《✶ c h a n g e d ✶ { Female Deku AU }》Forty Eight

I was pacing back and forth in my room, nervous. It was Saturday, and my date with Shoto was today. I was nervous because I had a hard time picking out my outfit. I didn't know whether to be formal, casual, or in between.
Having enough of being completely confused, I contacted Uraraka and Asui. I really needed help and they were my best option about getting ready for a date. After shooting them a text, I heard rapid running down the halls and quick knocking on my dorm room door. Opening it, I found Uraraka and Asui, panting and trying to catch their breaths.
"Y-You called for a-a-assistance?" Uraraka asked while breathing heavily.
I looked at them and chuckled somewhat. "Yes, I did. Did you seriously run all the way over here?" I asked them, peering down the long hallway.
"We run when there is an emergency, so we ran," Asui replied, holding her hands on her knees.
I let them into my dorm room and they looked at me. "Okay, you said there was a clothing emergency. What is it?" Asked Uraraka.
"Well...Shoto and I have a date today, and I have no idea what to wear! Do I dress casual, or fancy, super casual?! I don't have a clue!" I stressed.
"Where are you two going today? The location can really help with the outfit choice," said Uraraka.
"I don't know! Shoto said it was a surprise!"
"This just made things even harder," Asui commented.
I agreed and I then continued to pace around my dorm room. Asui and Uraraka then started to look through my closet. They searched through dresser drawers, stuff that was hanging in my closet, and boxes on the bottom of my little closet space. Clothes were all over my room.
"Wait-OH I FOUND SOMETHING!" Uraraka exclaimed happily and pulled out a dress from one of the boxes. It was a medium length dark green sundress with little white flower designs.
I remembered that my mom sent me that dress a month or two ago. She said I needed more Spring/Summer clothing so she got me the dress and a few other things. I never really had the time to wear it.
"It's formal and casual at the same time, the dress is perfect!" Asui pointed out with a small smile on her face.
"Yeah, I guess you guys are right! I just hope it's okay enough..." I looked at the dress, my finger on my chin.

Uraraka gave me an are-you-kidding-me-deku?™ look and responded with, "Deku, this is Todoroki we are talking about! He seriously thinks you look good in everything!"
I was still eyeing the piece of clothing in Uraraka's hand, "really?" I asked.
"Definitely! Now go put this on!" My friend handed me the dress and a took it and now had it in my hands. I then went into my closet and put the dress on, once I came out my two besties looked at me proudly.
"You look amazing, Midoriya!" Smiled Asui.
"I agree. That dress is so cute on you!" Uraraka softly squealed and grinned.
I walked over by the mirror and saw myself in the dress. I couldn't disagree with Asui and Uraraka, the dress was nice. The girls then helped me pick out some shoes to go with the dress and did my makeup, I always let them do it since I was still learning and didn't want to look like a raccoon on my date.
After some time had passed, there was a knock on my door. Uraraka and Asui got up quickly and opened the door, there stood Shoto. He had a confused expression on why they answered the door. "Hey, Todoroki!" Uraraka beamed.
"Hi!" Greeted Asui.
"Um...Hi guys. Is Izuku here?..." Shoto questioned, peering over my two short friends, trying to see where I was.
I quickly got up and slightly shoved the girls out of the way. "H-Hey, Shoto! Sorry about these two..." I motion to Uraraka and Asui, who was standing in the back, smirking and watching Shoto and me.
"It's fine...Uh, here. These are for you," my boyfriend handed me a bouquet of flowers. It was full of lilies, tulips, and daffodils. It was so pretty.
"Oh! Thank you!" I smiled and took the flowers from Shoto and blushed a little. I saw the male in front of me turn a little pink as well.
"Awww, that's so sweet!" Asui and Uraraka said in unison. Shoto and I turned deeper shades of pink and I set the flowers on my desk. I then returned back to the boy with the red and white hair.
"Okay, we're leaving. Goodbye, you two!" I grabbed Shoto's hand and started leaving my dorm, but I heard them calling after us;
"Have fun on your date, you two!"
"Make sure to use protection!" I heard them laughing loudly in the halls. I swear I looked like a tomato right now.

