So here's the Namelessshipping oneshot requested by
Also, most of my oneshots tend to run at least 5-9 pages on the word documents on my phone. I got a little carried away and this one ended up as 21 pages. I'm going to post it in three parts, sorry for the inconvenience, I hope you like it anyway XD Due to the fact that it's longer there may be a few more typos than usual that I didn't catch, sorry.
Enjoy!

Love has many hardships. Red had come to know that well. It hurt, so why even need it? That's what he thought. No one would love him, so why love anyone in return. The only welcoming thing in his life was the encompassing cold of the mountaintop cave, it's rigid chills made him feel isolated and safe.
Red glanced around the small cave, there wasn't much to look at. His sleeping bag was lazily thrown in the corner, his food supply was put near the entrance with ice around it to keep it cold, a small fire shone in the middle of the cave, and the raging blizzard covered his view of the outside world.
He felt something jump and settle on his shoulder, soft yellow fur pressing against his cheek. He scratched under Pikachu's chin and the mouse exclaimed in joy.
Red smiled. He could always count on his Pokemon too. He released his Pokemon from their Pokéballs and let them stretch. His Snorlax hugged him and Venusaur rested his head on Red's leg. Charizard spurred the fire on a little more, and Blastoise and Lapras replenished the ice around the food bag. Yes, his Pokemon loved him, and he loved his Pokemon.
Then why was there still a void in his heart?
He was rubbing Venusaur's head when he felt something buzz, a small chiming note coming from his Pokegear, causing Venusaur to jump. He looked at his wrist, a person's face showing up on the screen.
The person had spiky brown hair and large brown eyes that seemed to stare right through Red.
Green.
"Heya Red! How's it going?" Green asked in a cheerful voice, like it hadn't been four years since they last talked.
"..." Red grunted in response, trying not to make eye contact by looking at Pikachu instead.
"Still as silent as ever I see. Well anyway, I was wondering if you wanted to come down and hang out for a little while. Is that cool?" Green's eyes sparkled and Red had no idea what was going on.
His face must've shown it because Green immediately responded, "I just thought it would be cool to hang out every once in a while with my friend. We haven't really gotten to in a while, so yeah." he trailed off.
Red didn't know what to say, he hadn't spoken to Green in years and all of a sudden they were friends?
Red looked over at Pikachu, who nodded as if telling him to go. Red nodded to Green, he wanted to see what this was about, plus it would be nice to let his Pokemon take a break from the harsh mountain air.
"Great! Wow, that's great. Thank you. Umm... Meet me by my house tomorrow. Is that okay?" Green sounded overjoyed and Red was still trying to piece this together.
Red just nodded again, "Wow this is great. I can't wait to see you, see ya later!" Green ended the call, leaving Red dazed. What the hell was that?
Red put his Pokemon away in their Pokéballs and spread out his sleeping bag, laying down.

'I can't wait to see you...' Green's words shook in Red's skull. He knew the brown haired male didn't mean anything by it, but Red couldn't help but get a warm feeling from the words.
He couldn't believe he was saying this, but he couldn't wait to see Green tomorrow either.
The next morning came and the blizzard outside had calmed down. Red pulled out Charizard, petting it's head and whispering his destination to it. The large lizard nodded crouching down to let Red climb on its back. Red glanced one last time back at his cave before Charizard took off.
Red squinted as the wind stung his eyes, his hand flying up to hold his hat to his head so it didn't fall. It had been years since he had gone anywhere past the base of the mountain, and that was just for food. He took in the vast green landscape, he had forgotten the feeling of discovery that had come with the region.
Pallet town wasn't that far from Mt. Silver, so the fiery beast had already begun it's descent upon the small village. The lab came into view first, it was the biggest building in their humble town. Then one by one Red could see the houses.
His Charizard landed nicely by Green's house, letting it's trainer off its back. Red walked up to the door, he was having second thoughts about this. He looked over at his Charizard who was giving him a sarcastic stare, as if saying, "You came all this way, why turn around now?" and he was right.
Red released Pikachu and held him in his arms for reassurence, and then lightly knocked on the door. He hadn't seen people in forever, besides the occasional challenger that found themself on Mt. Silver, but he hadn't really communicated with them.
He didn't have time for second thoughts when a brown haired individual opened the door with a smile. It had been years but Red was still taller than Daisy by a head, that didn't stop her from being the authoritative figure she was though.
Daisy didn't look surprised when she saw Red at the door, she just nodded to him and said, "Wait over by the pond, he'll just be a minute."
Red strode over to the lake that held so many memories for him. He had encountered his first Pokemon here when he was just a boy. A Tangela had wandered into Pallet town and was alarmed when a small child had grabbed one of its many tangles.
Red pulled his knees up, Pikachu resting in his lap, and rested his face on the soft rodents fur, losing himself to memories.
