y/n ran back to her house, seeing kihyun in the same place she left him from earlier, with more snacks. he looked up from his phone and smiled when he met eyes with her.

"so, how did it go?" he asked her, giving her his bag of chips.

"it actually went really well." she grinned, remembering what happened. "we're friends again."

"that's good. i told you it wasn't going to be so bad, right?"

"shhh. i know, you're right."

"as always."

y/n pushed his arm, making him fall to the side. she slightly chuckled, making him laugh too.

~ several months later ~

"one, two, three, fighting!" the boys cheered as they waited backstage for the emcees to finish talking. kihyun looked behind him and saw y/n. he quickly ran to her and hugged her tightly.

"you'll do great, i promise you." she whispered in his ear, making him beam with confidence. "the whole world will love you."

"thank you." he said, kissing her forehead and letting go of the hug.

"up next, we have the winning group of the survival show, 'no mercy' storming out for their debut!" the emcee announced into his microphone, making the audience cheer.

"that's my queue, i'll see you after i debut," he told her, kissing her once more and leaving the backstage with the rest of the group.

she felt an arm wrap around her shoulder and saw her father smile. "i believe in them, just like you do."

"they'll do great." she replied, giggling softly.

"now, we have a new group who will make their debut here. the five-member boy group, whose vocals and charisma will attack every girl's heart; it's, nuboyz!"

fans cheered for the new boy group, as the trainees were ready to perform what they've been training for from the past few years. their song started to play, and they all danced, sung, and rapped.

once the song was over, they said a few words to everyone and exited the stage. y/n and hyungwon applauded for the boys, and she ran up to them and hugged them all tightly. they hugged her back, relieved that they finally accomplished their goal.

"i'm so proud of you guys!" she congratulated.

"thank you so much." shownu thanked, patting her back. they let go of the hug, and she hugged kihyun. he hugged her back, tears almost falling from his eyes.

"you did it." she whispered in his ear, happy for him. the others awed them, and hyungwon just smiled.

"okay, break the hug up, let's go for lunch; some other people wanna eat with you all." hyungwon announced, putting his arms in between the two. they let go of the hug, and they all followed hyungwon into his car, driving them to a restaurant.

after some time of driving, he stopped at a pretty expensive restaurant. the boys got out of the car and followed hyungwon inside. they saw the trainees from the other group waiting for them on a table that was reserved. they looked at the new idol group and stood up while hugging them.

"congrats, guys!" they kept on repeating, hugging, and patting their backs. the hugs all stopped, and they sat down, looking at the menus.

"order whatever you want; lunch is on me!" hyungwon announced to everyone, making them clap and cheer.

~ time skips ~

: i'm glad we debuted, finally.

: like seriously, you don't know how long i've been waiting for this moment to happen.

: i'm proud of you and the others!

: the whole world now knows the talent you all hold!

: but on another note, mentally wise, you helped us so much

: if it were not for you, we would've gone crazy

: you guys need a distraction once in a while, i'm glad i can be that.

: oh, and btw, shin hoseok texted me to tell you guys he said congrats on the debut and that he'll be looking forward to the next comeback

: that's nice of him

: tell him we all said thank you very much

: i'll tell him later

: wow, you all must be tired, especially you

: i should let you sleep now, right?

: although i'm a bit tired, i still want to text you

he blushed from reading the message she sent. i'm crazy for her. he thought to himself. that is okay; she crazy over me as well.

he looked at the others, who were already asleep. he smiled and turned the lights of the dorm off, then walking to his bunk and going to sleep as well.