I looked up at Shoto, "again, I'm so sorry."
Shoto shrugged it off. "It's fine, my siblings are the same way. They saw and read a card you left me when I was still in the hospital and they were making fun of me the whole time they visited me."
"I bet they would have done something like that. Anyway, where are we going?" I asked Shoto, now leaving the dorms. We already had permission to leave.
"I told you, it's a surprise," replied Shoto.
"Why can't you tell me. I thought you loved me!" I played the 'love' card on Shoto, maybe it would have some effect on him. I didn't, he still left me clueless.
"I do love you, Izuku. Very much. I just want this to be a surprise."
"Fine...But I'll keep bugging you about it the whole way."
"Okay, then."
"We're really close, so I'm going to cover your eyes so the surprise isn't ruined," Shoto informed me and then covered my eyes with his hands.
"Alright...But make sure I don't bump into anything, Shoto," I warned him, kinda getting skeptical about him covering my vision.
"I will, Izuku, don't worry," my boyfriend replied.
We started walking while Shoto hid my eyes with his hands. I held onto his arm for support just to be careful and a short while later, we stopped. I was thriving with anticipation to see where we were. All I knew was that it was a place we have been to before.
"We're here," Shoto told me then released his hands from my face. I scanned my surroundings and gasped.
Shoto and I were in a park filled with beautiful cherry blossom trees, a little river with water lilies floating on the surface of the water, colorful flowers and a small bridge that looked across the river. We were in the park, standing in the exact same spot, where Shoto and I had our first kiss.
My boyfriend looked at my amazed face and smiled, "I told you I would bring you here when everything was in bloom. It just took a little while..."
Turning to the tall male I loved with all my heart, I wrapped my arms around him. "You don't have to apologize, what matters is that we're here now, together. Also, thank you so much for bringing me here, Shoto. It's so beautiful."
"You're welcome, Izuku. And yes, this place is beautiful, but you're prettier than everything here," Shoto smiled warmly at me and my face shifted to a bright pink again.
I covered my face a little to hide my deep blush. "Thank you."
Shoto took my hands away from my face and kissed me on the lips. I giggled a little and returned the action. It was like nostalgia when we kissed for the first time in the winter time. I still remembered that day like it was yesterday, and I would never forget it either.
We broke apart we stood there for a little while, just smiling for a few moments. Then, we decided to take a stroll around the park and get some ice cream. We walked and talked, and soon we just sat down on one of the park benches.
"Are you excited about the Provisonal Licensing Exam?" Asked Shoto.
I gave him a little nod. "I guess. I'm not so excited about doing the exam that much, but at least we'll get our hero lincences and we will be able to fight villains! That's the good part. What about you?"
"I'm feeling the same way, but I'll do fine I think," Shoto replied.
"I say we'll both do great! We just need to practice and have a good time while doing so!" I tell Shoto, trying to boost up some confidence. I had a big smile on my face and my fists were in the air.
Shoto smiled. "I guess we will just have to wait and see."
I kept smiling and we kept talking for a while. Still kinda on the topic of the Lincensing Exam. The sun soon started to set above us, and we started to leave. Shoto and I held hands as we walked back to the dorms.
"You wanna know something?" I asked while Shoto and I walked hand in hand down the sidewalk.
"What?" Shoto inquired.
"I'm so happy we can finally hold hands and...Just be a real couple in public. No hiding from anybody."
"No standing six feet away from each other."
"No longer not being able to kiss when people are around."
"It's now just us."
"Only us. No one else."
Shoto and I just smile and proceed to walk back to the dorms. This has been such a great day, I kinda didn't want it to end. But, everything good has to end I guess...