The Tangela was scared by the sudden action that the little black haired boy had made and attacked. Just then a little brown haired boy ran the Tangela off with a stick shouting, "Don't hurt my friend!"
The smaller boy looked up with tears in his eyes, to see a boy offering his hand, "Hey Red, you okay?"
The boy's voice rang in his ears like it had happened only yesterday.
The wind shifted around Red and he felt eyes on him. When he turned around, the boy from his memories stood before him. Only now, the boy was much taller, older, and you could tell he had matured a lot throughout the years.
A small, brown, fox sat perched on the man's shoulder, with a yip it jumped off, running to greet it's friend Pikachu. "Hey Eevee, you can't just-" he was cut off when Eevee tackled Red, Red chuckled and pet the small creature setting it down, before gesturing for Pikachu to go play with it.

Green sat down beside Red, it was winter in Kanto so he had adorned a coat and scarf, while the red eyed male chose to wear his usual short sleeved jacket.
"Are you cold? I have another jacket inside if you need it." Green asked, starting to get up. Red shook his head and Green sat back down. Red looked at Green with a confused look, trying to tell him that he didn't know what was going on.
Green took notice, "I just wanted to hang out, yknow? Go places, do things, stuff like that. It's been a while Red." he explained. Red shot him a sarcastic look. "I know it's been four years but still Red, it must get lonely on that mountain right?" Green looked at him, a flash a sorrow running through his eyes, so fast Red almost didn't see it.
Red stayed silent.
"Hey Red, you know you can talk to me right? I'm not gonna hurt you. I know I used to be a real jerk, but if you ever need to really talk to someone, you can come to me." Green started, "So anyways, " he tried to lighten up the tone, "Where do you want to go?"
"No plan?" Red asked, his voice hoarse from disuse. He hadn't spoken to anyone but his Pokemon occasionally for the past four years. Hearing himself speak was weird and he wasn't sure he wanted to say anything more than a few words to get a point across right now.
He had forgotten how vital speech was to interaction, he was always a quiet child when he was little.
"Uh umm. I mean I figured since you came all the way down, that maybe you would want to pick where to go." Green said flustered, he wasn't expecting Red to think he had a plan.
Red was getting more suspicious by the minute. Green had called him down from the mountain after four years, just to hang out. On top of that he didn't have a plan. Green hated him. Why would he do this?
When Red was on his journey, Green had always greeted him with, "Hey loser!" or "Who brought the weakling?" or things like that. Why was he so nice all of a sudden.
They both fell silent, the awkward tension was thick in the air. Red finally spoke, breaking the silence, "Museum?" he practically whispered, and Red was surprised that Green had actually heard him.
There were a lot of places Red would've liked to go during his journey, he just simply couldn't with all that was going on. So why not take this opportunity to see some of the things he had always wanted to see?
"The one in Pewter city?" Green asked, leaning forward to make eye contact with Red. When Red nodded, Green's face lit up with a smile, "Then come on let's go!" he grabbed Red's arm and drug him towards his house.
"Pidgeot!" The large bird that was roosting on top of the house swooped down, Green got on the ginormous bird's back. Charizard had also caught up and Red hoisted himself onto the mighty lizard once again.
Soon they were both soaring high above the clouds, Green had laid back on his Pidgeot and started going on about how he was the best gym leader ever, but not in the way he used to.
He used to force it on everyone that he was the best, as if trying to prove that there was no match for him and that everyone was beneath him, but now he just said it to poke fun and he said it lightly with no real intention behind it other than to add on to his stories about life as a gym leader.
Red felt something stir up in him. Something he hadn't felt before. It felt nice and new and warm and he wanted to embrace it, but he couldnt. He didn't know how. It felt helplessly far beyond his reach.
Shaking the thoughts from his head, Red landed his Charizard in front of the Pewter Pokémon Center, Green following suit behind him. Red put his Charizard back in its Pokéball, as did Green with his Pidgeot. Green grabbed Red's hand and they walked in silence towards the museum.
Red looked down at their interlocked hands, he couldn't feel Green's skin because they were both wearing gloves, but the heat of another person was enough to make Red's face heat up as well.
When they arrived Green opened the door for Red, who walked in, taking in the actual size of the building around him. It was much bigger on the inside than the outside.
Red walked forward, his eyes glued to the ceiling, mesmerized. He was caught off gaurd when someone grabbed him by the arm, "Where are you going? Have you paid?" a security gaurd looked at Red sternly, and Red shrank under his gaze. His skin grew hot and his heart raced.
Red was afraid. He was afraid that this man was talking to him. He was afraid that the man was waiting for a response. He was afraid of the grip this man had on him.
His breath quickened and he stood frozen in shock. He needed to get away, this was too much, he didn't need this.
