day - february 1st

i ended up coming to changkyun's apartment to have dinner with him. i'm cooking food before he comes back, so it wouldn't be an issue making food while he's here.

i was boiling soup and i heard a knock on the apartment front door. "changkyun?" the voice of a woman was right behind that door. i turned to turn off the stove and dashed by changkyun's bedroom. the knock became louder and i could tell the woman was getting frustrated. "changkyun? i know you're in there. i just want to talk about us... and getting back together. so open this goddamn door!"

i was frightened. i jumped as she kept screaming from the outside. my feet ran towards the living room and quickly took my phone off the coffee table. i heard murmurs and her constant banging on the door. the sounds abruptly stopped as i heard the knob turn.

"wait, the door is unlocked." the woman says.

i forgot to lock the door.

i heard the doorknob starting to unlock so i decided to run quickly and hide in changkyun's closet.

the person's footsteps were wandering all over the apartment. i heard her comment on the soup on the stove and heard her sit down on the couch. "i know you're here, changkyun!"

the feeling of panic and anxiety i had felt cooped up in the closet had completely broken the scale from 1-10.

i sent a text to changkyun.

when are you coming home?

i'm on my way back...

why?

there's a woman here.

i'm currently hiding in your closet.

how did she get in?

i was an idiot and forgot to lock the door.

give me 10 minutes.

i felt my heart constantly beating out of my chest, and i continued hoping that the woman outside of this closet doesn't hear it.

her footsteps began to sound louder and louder. i realized...

that she is now in the same room as me.
