.

Her hands shaking. She was filled with fear that she could lose him. Her best friend, Spencer Reid.

Garcia stormed in the hospital together with Morgan.

"How is he?" Garcia asked breathless. Hotch slowly shook his head "It doesn't look good. He fell in a coma and we don't know if he ever will wake up again" he sighed sadly. Garcia's heart dropped and she fell on a chair.

Morgan slowly went to the window which was showing in Reid's room.

JJ was sitting at Reid's bed, his hand in her's. Tears made their way down her cheeks and fell at the white covers of the hospital bed.

She looked broken and scared. "I just told her the bad news. She didn't leave his bed since we are here" Hotch said as he made his way next to him.

"She loves him you know" Morgan said. "I know" Hotch said and nodded. "He loves her too" Garcia said as she suddenly stands behind them.

"we know" Hotch and Morgan said both.

Sleepless days for JJ followed. She spent day and night at the side of Spencer's bed.

She ate not much what made Garcia worried.

Will was annoyed by JJ that she spent so much time with Spencer but JJ didn't care at the moment. He could have left her she wouldn't care as long as Spencer would wake up.

After days where she barely slept and protested to go home she finally gave up her fight and fell asleep.

She rested her head on the bed next to Spencer.

Every hour she woke up and everytime she checked if he still breathed and if he still was with her.

Spencer opened his eyes slowely and looked at the bright white ceiling. He blinked a few times so he could see better.

When he looked around he saw the blonde agent next to her. She had grabbed his hand tightly and her head rested next to him on the covers.

"JJ" he said quietly not to scare her. JJ slowly opened her blue eyes and looked at Spencer.

"You're awake" she said happily while she reached up and carefully wrapped her arms around him. Spencer gave her a little smile and pulled her closer.

She looked in his brown eyes and explained him everything "I was so scared to lose you" she said with a shaking voice.

"I would never leave you alone" he whispered softly and put a strand of her hair back behind her ear.

A tear rolled down JJ's cheek. He whiped away the tear with his thumb before he pulled her closer and their lips met.

"I love you" Spencer said.

"I love you too" JJ said.

He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer to his chest so she could rest her head on it.

It didn't take long until she fell asleep. Now she knew he was with her and could sleep without waking up.

She was with him all the time and never left his side. No matter what happens, she will never let him go.
