~ time skips ~
it was getting late, and y/n already left. kihyun went into the bathroom to shower, which made everyone else gather around in the living room.
"since his birthday is coming up, we have to make a surprise for him." minhyuk suggested. the others agreed with him, nodding.
"we have to bring y/n." jooheon added on. "that's the highlight of this."
"and we need to get chicken; he can't live without that." shownu joined in.
"imagine if we made y/n go into a big box, and when he opens it, she pops out with the cake." jooheon said. everyone else looked at him as if he was stupid.
"no way we're doing that. he is not a child, changkyun." minhyuk told him, rolling his eyes.
"or, what if we ask y/n to ask him out?"
"we don't even know if she likes him."
"there's only one way to find out!" changkyun exclaimed, taking out his phone from his pocket. the older ones stopped him.
"no way we're doing that now. let's wait, and see if we all come up with new ideas since his birthday is only two weeks away." shownu suggested. the others stopped just in time because kihyun came out of the bathroom.
"what happened? i heard yelling." kihyun asked, looking a little concerned.
"the youngest was gonna do something stupid." shownu replied. kihyun just sighed and chuckled, shaking his head at the same time.
"you rascal." he told changkyun, walking to his drawer.
~ couple weeks later ~
"hurry up! get the cake!" jooheon scolded changkyun. it was finally kihyun's birthday, and they bought his favorite food and cake.
changkyun quickly took the cake out of the freezer and unboxed it, putting the candles on top of it. shownu lit them, and the four of them waited for kihyun to come back from the store.

they heard the door unlock and saw the doorknob turn. the door opened, and kihyun was there, holding paper bags full of groceries.
"happy birthday, yoo kihyun!" the others cheered. minhyuk was quick to run and placed a party hat on his head to match with the others. kihyun smiled brightly, happy that his friends were able to do a sweet thing for him.
"thank you." he thanked, putting down the groceries by the kitchen sink. the others sang happy birthday to him, and he made a wish, blowing out the candles afterward.
he looked around the dorm, a little sad at the result. "did y/n come?"
"did she?" changkyun teased. all of a sudden, someone knocked on the door. kihyun looked at the door, then back at the others.
"is that her?" he asked, excitement slowly filling his body. the others shrugged.
"go see for yourself." jooheon replied, smiling. kihyun quickly walked to the door and looked into the peephole. his heart started to race, seeing her on the other side.
"i might explode." he told them, looking down at the ground. "i don't know if my heart can handle seeing her."
"hyung, stop being a chicken and open the door!" changkyun complained. "i wanna see y/n too, you know?"
kihyun took a deep breath and opened the door. she looked up from the ground and met eyes with him. the two of them started to blush, their feelings getting to them. they looked away from each other quickly, embarrassed.
"happy birthday, kihyun!" she quickly said, giving him a gift bag and balloons. he smiled again, his face starting to get more red.
"thank you y/n." he let her into the dorm, closing the door after him.
"no hug? come on, y/n always hugs the birthday boy!" jooheon exclaimed. the two looked at each other again, then looked at the ground.
how am i supposed to do this? y/n thought to herself, her mind going blank. kihyun, on the other hand, was brave enough to pull her into an embrace. she hugged him, missing the feeling of it. she felt that they have not hugged in such a long time, and hugging him now made her feel happy all over again.

Magriculture (Rewrite)
When Aurum Industries announced the first Full Immersion Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (FIVRMMORPG if you're hip) Limitless Online, most people saw it as an opportunity to live out their sword and sorcery fantasies. John, however, saw it as the opening of a new and as of yet uncrowded job market. One he was willing, and eager, to exploit. Determined to make money through virtual hard work and effort, John sets his sights not on the heights of magic or the perfection of the sword, but instead upon the tilling of the soil and the sowing of seeds as he explores the wide and wonderful world of magical agriculture all from the comfort of his own bed. Disclaimer: This is a rewrite of the original "Magriculture", which some of you may have read. (To those who did, you have my deepest gratitude, it is absolutely because of your patronage and comments that this rewrite happened, and I feel the story is better for it.) That said, this story is not a complete and polished work, there will be mistakes and errors, an occasionally these errors may mean I need to rewrite portions of the story (as of this posting the story has gone through two major rewrites already, and I'm seriously hoping there won't be need of a third.) Because of this, there may at times be changes. Such changes may be as small as editing a few numbers (such as going back and changing how much mana an object holds) or it may force me to re-write entire chapters (this has happened once already, and I'm really hoping it doesn't happen again, but... life). Minor re-writes will probably never be posted here. Major rewrites probably will. Anyway, what this boils down to is: If you're looking for a fully cohesive story with few to no errors and publisher level editing, this is not the story for you. If you're looking for a cohesive plot that's more than "Man farms, man farms, man farms well, man maybe makes money" you're probably also in the wrong place, but I will attempt to entertain you anyway.

The White Rabbit
In the Urillian Empire, the Empress Xandra rules three-quarters of the planet Xren from her home in the capital of the Earth Continent. Both the fire and water peoples have fallen under her might after a series of wars stretching back three centuries. Earth elves, under Xandra's rule, have spread throughout the planet and established colonies, and are, by all accounts, enjoying what seems to be a prosperous and happy existence. But not everyone in Uril is happy. The holy books speak of elves as the Chosen People of Thesis, tasked with guiding and protecting the lower races. For some people, this scripture has been interpreted to designate their life as one on the lowest rungs of society. Humans have been reduced to a slave class, and serve their elven masters under Xandra's rule, kept at bay by the constant fear of the dreaded Emerald Knight, and their own perceived weakness. Humans do not lead long lives, nor do they possess the wisdom, power, or magical acumen of their elven masters. But there is hope. A group of people have banded together to fight against Xandra, her Knight, and her empire. They call themselves the "Knights of Order" united under the principle idea that Xandra's reign has brought chaos unto Xren, and they wish to restore order. These Knights are led by a man named Xaxac Brigaddon, spoken of as a legend. They say that when the moons are full, some humans transform into powerful beasts. They say that Xaxac is the most powerful warrior on Xren, that in his youth he was enslaved and forced to fight other humans to the death in a bloodsport called "cage fighting", that he could not be touched and held the world championship title for three years running until he faked his own death and escaped his master to join the resistance. They say that he has friends in high places- noblemen, pirates, and the devil himself. They say that if you can find him, he can ferry you to freedom in places where the Earth Elves fear to tread. They say that he is immune to magical attack, and his eyes shine like the silver moon. They say that he is descended from Quizlivian Brigaddon, one of the humans who helped the demon Magnus escape a god. They say that if you want to walk the Path of Order, you should follow the White Rabbit.Come and watch the transformation from human boy to Knight of Order: The life and times of Xaxac OfAgalon OfLangil Brigaddon. Content Warning: This work is based on the real experiences of human trafficing survivors. Xaxac's origins are based on true events, and they are presented realisitcally; this includes but is not limited to: isolation, gaslighting, emotional and sexual abuse, and grooming tactics. This work is meant to hold a mirror up to society; it is based on the real of experiences of people who have experienced slavery and/or abuse. It is an adult work and probably should not be read by anyone under the age of 18. If you are a survivor of human trafficing and/or abuse, your feedback is welcome, but please do not read this if you think it may trigger your trauma. I did not write this with the intention of harming anyone, but rather to provide accurate representation for a group that does not normally get it in the hopes of changing the zeitgeist. I would like to see a world where more people understand what these experiences are like, so that real survivors do not have to deal with microagressions from an ignorant public. Reader discretion is highly advised.
