~ time skips ~

group a and b both arrived at the warehouse. the camera crew wasn't filming them yet, and the two of them were waiting for the warehouse to open.

"so, how's everything?" kwangji asked, to pass some time.

"okay." minhyuk replied. "how's your hand?"

"that's out of the blue; my hand is okay. why are you asking?"

"maybe because y/n came to our dorm crying with two hand marks on her face." jooheon popped in, anger slowly building up. "seriously, what's wrong with you?"

"wh-what? i didn't do anything!"

"yeah, right. you are an obnoxious person for hurting her not once, but twice." changkyun added.

"what did she tell you?"

"she spilled everything about her ugly past. you know she never knew anything about guys before. why hurt her so much?" jooheon asked.

"look, you don't know how much she hurt me."

"but was bringing hoseok in that necessary?" kihyun also joined in.

"this isn't your business. you should stay out of it if i were you."

"this may not be our business, but we have one job; it's to protect chae y/n. and if you ever hurt her again, we will do something about it." shownu said, walking up to kwangji, holding the collar of his shirt. kwangji shook out of fear and nodded. shownu let go of his shirt and shook his head, walking back to his group.

"you know, we actually wanted to be friends with you guys." minhyuk started. "but, after hearing what you did, we don't know if we should even talk to you anymore."

"my question is, why are you guys getting mad at the rest of us?" yoonho asked. "we were not in this whole mess."

kwangji glared at yoonho, who seemed to ignore him.

"yeah, if anything, you should be mad at our leader, not the rest of us." seokwan added.

"we'll think about it, but for now, kwangji, we want nothing to do with you anymore." jooheon responded.

kwangji, who felt defeated, just nodded with his head down.

the doors of the warehouse finally opened, and the two groups were welcomed by hyungwon.

"are you all ready?" he asked, smiling. the trainees nodded and followed him into the place.

"here, put the cameras here, and wait on the stage." he ordered, patting the empty table. kihyun gave jooheon the cameras, who hesitantly put their bag on the table. yoonho, on the other hand, placed his cameras next to jooheon's and walked away.

jooheon looked for y/n to see if she was anywhere nearby. he spotted her, coming to the table with one of the camera crew members.

the two made eye contact and nodded, and he walked away with the rest of his group.

"is there any chance i can look over these cameras?" she asked the crew member, who was a part of the editing team. she nodded and gave y/n the cameras.

the crew member led her into another room in the warehouse, where there were a bunch of other people working on computers. y/n walked over to the lady's station, where she hooked up some cords to the cameras that were in the bag.

a video popped up for each camera, and y/n sat on the chair, moving the mouse and clicking on the different videos. she looked at the crew member, who was leaning on the top of the chair and watching her.

"could i look at these privately?" she asked the lady.

"i'm just keeping an eye out just in case you delete the footage somehow."

"i won't. i know how to play videos."

the lady just nodded and walked away. y/n put on the earphones that were hooked onto the speaker and started playing the videos one by one.

those idiots. she thought to herself, watching and trimming the footage where it needed to be.

after going through all of the videos, y/n stood up from the chair and thanked the crew member that let her access the footage, then exited the room.
