When I opened my eyes, I didn't see myself in the nurse's office. Instead, I saw a room that was pretty much empty except a few chairs, some medical supplies, and I saw a bunch of tubes and wires hooked up to my body.
I felt terrible. My head hurt really bad and I could barely move that much, the only thing I could do right now was sit up in the bed I was resting on.
But, I wasn't alone. I slightly shifted my head and saw Todoroki sitting next to my bed, he saw that I was awake and his face turned to happy.
"Oh, thank god you're awake, Midoriya!" My friend said with relief.
I looked at Todoroki, "What all happened, exactly?" I asked him.
"Me, Asui, and Tokoyami found you being attacked by that villain and we caught her before she got any of your blood. When The Pro's got to us, they said you had to be rushed to the hospital because of the amount of blood you lost. You've been asleep for two days," Todoroki explained.
After Todoroki said that, I turned my gaze to the bed I was on, "I'm a really crappy hero in training," I said.
"What?" Todoroki asked, his eyes were wide.
"You heard me. Everyone else at UA is so awesome with their quirks, and look at me, I'm a weakling who can't even master my own quirk. I'm always getting beat up badly or having to put on a hospital bed," I told the male next to me sadly.
I did speak the truth though, I suck. Yeah, I saved people but did I ever beat a whole lot of villains at once like the rest of my classmates? No, I didn't. My quirk gives me strength, but I break all my limbs and have to be saved by somebody else when I use it.

Todroki looked at me, and to my surprise, he hugged me. "Don't ever say those things about yourself, Midoriya, they're not true. We still have a couple more years at UA, you'll get better at your quirk."
My emerald eyes were wide when he said those things, and I hugged the boy with the red and white hair back, "Thanks, Todoroki...For everything."
We both then let go, and we stared right at each other. Our faces were inches apart, and we slowly leaned closer towards one another until the hospital room burst open with all of the students of Class 1-A.
Todoroki and I scrambled back from each other and I could feel my face turning a million shades of pink and red. "We were so worried, Midoriya!" Yaoyorozu said to me.
"Yeah, that villain attack was terrible," stated Kirishima, the redhead looked over at Kacchan standing there with his arms crossed and he nudged him in the shoulder. Kacchan glared at his friend and said, "Yeah, happy you're safe or whatever."
"We're so glad to see you awake!" Uraraka beamed, and she hugged me tightly again. Seriously, it's like she has a freaking death grip!
I finally got out of my best friends grasp and smiled at my class, "Thanks a lot, guys, it means a whole lot that you're here."
Asui smiled, "We're your friends, of course, we would visit you!"
"Yeah, plus we don't want you to be alone the whole time you're here," said Iida.
"Let's do a group hug!" Ashido suggested.
"Oh, god no," Kacchan said, but Kirishima dragged the angry male into the hug all of the class hung onto each other. I smile brightly as I embraced my friends, it made me really happy that I have good friends like this.

My class talked for a while, and I found out that I was staying in the hospital for the whole rest of the week. Which made me kinda mad because I would miss the rest of our assignment, but it is what it is I guess.
"Alright class, we've been here longer than we are supposed too, let's get going back to U.A," said Mr. Aizawa.
That comment got a lot of groans and complaints, but the class obliged. Todoroki got up and joined the class as well. "Get better, Midoriya," Mr. Aizawa told me before leaving.
Then, All Might walked into the room. He was in his Hero Form and had his arms crossed, I sorta knew he was angry even with the large smile on his face. "H-hi, All Might!" I say sheepishly.
"Young Midoriya, what did I tell you not to do?" He asked.
"Um, don't scream your name in public when you have your other form on, don't break your bones that much, don't imitate you-"
"No! Not that! Where did I tell you not to go?!"
I was confused for a moment, but then it all came back to me, "Don't go near Forty-fourth and fifth street," I told All Might.
All Might nodded, "And what did you do?"
I dropped my head, "Go near Forty-fourth and fifth street."
My mentor sighed and pinched his nose, "Young Midoriya. You're a smart kid, but sometimes you're pretty..." All Might thought for a moment, "Not smart!"
"I know, All Might, I'm really sorry," I apologized to my idol.
All Might sat next to me, "I accept your apology, but you need to be more careful and remember what I say to you."
"I will, All Might. I promise!" I tell him with a small smile on my face.
"That's great, kid," All Might said. We stayed there talking until visiting time was over and I had to go to bed.
On Friday was the day my mom came to visit me. When she saw me on the hospital bed the rushed over to me and gave me the biggest hug in the whole world. "Oh, my goodness Izuku! I'm so sorry I couldn't visit you! Work had me stay extra hours and when I did try to visit they said you were asleep!" My mother exclaimed.
I gripped onto my mom and hugged her back, "It's okay, mom, you don't need to apologize."
My mom let go of me and smiled, "I heard what happened, how are you feeling baby?" she asked while rubbing my back.
"I'm doing good, but I'm still feeling tired from the blood loss," I say to my mother.
"Well, today I'm taking you home. You can rest all you want and I'll make you your favorite dinner," My mother smiled.
My eyes widened, "Ramen and Bento?!" I asked, my mouth already drooling from saying the words of the delicious food.
"Yes, Izuku, Ramen, and Bento," My mom said with her beautiful smile.
My mom and I got my medications and she gave me new clothes to change in when we left the hospital. Both of us drove to our small apartment building and I crawled right into my bed, falling asleep happily in my own comfy sheets.

The Arcane Gunslinger
A lazy celestial being's mistake leads to Sergeant William Remington, a decorated member of the Coalition Marines, to be placed into a new body. His old life aboard the Valkyrie, an interstellar destroyer has also been replaced as he finds his new body in an unknown world. Where he learns of magic, skills, the system, helhorses, and slinging lead with ancient revolvers. Initially, he is skeptical of his new norm but the desire to survive leads him to try to earn a living while he figures out what just happened to his life. He's a fighter but far from the elite, a grunt with some experience. But what better way than to fall back to what he's familiar with, weapons and going after criminals and rebels. With the added challenges of monsters. This is my first Litrpg writing. It's a wild west fantasy setting with the MC taking a role as a gun-slinging bounty hunter in a world of magic and monsters. Hope you enjoy it. UPDATES AT 3PM EST ON MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS! Warning. The story has a slow start because I'm trying to keep my MC realistic. It takes him some time to adjust to his new surroundings, start to make some friends, and really get into the swing of it. I kind of think it's dumb when an isekai's MC manages to blink twice and suddenly adapts to their new world without any sort of struggle or learning period. So not doing that but don't worry Will may be confused and a bit unfocused at first but he'll grow into his own. Also using it to practice my digital artwork... which is far from par but improving. Keep an eye on author notes for maps and depictions of monsters and characters.
