day - february 5th

"are you ready?" changkyun's voice asks me, as i was staring at the gps, the destination in just a few minutes. i snapped back to reality and stare at him,

"yes... i think." he takes his right hand and places it on top of mine, assuring me that everything was going to be okay.

the car starts to slow down and park in front of this small house, the grass completely dry and not taken care of. a small car was parked on the driveway and the house was plain.

i shifted in my seat and changkyun held his grip on my hand tighter. he looks at me. "look at me, jiyeon. you'll be fine. we already said we're in this together."

i took a deep breath in and exhaled to calm myself down. "okay..."

"i'll get out of the car first and you follow." he slowly lets go of my hand and opens the door with his left hand, getting out of his side of the car. it took me seconds to follow. as soon as i got out of the car, i walked around the vehicle towards changkyun.

"come here." he says, motioning his hand to come closer. two steps away from him, he grabs me into a tight hug. "let's stay like this for a few more seconds. i can see how nervous you are."

"no, i'm pretty sure it's just you. or, you just wanted an excuse to hug."

"you're funny." he takes my hand and we both started to walk over to the front door.