"He's with me. Sorry sir, he doesn't get out often." Red heard Green's voice behind him. The guard let go of Red's arm and Red took a deep heaving breath. He felt Green's arms wrap around him, "Hey are you okay? What's the matter?" Green asked frantically.
"Outside, please." Red whispered, Green nodded and walked with Red outside. Red leaned against the wall of the museum and took a deep breath of air, the cool sting in his lungs comforting. Green put his hands to Red's cheeks and looked him in the eyes, "What happened? Did he hurt you?" Green's look of concern made Red's skin crawl, not in a bad way but it was a weird feeling. The soft, glove covered, hands on his face gave him goosebumps.
"No. Sorry." Red spoke softly, Green lowered his hands onto Red's shoulders, "That's good. What happened then?" he asked. Red didn't know how to explain it, it always happened when he had to talk to strange people or when people he didn't know put hands on him.
His mom had told him once when he was little, she said that Red had a form of it that made interacting with new people hard. She also said it contributed to why Red was so selectively mute.
"Social anxiety." Red breathed. Green stepped back, his face softening, "I knew you had it, I didn't know it was this bad. Sorry."
What was Green apologizing for? It's not his fault Red wandered off on his own. It's not his fault that the guard put hands on him. It wasn't even his fault that Red had anxiety.
Green looked up again, "I don't make you feel like that do I?" he asked, genuinely wanting to know the answer.
Red shook his head and Green sighed with relief, "Well, I'll stay by you from now on. We have to stop by the reception desk first before we can go into the museum okay?" he asked nicely. It wasnt patronizing or anything like that, he just wanted his friend to feel safe.
They walked back inside, Green had linked their hands once again and they stepped up to the desk. "I need an ID." she said monotonously, she didn't look like she even wanted to be here. Green pulled his trainer card out of his wallet and handed it to the lady behind the desk.
Her face lit up with recognition and she stood up, "I'm very sorry for the inconvenience Mr. Oak!" she bowed. Green waved her off, "Its fine." Green set his Pokéballs on the table and told Red to do the same.
Pikachu tugged on his pant leg and gave him a look.
"Does he have to go too?" Red asked Green low enough where only he could hear.
"Unfortunately yes. They've had to ramp up security after a group claiming to be Neo Team Rocket showed up and tried to rob the Silph Company." Green explained, Red called Pikachu back into its Pokéball and reluctantly set it on the counter with the others.
They entered the museum, finally, and Red took a look around him. It was amazing! It held so many more things than Red ever thought he could remember in a lifetime. From boats to ancient Pokemon, to unknown heirogliphs.
Red went to take a step forward when he bumped into someone's arm. The person looked back, saying sorry before continuing, but it made Red realize that there were quite a few people here at the moment.
He started to get uncomfortable, and unconciously started searching for Green's hand with his own. When his hand made contact with Green's, the boy's hand squeezed back in reassurance.
Red's heart leaped and started to beat a little faster. It wasn't a bad change of pace in his heart, but it was unsettling nonetheless to Red. He couldn't start to feel things like this, because then he would start to miss them when he went back to the mountain.
He and Green looked at a lot of the things the museum had to offer. Green's favorite was a perfect model of the S.S. Ann, while Red's favorite was the different fossils that they had, Omanyte in particular, the weird shell pattern almost spoke to him.
But what was really catching Red's eye, was the man next to him. He had changed so much over the years, and Red hadn't even gotten to see it. The anger and frustration in his eyes had been replaced by mischievousness and compasion, and if Red was being honest, he was jealous of the person who could've caused this much of a change of heart for his rival.
The way his eyes sparkled. The way his gaze softened whenever he looked at Red. The way he would subtly put himself on the side of Red that was facing more people. Who was this new man that Red felt he had known all his life?
Red snapped out of his daze when he realized that Green wasn't talking anymore, they had both stopped to talk, leaning on the rail that overlooked the bottom floor. Red looked over at Green who was smiling back at him.
This can't be real. He can't make me feel this. Not now. Not after all these years.

Pillars Between Us
It started with the dent left by the Forest Sprite; A small crack in the ice that encased his memories. Curtis knew that something was off, realizing that he wasn’t who he thought he was and— perhaps Ellis wasn’t the one meant for him. --It's a fantasy novel set in a world where people inhabit on pillars-- (think of m*necaft sky block, you'll get what I mean) -- then give it a hint of action, mystery and (twisted) romance-- and it's influenced by Japanese fantasy light novels (cuz I read a lot of em'). But I'm sure it's a weird one cuz the style of writing isn't the Japanese to English translated kind of style but rather the orthodox English novel kind of writing (which includes a bunch of errors and broken English thanks to me!). In any case, if you're up for it, just beware the story starts out pretty slow.. I mean-- back then, I was still inexperienced ok! I'm gettin' better along the way, Hmmph!
