~ time skips ~
the two groups said their farewells and separated into their dorms. shownu unlocked the door, and the rest of them all groaned and went straight for the couch. they just ate a delicious lunch, for which kwangji paid.
"watch me pass out pretty soon." changkyun said, closing his eyes. "i'm full."
"it was a little interesting how they sang a song about something so sad." jooheon continued. "while we wrote about us in general. i felt a little stupid when i watched them perform."
i wonder what y/n's doing right now. kihyun thought to himself, taking out his phone from his pocket. he contemplated whether to text her or not, but he remembered that she looked a little upset earlier today.
: hey y/n
: you seemed a little down earlier. are you okay?
surprisingly, she texted back quickly, which made kihyun feel a bit excited.
: i did? when?
: before we performed today, i saw you in the back row
: you seemed a little, idk
: upset? confused?
: oh, don't worry
: i was probably spacing out
: by the way, you all did awesome today!
: especially you, you killed your part
at this point, he was smiling like a fool, and the compliment made his heart flutter.
: thank you!
: did you eat yet?
: yes, i ate some ice cream with my dad after the warehouse
: and then we're planning on having pizza tonight for dinner
: did you?
: yes
: surprisingly, we ate with the other group
: i thought you guys were all mad at them?
: they wanted to apologize and stuff, and they even paid for our lunch!
: it was delicious, not going to lie
: that's good to hear.
: sorry to cut it short, but my dad wants me to do something.
: talk to you later, kihyun!
: alright y/n. bye!

y/n lied; she couldn't handle it any longer. she felt too embarrassed for some reason to text him. why are you like this? he is just your friend! she thought, face-palming herself. friend, that sounds funny, calling him a friend.
but, she was also a little shocked that he saw her like that earlier. she wasn't spaced out or anything; she was just upset and confused. she was thinking about her feelings for him, and she didn't mean to worry him at all.
"look at this hyung, he's smiling like an idiot!" jooheon teased, pointing at kihyun. kihyun looked up from his phone and threw a pillow at his friend, covering his face with his hands at the same time.
"she looked upset earlier. i had to ask if she was alright or not." kihyun responded. the others oohed and awed him, making him feel flustered again.
"look at him, paying attention to the little details." minhyuk joked. "makes me wanna vomit."
"whatever!" kihyun shouted, throwing another pillow at minhyuk. "but she said she was spacing out. she got me worried for a bit."
"you weren't worried when you were stuffing your face with those bread rolls." shownu added on to the jokes. kihyun rolled his eyes, laughing.
"she's like the only thing that goes on in my head. it is so bad to the point i was looking at her while i was singing the chorus!" he continued, sighing.
"i hope she isn't the only thing in your head." minhyuk pointed out. "because someone's birthday is coming up in four days!"
"don't worry, we'll figure out something." shownu told him. "that's why it's called a surprise."
minhyuk grinned, liking the words that came out of shownu's mouth. while he was looking forward to his birthday surprise, kihyun was still thinking of y/n, as if she was the only thing left in the world.

Under a Boundless Sky
If you were to ask someone what they thought of Revian Snow, they would say that she's small. Cute too. Doesn't talk much. Average grades, and hard to find in a crowd, though you'd think that someone with her looks would be more noticeable. She also plays the popular VRMMO's for some reason, but doesn't like to interact with others too much, even online. In short, she doesn't stand out too much. She likes it that way—After all, it's much easier to keep a secret when nobody's looking for one. If you enjoy my work, please consider supporting me on Patreon. Words I Left Unsaid
"Like a treasure map in a bottle, We were slowly drifting apart, Mother Nature sailing our purpose out to sea, The more I got to know you, I realised how much of a hoax your devotion was, Almost as fake as the smile I paint across my shattered face."This collection of poetry releases trauma in the form of expression - mainly the words I could never build up the courage to say. Most of these poems present conflict of the mind and allude to mental health struggles, which may be relatable to a certain community of people.Ranks -#3 in poem#3 in poembook#8 in poetry collection #7 in sadpoems#6 in poemcollection #7 in wisdom #15 in poetic
